we share a similar story, brother, I lost my beloved mother last year, and due to covid, I couldn't leave Taiwan to Bali, Indonesia. My dad died in february. My dad was my best friend. A lot of the time he was the one who showed me new music. This was one of his favorites. This is the first time ive listened to it since he died. Its the first time ive even been able to. My oldest friend. My only friend, really. I miss you dad.

This was played at my friends funeral many years ago. Still hits me like a tonne of bricks whenever it comes up on my playlist. A troubled but beautiful soul who chose to leave us too soon. We shared the same birthday, I still celebrate for the two of us, raise a toast and pour one out for my good buddy.

They were best friends. The guitar was a gift from Dime that he had co-designed with Dean guitars just before his death in 2004. His Dean Razorback had Zakk's trademark bulls eye finish. R.I.P. Dime.

This was played at my friends funeral many years ago. Still hits me like a tonne of bricks whenever it comes up on my playlist. A troubled but beautiful soul who chose to leave us too soon. We shared the same birthday, I still celebrate for the two of us, raise a toast and pour one out for my good buddy.

There's something about the Harmonics he does at around 2:56, it's so emotional to me it's like Dime is speaking.
