Performances like this, along with the amount of touring they did, rid Bruce of his high notes and killer screams. Bruce has never screamed like this after the world slavery tour, not once. It also affected his live singing for the rest of the 80s.
Luckily he still retained his vocal power.

even with him being tired af from the constant touring, you can hear it in his voice throughout the 80s but against that he still manages to do things like 5:40
A G5 is impossible? Maybe for a Bass. Most Baritones can hit that with practice and i believe every tenor can hit that note. Now do they sound as awesome as Bruce doing it? No, not in a thousand years, but the note itself isn't that special dickinson hit way higher notes himself. The verses are waaaaaaaaay more challenging and demanding than the screams

@Rollo Dice Plant was great for a lot longer than two years. Even in 2007, although he'd lost top end in favour of more range down low, the character and projection was still there. Dio was incredibly versatile yet unmistakable. I just can't take Mercury seriously when he gave us worthless piles of self-indulgent wank like We Will Rock You and Bohemian Rhapsody.
@Rollo Dice go and listen to Elf and Rainbow. Plant sounded superb all the way up to and including Physical Graffiti. LZ were able to make No Quarter etc last with a lot of quality material. Queen never had that. Most overrated band since the Beatles.
I heard Udo derksnider from accept attempt to sing this and started coughing and gagging halfway through the first verse, he could sing accepts music but I think he smoked to many cigarettes and shouldn't have attempted it, they just stopped the song and played balls to the wall.

Damn before the Powerslave tour ruined his vocals he was the greatest
His vocals made a full recovery in the 90s. He sounds better live from 1998-2012 than even here. He just screams more here, but The Talisman (En Vivo) proves absolutely that his technique and voice got much better. Hell, the Where Eagles Dare from Ullevi (2005) is actually a better vocal performance than this, he just doesn't do those screams.
Check out my best live Bruce Dickinson vocal performances video on my channel. Almost all of them are from 1998 onwards. His live performances got so much better as he got older. If you don't believe me check the video out and you'll see. If you can seriously watch that Talisman performance or Jerusalem with Ian Anderson and say that sounds like a "ruined" voice then you seriously have hearing issues.
This is best of bruce. After this Hammersmith gigs they went to Finland Helsinki. In Helsinki Bruce was Worst ever. Listen Iron Maiden Helsinki 1983.
