When the trailers were coming out it was one of my most anticipated, along with rawhide and tomboy. After playing the game fully, I've found those three to be my least favorite :P. Still, good to know this breaker has a few good spots for itself, and thanks again for the thorough analysis!
As a nero main.Trial and error. You just try as many different things out as possible and record what you find in your head. They are pretty hidden. You can punch using the buster arm twice after ever taunt and once after every roll(useful for furies).
Awesome Guide as always! By the way, Master Drill can destroy Cavalier's shield in one hit, but only after you drain all his sword charges, not something extremely useful, but it can sometimes speed up the fight
if anyone is having trouble with hell and hell for urizen on mission 8 just bring 8 helter skelters and drill master his shield. its easy and safe. good video as always alan
I'm curious if there's a difference in properties between helter skelter vs monkey business From my limited testing it seems like monkey business does more a bit more damage
@@shariac5786 I haven't tested it thoroughly but banana breaker might be slightly different. It can't break through chaos's spikes in one hit like helter skelter can for example.

I thought his shield was being destroyed when an "x" number of DAMAGE was being dealt to it not from an "x" number of successful blows delivered to it like the scissors from death scissors... Either I am mistaken or you are... Can you please clarify what it is because I really want to know?
vasilis metallinos when u fight Urizen using the helter skelter arm ur able to hold circle and Nero with do the arm break attack with helter skelter making u have god frames and take no damage
Well, knew most of this. I don't like packing Helter Skelter but it's incredibly effective against Scudos, Sin Scissors especially and Urizen shield (although it does puts you in vulnerable position - and potentially breaking your arm. Also Drill Master is very hard to aim and often misses with its random tracking and camera. I think other breakers are more useful especially since Break-Away can also grant i-frames, deal good damage, throw enemies back and escape enemies grabs. (can't remember if Break-Away cancel your long attack animations). Few questions and key notes though: 1) How did you do that Air-Guitar on Style B again? I thought it's SSS only and super random. I barely saw it a couple of times in 5. 11:34 2) How did you do Red Queen air rave 3-hits without throwing Vergil off at the 3rd hit? (3rd hit always knocks enemies back and far away even with JC - which is hard to time) at 12:42. I saw someone else do that, I tried it myself on random enemies - and 3rd hit always knocks enemies down and far. 3) At 14: 07 it appears Drill Rig has some hyper-armor - since you got *damaged* from some Empusa and yet your devil breaker didn't break and you weren't staggered and cancelled either. That's an interesting properties worth mentioning! However I remember using it on Urizen shield - and getting hit by blast or tentacle and getting interrupted and Helter broke. 4) Plus I noticed that using the last stages of Drill Rig has some "shockwave" cancelling enemies movement, and slightly pushing them away enemies. Similar to buster "shockwave" effect on nearby enemies in DMC4 and rarely on 5. I think you can see it on 5:10 but not sure.
1. I got the guitar taunt on SSS, I was just letting it play out so long that I dropped to B by the time it was time to show what I wanted. 2. Vergil has different hit properties than normal enemies, in this case air rave 3 doesn't knock him away unless you hit the move limit. Another example is showdown can not hit him away. (he might bounce though) 3. The thing about that is not all hits are equal for super armor. The empusa has a really weak hit so that's probably the only thing it will tank. Another example would be people say cavaliere R has no super armor, but it actually does. Its not as good though so people might not notice. Cavaliere can tank a hell antenora hit, but Cavaliere R cant. However Cavaliere R can tank a scudo angelo slash. Helter skelter might function the same way and only power through very weak hits.
It’s a shame this Breaker is so niche. Really only good for Urizen cheese, because its specialty is something Nero has no trouble getting around. Shields are easy for Nero to deal with something like Gerbera to get behind them, whilst also being an extremely useful breaker in other worlds. The break attack is pretty cool. Ultimately, Helter Skelter is the biggest victim of not being allowed to arm switch on the fly.
So...mmm...I just can't beat Goliath with nero, is just a pain in the ass, and there isn't any guide of it on your channel (literally can do the entire palace but the Goliath, that thing is a hell no) so if u can do any video of it Ps: the Cavaliere only full palace actually work awesome and is so beautiful, cant explain it but I loved it

It's a gum not a cigarette and it heals you a bit. It's one of those taunts that are tied to a style ranking (S iirc)
