  • Box Breath, also called Square Breath or 4-4-4-4 Breath, is popular for its simplicity and stress-relieving benefits. Join YouAligned and YA Classes teacher Ashton August as she guides you through the simple 4-4-4-4 breathing technique.
    This 4-4-4-4 breathing pattern is calming + relaxing. We love the Box Breathing because it’s easy to remember and also gives you a visual of drawing a box with your breath.
    Here’s how to practice Box Breath:
    •Inhale through your nose for 4
    •Hold your breath at the top for 4
    •Exhale through your nose for 4
    •Hold at the bottom for 4
    •This makes one full round
