Goodluck with that one. I've lived in Atlanta for 28 year's and 2 of them were in Lithonia. The first time was in 1996 and the second time was in 2007. In 2007 I was almost carjacked in the parking lot at Young Road and Panola Road and they chased me. I floored it which is the only reason why they couldn't shoot me if they tried. The beautification committee can tear down trees and build houses but it will always be the hood. After hurricane Katrina hit, many of them moved to Lithonia and it had gotten progressively worse since 2005. It is not going to get any better. Move if possible. 🤷🏾♀️

Back in the day everyone in our loan office purchased condo units in Lithonia. Beautiful new development on Fairington Ridge Circle. Not even a year later it turned into the most ghetto complex.
