- Tim Tebow has a long list of accomplishments. He is a Heisman Trophy winner. He is a National Champion. He is a first-round draft pick in the NFL. He is an author of a few books. He is the leader of a life-changing foundation. But before all of that, he is a follower of Christ.
It was 2009 and Tebow was playing college football at Florida. He was weeks away from competing in the highly televised national championship football game when God led him to write John 3:16 under his eyes for all the world to see while he played. What happened next was no coincidence, but God working through a small act of courage that God used to do amazing things.

We're getting ready to run out of the tunnel. And as a football player, so often it is really tunnel vision. It's the next thing, the next thing, the next thing. You can't afford to step back and look at the big picture because you can just lose focus. So so many times, it's just locked into the next thing I have to do.
Well at this moment, I really felt like God was putting it on my heart to change the verse. I was like, "Really? Right now?" But I kind of stepped back for a second and realized that if we won, we'd be playing in the national championship and that would be maybe the biggest stage that I would ever get to change the verse and put something meaningful on there.
So we were blessed to win and the next six weeks leading up to the national championship game, I was contemplating, really agonizing, over what verse I was going to go with. But God kept bringing to my heart and my head John 3:16. Because as a Christian, that's the essence of our Christianity, it's the essence of our hope. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him will not perish, but have everlasting life." That's what we believe in as Christians. So I decided that's the verse I'm going to go with.

But it's amazing how big the God is that we serve. He took something that I did three and half years ago, to make a decision to put Philippians 4:13 and then change it for one game. But I thought, "Hey, this is really cool. We impacted some people, but it's done."
But no, God has an awesome plan. He has an awesome plan and you might not even see what He's doing. You might not even know how He's working. But the amazing thing is, when we step out and we show a little courage. We step out and we show a little boldness, what God can do with it in our lives, through our lives. But He's a big God. He's a big God and He can perform miracles. He can perform miracles. I really believe that He wants to.
You have to understand, the God of this universe loves you so much that He sent His Son to die for you. If He loves you that much, is He not going to want to fight for you? Is He not going to want to fight with you? Is He not going want to come through for you?
Now that doesn't mean that life is going to be easy. It's not. But it means that it's going to be worth it. It means that it's going to be worth it.

NFL is all about the the Benjamins. He was the biggest draw. A huge money maker. He could have sold out Jacksonville for years even as a 500 team. Nope, he was blackballed. The league didn't want him. Too popular. Too righteous. The NFL did not want to be upstaged by a devout Christian man. They would prefer a anthem protesting mediocre QB in Kapernick. I was telling someone about this story that needed to hear something positive. At the exact minute i finished telling him, a truck pulls In front of him with John 3:16 on the tailgate. We were In different states and i told him ,man your missing with me. He recorded it live on his phone and immediately sent it to me . i got goosebumps ,God giving a little wink to let us know he is still watching and Loving us.

That was an amazing testimony. I'm almost 23, and I have Hydrocephalus. Since the age of 2, I've had nearly 100 brain surgeries. I know that life isn't always easy, but with GOD, it's definately worth it. I know I wouldn't be where I'm at today without GOD, and for that my soul is well-pleased. He wasn't a bad QB, but he really needed work and had other talents as well. Even Sean Payton wanted Tebow on the Saints as the same role Taysom Hill is now (and I wish Tebow didn't say no).

As a steelers fan (and a Christian) I watched the full playoff game where Tebo beat us, and realized the ridiculous stats. I remember being at an office downtown the next morning pissed that the the Broncos had beat us while realizing it was for the greater good. That message solidified my belief and I am grateful 🙏🏻

I was a child when I watched this game live. Absolutely huge Steelers fan. I felt a deep dislike for Tebow because of this. I have recently become a Christian and watched this video. I had no idea. He is an absolutely great guy. I felt a resentment towards him through jealousy. Now I look up to him. And this is a story that everyone should see. This story moved me and helped me in my faith in God.

My daughter was 8 months pregnant, on 3/16 she was in a car accident, a very serious car accident, she should have died, God performed a miracle that day. Her only child, her only son, whose name was Julian John, died for her that day, saving her life, by giving his life for her to live. We do NOT feel this was a coincidence. We miss him every day but we know that he was sent to save the life of our daughter.

I've met lots of Christians in my life. People that were instrumental in saving many lives for Christ. Sadly, many of these people don't have a chance to talk in their churches and share their experiences. Then a guy that makes a lot of money becomes the image of a super-Christian. I never heard anyone saying that they became a Christian because of Tim Tebow. Statistics show that most Christians get saved through a personal testimony from another Christian. Even Billy Grahan gets a credit that he doesn't deserve. Most people that went to his crusades were invited by another Christian that was already preaching and praying for that person. The real Christians don't get credit because they don't want to be on TV. They are humble.
How can this only have 15 likes? This is an amazing story, which shows just how powerful God is and how much he loves us. I ask everyone who sees this video to share it on their preferred social media platform. Just hearing someone speak of the power of God and how God has affected their life, is enough to bring me to tears. As sinners, we don't deserve God's love, but he gives it anyway!

Always loved Tim Tebow even before I got saved. He was inspiring and I loved how he stood for Jesus regardless. People blame it on “he couldn’t throw”, but people know it was deeper than him not being able to throw. Emmitt Smith? The NFL has a strong connection with Christianity-has had many devout players for years. Tim just couldn’t play at that level-doesn’t mean he isn’t a great guy, just not NFL material

And the NFL is a sports league full of imperfect people, like organizations everywhere. Jamarcus Russell played 5 or 6 seasons and he was the worst QB I've ever seen. Not saying Tebow was a great QB but he was worthy of being in the league. He got ran out over his faith.
