That was freaking clever how you didn’t even introduce yourself as an insurance agent you literally just went in asking pertinent questions. That’s what’s up. I need to figure out a way to make that relevant to the tech sales SaaS industry.

"I hear voices in my head...."
This is actually spot on, I’m a recruiter and only very briefly introduce myself so they know why I’m calling and then im on to the candidate and what they need
Yall are the devil. I hate recruiters.
When he talks about car sales I always think how I’d typically avoid people like him, but he got me sold on the life insurance 😂
What I think people miss with sales is that it’s not about the 9 people who hang up, it’s the 1 who doesn’t.
Conversion is king.
@@joewalker5741I couldn’t agree more. Unfortunately my sales job recently started closely tracking conversion, and we’re having to stay above 30 percent. Not impossible, but it does a lot to show how out of touch with reality sales managers can get when they’re not on the front lines anymore.

Mug
You must be a salespersons wet dream then
Start with a question, hook. Bring a point with clarity and logic. Pull them in by convincing them with a truth and a rational, common, understandable explanation.
Now give us a example sell me
It’s all about real genuine empathy and a strong ownership and the ability to befriend any stranger knowing you are there to help them help themselves. Closed. What would you do for your family because life happens out of no where. There is nothing more important than family legacy and your family to grow together for future generations to come. Break the cycle
Except this guy is the furthest thing from genuine empathy. That’s why he’s a sales trainer rather than a salesman. He can make a killing selling classes to salesmen he can impress instead of being empathetic.
Damn this guy going to make me call my agent tomorrow for insurance 🤯
Just buy bitcoin instead. Your family will thank you after you are gone.
I got you
This stuff is so transparent though. I see this kind of well rehearsed pitch and immediately pull back because I know im about to hear some BS. Its amazing this works on so many people.
It should be selling itself. I sure as hell don't want to leave my 2 with what's in my bank account. And life ins is tax free and draws interest. You can also borrow against it. It's one common denominator of the extrem.ely wealthy
This is his best one ever.
Bro didn’t even blink for a whole minute ☠️
wtf 😂😂😂
He on the snow forsure 😂
Been in sales over 15 years. Currently work in advertising/marketing. Every great sales person understands that the way to start any conversation is to ask questions. Rookies will always ruin opportunities by speaking more and listening less. Rapport and charisma are a big part as well, but don’t ever forget to ASK QUESTIONS
Could you give me some advice? I work door to door sales and in my experience if I start with questions (discovery questions) people usually are quicker to get to a not interested response. I work for a major internet/cable company, what is one way you would approach a door with asking questions first approach? Because I have tried different things to open like oh spoke with all your neighbors and I’m hearing they are paying to much on X service. What speed and price do you pay for your service etc etc
@@JS-js3mu to be honest, I’ve never worked door to door sales. One thing I always try to do is understand the consumer. Put yourself in their shoes. Door to door in my opinion is the quickest way to put someone’s guard up and see you as a sales person. If I had to guess, every person you talk to is probably annoyed you knocked. I know I would if someone was interrupting my time at home.
Best advice I could think of is to come across VERY genuine, greet them with a smile, and acknowledge you are not meaning to interrupt their time and state your intentions QUICK. “ Hey, I’m really sorry for bothering you at home and I know that I am interrupting your day. My name is blank, and I’m here because I am asking people door to door in the neighborhood if they feel they are paying too much for their xyz services. I specialize in the space, and would love an opportunity to get your email and phone number to follow up with you at a better time. Could you tell me really quickly who you are with? “
Not sure if this would work, but the basic formula is the understand the prospects position (interrupting their person time at home), state your reasons asap, and get contact information to follow up LATER. No one wants to be sold, people want to buy.
Get the contact info, and get out. A lead is better than a no or slammed door I think. Best of luck.
@@JS-js3mu introduce yourself and say you’ll be super quick and ask if they are the homeowner in such a way as (I’m assuming you’re the property owner here correct?) it’s assuming instead of just asking it shows more confidence. Also 80% of the door approach is just the energy and body language you’re giving off and a lot of it is how you say it not necessarily what you are saying. You want to be as simple and concise on any answer to a question you are giving it also portrays confidence and it makes it seem like you know what you’re talking about. Also if they give you an objection such as (I’m moving) say something to the effect of / “perfect we have an instant transfer gauruntee that’s no problem” THEN you ask a question to redirect their thinking from an objection to something else, asking questions in that aspect let’s you take control of the situation by leading them to a response or even just by letting them talk and get comfortable. Also try asking questions in the beginning such as “how long have you lived in the home” “do you talk to any of your neighbors” small questions just to get them to open up to you and start talking a bit more. Then once you’re farther into it and they are actually listening to what you are saying , only then go into the hot questions such as “how much was your highest electricity bill in the past year?” Build that emotion of pain after they start listening so you can provide a solution that they won’t just shrug it off
@@Mylokidgood advice but in door to door it’s a lot different, such as in the beginning you’d want to say “hi I’m so and so I’ll be super quick” then get into it, rather than “I’m so sorry for interrupting your day” because they will just say “yes you are interrupting or you are bugging me . Goodbye.” And slam the door right in your face. In door to door any excuse you give them to shut the door on you they will take it everytime. It’s about speaking consicely and confidently so there’s less opportunities for them to shut the door on your face. Ty for trying to help though I love seeing people be supportive and offering good advice rather than just being hateful and negative. Hope all stays well man and I hope you kill it in your respected field. @js-js3mu
@@JS-js3muyeh its the whole door to door thing and call centre nobody likes because you should be able to sit in your own home without being targeted to hand over more cash. You should be able to have a personal phone that companies you dont dea with call you on. Its called you time and your own space and its breached. Even turning on radio or tv we have to listen/watch ads atleast twice every half an hour. An internet search, theres ads and news getting popped up for u without needing to click on them. I hate when i walk in a store being greeted straight away too because they should let you look and just smile initially. Thats it. Its not easy dealing with companies because they often over charge you or whatever so there always seems to be something to sort out so thats why for me its annoying when companies im not with take up my time too.
I love how he says "I'm gonna ask you a question in the last 30 seconds of your life". That right there just starts to change the customers mind to buy immediately.
He gonna ask someone in the last 30 seconds of their life that question instead of calling 911. Lol

Notice how he asked 3 times if they had a family until he got someone that would make his routine pitch sound effective… not hating just shedding light on a detail
Who sells insurance to a room full of people lol.
That's accurate though. The most important thing when selling is that your product or service is a good fit for the client. People with no family don't need life insurance.
That was actually solid. Definitely most convincing vid I’ve seen of this guy.

He started asking questions which is the most important part of selling
That's why it's key to listening, and it takes skill to sum it up in this manner. Don't over think anything and keep it simple Job Well done .. Master closer indeed
Closer is easy AF !! Gotta have confidence and sell whatever your selling saying it with your chest out like u mean it ‼️‼️
Then i would say " get the premium down to $60 a month and we got a deal"
Then it won’t be the amount needed to protect your family. This isn’t buying a car. These premiums are based of actuarial figures and advisors don’t have that discrepancy to discount premiums like that. Good try though but it’s not like buying a car.
This guy has the same frame of Brock Lesnar if you notice. It seems like he’s more even Alpha than Brock 😂
It’s all about relationships and relatability and being able to connect and empathize and own our statements and meet them on their level and provide what they know they need and get them locked in. Empathy ownership drive passion finding a conduction with your buyer is vital.. u need to relate and empathize with them wherever they are at in their life and show them the way..they didn’t even know was a way and closed

This man gets so much hate, but you can’t deny his sales skills are on point if you’ve ever actually been in sales.
To a degree. His approach wouldn’t work as well in the Midwest or the south. He tries to talk fast and overwhelm people into making a quick decision. That’s more of an east coast approach
He's on point
I wouldn't be talking to a salesman to help me decide unless I had questions I couldn't answer before talking to him, and then I would be hopefully blowing most of this off and gearing the conversation toward getting the answers I needed. His argument is rooted in whether to buy anyone's life insurance and he's only applying it to his. He's talking to the cold call, the door to door, or the person who hasn't otherwise done research prior. Before talking to him, I've already looked up multiple companies, and for what I can find, their prices, what I get from them, and whether or not they are woke like most of corporate America.
That boy Andy is cold with it. Bravo
Love his energy and approach! Close the damn deal
I think it’s funny that all these Random’s think they are gonna be Jordan Belfort working for terrible companies haha. If you wanted to make a lot of money in sales then you need to work for a company that pays its salesmen a LOT of money, (which is few and far between). Or just start your own business and apply the same principles as this guy. It’s not rocket science.

I read a book, how I made a million dollars selling life insurance. He had an auto dialer, it said something like "if you passed away today, how would your family cover the cost of the funeral? If you want to help protect your family from that cost press 1"
Genius.
I was in life insurance for 4 years. Though that close sounds great but it only works for someone that has no life insurance in place. If their insurance through work, there’s plenty of different points you can attack there but that sales pitch no longer works.
