The water mark isn’t annoying or distracting at all, I barely notice it, what’s annoying and distracting is every sims RUclipsr having to explain it for so long in every video because everyone feels the need to complain about nothing 😭

Seriously I saw it, I realize why it's there. I don't need a constant explanation on it.. why would anyone assume someone put it there just to be annoying? Like you know what I've always wanted to do? Irritate my entire fanbase for laughs. Yes let's destroy my main source of income.. that makes complete sense. Even the whole disclaimer about not getting paid is annoying.. the only people that suspect you're getting paid are the ones who are jealous that they don't get paid to do a job like this.

Many Game Changers have mentioned that they don't think the game has many buy/build things. But when you include the debug, it really increases what's available compared to what you find in other EPs. (And the debug items look more useful than in many EPs.) It looks to me like there is a lot in this EP (especially when you consider all the cool things that are coming as gameplay.) At this point, it's only 11 days until the EP comes out, but it would be nice if it wasn't even *that* long! I am really looking forward to this EP!
i know that there’s tons of new gameplay and everything & that’s why people are saying there’s not a ton of furniture. but the pack with the ancient ruins (i forgot the name sry) came with enough stuff to fully furnish a house and more. this is the kind of pack that sort of needs a ton of its own furniture because there’s not a lot in game that matches. also country kitchen could’ve been part of this pack.

yeah thats what I think. gameplay can't be an excuse for everything, like tiny worlds, not much build stuff...

Some of the furniture from C&D will work with this pack I think. It's hard to tell when you're just looking at base game plus the new pack. And if you have the home decorating pack I think you can sort by style so you can see what stuff you have that's got "cottagecore" or similar tags.
Compared to all the other expansions we have, it's lacking in lots and B&B 🤷. Windenburg is huge, we've furnished entire houses from packs before, and it seems like there's actually less gameplay from the streams I've seen. Theres a lot of like extra lil features like errands and the festivals, the cows, etc. But it seems like that's all we got

I feel like even though there isn’t much furniture in this pack, the quality of the furniture is REALLY high. There are so many build items that I’m in love with, more than any other pack, and I think that’s a good trade.
I feel like this pack would be good with realm of magic....definitely will suit a cottagecore witch lesbian couple I've always wanted to make

@@lininacrowne1941 Don't worry! They often put older packs on sale when they release new ones, especially Expansion packs, so there's a good chance you'll be able to buy it soon. The only downside is Cottage Living won't be on sale. :)

I agree, but they did include a new counter, appliances, and decor in the Expansion, so at least we don't /have/ to buy the Kit. I also suspect they introduced Kits earlier in the year so people wouldn't be as upset as with MFPS.

Fun fact:
Lots of house in the uk actually dont have thatched animals on the roof because if you have them on your roof the government don’t give you a loan.
(If you didn’t know you can get a loan to help pay for the roof when it needs replacing. They do this so that thatched roofs will stay around and people won’t get rid of them because of how expensive they are to have)

I love the kitchen chicken, it's a wire egg basket 💁♀️ We don't have to keep eggs in the fridge in the UK, so we have egg racks or wire baskets (very French country kitchen; a decor style that's very popular in the UK. Its similar to this cottage style, but feels more modern, because its all whites and light greys)

I was so excited to see you get a look at all the debug - I just knew how much you were going to love it, and it really made me smile.
I get excited about debug stuff too haha I love all the little flowers and mushrooms. I def think I'm better at building and landscaping than I am actually decorating. I struggle more inside. I can't wait to have some chickens and have a good time in the woods :)

firstly cottage houses often have bathroom only on 1st floor so it cn easly be 3-bedroom house and secondly how funny it would be if you make a bathroom outside like it used to be in old days. love it tho you'r the best

Looks very cute. You discovered the reality of these beautiful cottages. Whilst gorgeous from the outside they are usually pokey, dark and badly laid out on the inside. It's unavoidable.
I'd definitely think about the storytelling of the architecture. Thatched roofs are used in parts of the world where wood is harder to come by, in places where there's plenty of clay people make ceramic tiles, if there's lots of wood you make wooden tiles, if there's slate you use slate tiles but in many parts of the UK there's very little wood available and clay or slate is dependant on local geology so your available materials are stone if you're lucky or mud (aka cob when used as a building material) if you're not and straw from the local fields. So if the houses are built of stone that's probably the cheap and easily available material for fences too.

not even all the way through the video and it already looks better than anything I could’ve ever built
I think a really fun storyline/challenge (maybe?) could be to put a super modern style home in the middle of all these cottages and as the sims start to get used to the town they slowly start to transform their house to fit their new lives

I can’t wait for this pack!!!!! Am I alone in wanting a horse pack where you can have the horse riding skill and have an equestrian career. A full of stables that you can either have on your lot or pay rent for and maybe it being a ranch country area. Anyone else feel that would just add to the country life ?

I have never seen that thatched roof decoration before this pack content. And didn’t even know it was a real thing. Ive seen like thatched roofs in pictures before but not that “chunky” decoration on the top. I like it, its cute
