  • Welcome back to The Food Experience! This experience I am trying out a boneless chicken breast on the rotisserie in the Maxx. I apply EVOO and a nice seasoned rub. Towards the end of cooking bbq sauce is applied. Watch the video for specifics. Hope you enjoy this one and thanks for tuning into The Food Experience.

    I appreciate you trying this! I'll be doing something similar with a bone-in chicken breast. I also have a Meater - best gadget EVER!

    Whenever wanting to use the rotisserie for chicken breasts wud work better if you tie both beasts with butchers twine as well as other meats such as turkey breast Kuz what tastier way to enjoy a meat that's basting itself while cooking on rotisserie mode ...hope this helps

    Looks so good. Was wondering cause im thinking of getting the same air fryer. Have you tried cooling multiple things at the same time? Like veggies and tatters with your meats. Or like bread or rolls along with it.

      I have tried to cook some things at the same time. It could be rather challenging due to the difference in temperatures that food needs to be cooked at. I'm not much of a veggie eater. I definitely need to experiment with that a little more. I could definitely see cooking fries and chicken at the same time so long as the fries cook above the chicken. Otherwise the fries would get chicken drippings on them.

      @@TheFoodExperience I was definitely thinking about cooking up some like maybe zucchini or squash up top to have embroiled and then maybe some potatoes something along that lines to go with like a nice roast or even some good chicken breast or a steak but I could see how like cooking things at different temperatures you have to watch it very carefully probably

      @@Familygaming342 That should definitely work and yes, just keep an eye on things as they are cooking.

    What can I use instead of the rub? What seasoning ingredients do you recommend

    • @TheFoodExperience
      @TheFoodExperience  2 года назад +2

      I always prefer a good rub mixture. You could alternately perhaps use a lemon pepper combination with fresh lemon juice and pepper. And then baste it on. that probably wouldn't be good with the barbecue sauce though. You could also apply olive oil and then just salt and pepper if you don't care for all the spices. In addition you could make a brine such as this one: www.recipetineats.com/chicken-brine-recipe/

    You should have used some kitchen ties

    • @TheFoodExperience
      @TheFoodExperience  2 года назад

      If I was cooking a whole chicken I would have trussed it however with the chicken breast that's not really necessary.

      If it was a full chicken I would have tied it. With just a chicken breast there was no need.

    You need to SHARPEN your knife!

    • @TheFoodExperience
      @TheFoodExperience  Год назад

      All the sharpening in the world wouldn't help this knife. Lol That was a long time ago and I have since have much sharper knives.
