as a mother i can say the love for her offspring is different, very powerful. richard dawkins book 'the selfish gene' talks about it. he is basically saying the gene isn’t just selfish to preserve itself, it’s selfish to preserve every copy of itself that exists. Certain actions are meant to preserve its copies, like “altruistic” behavior towards relatives
Yes, as I say, both logic and emotion is a "truth." And when they say the same thing, that is how we know is it true.
everybody is selfish, does it really matter?
I think it is important to have a more complex discussion on it since Fi, in particular, is waived off as somehow being wrong, and I'd like to discuss mature and immature versions of Fi, instead of lumping it into simply being "selfish." At least, that was the goal of my video. 🙂🤗
