NICE WORK!!!! Couple of questions: if I buy the plans, do you take American currency? Do you have plans for the bench in inches and feet? Also, I don't know if I can get the laminate top that you have, so what are the dimensions just in case I have to make my own laminate top?

Matthias Wandel would give a tip of the hat at your level of engineering and craftsmanship in making your own woodworking machines. That 3D router looks very functional.
The amount of money you've saved yourself by building your own machinery is amazing, but the amount of ease you've created for yourself by your ingenuity is brilliant. Well done.
I feel like every video of yours that I watch I have to watch multiple times just to get the basics of everything you're doing. There is so much skill, content and ideas in each of these videos it's staggering.
YOU ARE IN A CLASS OF YOUR OWN, YOU ARE TRULY GENIUS! I think all of us would just like to talk to you sometime just to see if we could take in some of your insight. Congradulations and keep it up.
I am following you almost from the beginning, actually when you published the portable workshop video. There is an impressive constant in every project you do, none excluded, which is the high level precision in each single step of your process combined with the apparent simplicity that you make it seems... And, on top of that, you use almost always tools that you have built by your own... It's astonishing... I am speechless every time!
After watching the entire build I find this a well thought out build. I have said on Paul Sellers Wood Working Bench build of birch plywood, someday I'll live close enough to a place where nice birch plywood is less than a day away.
Man, when I watch your videos I am just, so impressed with your shop...your shop built tools...and the cleanliness and orderliness of it all. Your shop, to me, is like some sort of Nirvana for woodworking. This build is great. Like all the others...it's great. Could you please tell me what brand of pedestal drill jig yours is? It looks quite precise and capable.
Got to say, you're the Russian Birch Plywood (RBP) Master. Absolutely great ingenuity not only in the design of the workbench but in all the tools you've built. I'm an avid utilizer of RBP constructions but this video series got me pumped for a much higher level. Thanks for making these videos. Normand from Montreal, Canada
Hi, you could put a hidden lever which would slide under the bench top and use it to rotate your full sheets of plywood the top of the bench. If you make the pivot point about an inch above the center you could use one finger to rotate the plywood up onto the bench top, this concept works very well for me and after using it I rotate the lever up horizontally and slide up under the bench top until I need it again. I hope this helps.
You look like a movie russian villain This is such a great idea...you can still use the bench top for regular workbench use, and that simple side solution can do precise rip cuts, I was thinking about making a vertical rip cutting thing to save space, this is much better
Bien Maestro !
I really love the way you've 'engineered' almost all your shop machines and benches. Well thought out and sturdy. I must say you really need to use safety glasses if not only to protect your eyes at least to set a good example for your viewers. Your eyes are the most valuable organ in this profession. Without them we cant have more videos from you. Thank you for your builds and videos.

I love this Rip guide bro.. It's brilliantly thought out. I realise it may be a simple thing for u to make but for me it's brilliant my friend.. I wanted to build a saw that would allow me to cut large boards, etc on the wall of my shop.. Would u ever think of doing something like that for a small workshop like I have where space is at a premium.. I have a 16X12ish.. The 12 has the ish to it..LOL.. It could be 10 feet across.. I need to do a proper measure up but at the moment I need to clear it out and fill a skip full of crap that was allowed to build up in the garage for yrs..Too much info there I know.. LMAO I begin building or kitting out my workshop next week nd it starts with 2 skips.. haha! Once I get it cleared and cleaned then I have to put in new lighting and
Thank you it is the best workbench I ever seen. I have a question: what happens with table top during season size changes? (Now I am reading a book about woodworking and it writes that it is not the best way of setting up table top.)
There is so much skill being shown, I don’t know where to start. But my biggest barrier to building this is That I have zero clue how to use all those drilled holes beyond wedging vice items like he shows later in this series. I wish I did.

What a novel design! Thank you for sharing! Two questions: 1) Is wood expansion for your top a concern for the flatness and also cracking, given you’ve lag bolted four corners of the top? 2) you have different types of coating on each side, will that again affect the flatness? Thank you for sharing! Can’t wait for the rest of the series!
thanks Lok! I I think both questions are similar. Maybe with a board made with wet wood and low thickness could have problems, but not with a quality finger joint board. Both the water-based varnish and the oil-based finish will protect the wood against moisture exchange.
