The one that needs to change the most on all cameras is the reduction of clutter in the menus. There is so much options and stuff in there that I almost never use, for me having the option to group all the functions I do access on a regular basis into one menu would be a huge step up. I am not aware of any camera maker that does this.
wish you could do a detailed tutorial with examples on how to set all different custom settings and focusing and movie settings....hard to find out everything about this camera from reading the manual
Never had the privilege to own a D4, but if i had the cash I would strongly consider the D4s although my current camera purchase considerations are non Nikon. The low light, high end shutter performance would be a very big draw for me regardless of who makes it. Nikon has a tendency to make only incremental changes. I like the features of the new D4s at least.
I love my 5D MK3 with a native ISO 100-25600, which is the same as the D4s, unless your a PI or a night pervert 409600 not really usable for the regular photographer, IMHO. :)
and again, not a word about the difference in video quality with the D4, if there is any difference at all. I mention just quality. Not the 60fps thing.
It's existed on Nikon pro bodies back in 2004/3005 with the D2x and D2hs as well. Same with the setting banks where you can save your camera settings. Some of this stuff is old rehashed tech that's just been polished up and reintroduced.
There is a common problem with Nikon D4. The multi-selection buttons fall off. This supposed to be the most robust flag ship camera... Lame !!! And, Nikon (Canada) asks $283 to fix it and give your camera back! They make $283 from a $2 rubber button (which is not supposed to fall off even after years), but lose reputation for bad customer relationship, and leave a bitter taste and frustrated customers behind. Cheap marketing mentality. Shame on Nikon !
Bought my D4s from B&H and in my humble opinion. It’s KING !!
Always the best review . For sport and and low light pro lens and pro body most important finally photographers gift.

Great review. I love my D4s. Agree with another comment that this is a little late though. Camera's been out for months now.

1 stop better. Focus during video is smooth. Full had at 60fps.
Will buy after 10 years for 750 dollars
Did you get one?

Is that group-area focus already existing on canon's camera, isn't it?
Long time ago
Yes, Canon refers to it as ?Zone AF? and it currently is offered on the 5D MK III and also the 1Dx models. - Yossi

I love my D4S...still mad at Nikon for ruining the D5 :-(
why you think they ruined it?
The volume is way to low here!
Mm it's really low on my the other videos I've watched the volume was good.
Santa, u know what i want
Kinda late :/
First doesn't mean better!
i can't stand how dry the videos are. B&H tell these guys to lighten up some and stop sounding like an infomercial.
