I like the fact Scott Ian is not afraid to show his appreciation of other musicians. You can see this with Ted Nudgent in the supergroup series. Scott Ian is not only a great musician himself, he is a great person who seems to be really real

As I saw the pain in Zakks eyes I started crying. I dont wanna imagine what he went through after he got the message that Dime died... breaks my heart seeing everybody being in pain back then and even after 17 years its so devastating to live with the fact that such a loving person was killed so brutally and without any reason and left so many peoples hearts with a big hole... I've never heard anyone say that about zakk. I hear it about Randy Rhoads a lot. Zakk had success without ozzy. The one that didn't yet everyone claims ozzy should give credit is Jake e lee. If people were smart they would realize Ozzy made Jake. If Jake was truly great he would have had other success outside of ozzy

Saw Zakk and his black label society band, front row, and after show. Zakk came off the tour bus and talked to about 8 of us fans. He was sooo super kind, and down to earth. One of the best people ive ever met. Bad bad badass musician too.
