Tim Tebow is a legend in my book. He may not have been one of the best players to ever play the game, but I consider him to be a legend because he lives for Christ. He is an extremely humble and respectable man, and that really warms my heart to see. I am not a fan of any of the teams Tim Tebow played for, but he is one of my favorite athletes of all time.

I’m a diehard Broncos fan, but I think Elway really messed up with Tebow. I would have kept him, signed Peyton, and had him develop behind him. Peyton could have taught him how to do things better, read defenses, decision making, etc. But instead we shipped him to the Jets. I would have kept him so we could have a legitimate quarterback now. Then now we wouldn’t have the quarterback situation we do now.
They traded him to the Jets because as a business move they got draft picks and made room to sign people around Manning. Long term it MIGHT have worked, but they made the right decision on getting the most out of Tebow when he was hot. 2 Potential Superbowl rings with winning 1 came out of it. The trade is defintley the way they should have gone.

It was a typical Elway draft botch job. The only draft pick Elway did not mess up was his first in Von Miller. Then, after Elway was run out of the GM job, the Broncos traded for Russell Wilson by shipping out the equivalent of three 1st rounders, three 2nd rounders, and a 4th/5th swap. Tebow is 36 and has the same skill set as Russell Wilson. To recap, the Broncos used four 1st rounders, four 2nd rounders, a 5th, a 6th, and two 7th rounders to trade Tebow. In return, the Broncos got a 4th and a 7th round pick and Russell Wilson. Give me back my draft capital Elway. Oh, and all those free agent QBs did not come cheap.
I look at the current quarterbacks in the NFL and it's mind-boggling that this guy doesn't have a backup job. yeah, his arm is average at best as well as his accuracy, but his physicality, intangibles, and leadership are off the charts.
He is a good enough athlete and has enough heart to be in the NFL. With that said, if he wasn't too stubborn to change positions he'd still be in the NFL, because he really can't throw by NFL standards.
He could easily be a fullback or a tight end if he wanted to be, but he is too prideful to not be a starting QB. Really, he honestly could have fit in on a lot of teams if he switched positions. Super talented athlete overall, but not good enough to be an NFL Qb.

This was the most incredible run of one impossible victory after another I have ever seen. I'm a 100% Atheist and always will be but the amount of things that had to go right for him to comeback and win about 5 of the games that year was incredible. First off he just happens to be the most outspoken religious Christian in NFL history. In like 2 of the games they recovered an onside kick, then somehow got into FG range of a kicker that had very good range. Two of the games he had to hit from around 60 yards, but don't worry because they also just happen to be playing in Denver where the ball travels farther. And in each of these games the offense was unable to move the ball at all until the last qtr.
