To me this is one of the most significant doctrines that sets The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints apart from other churches: An understanding that hardship and opposition are a necessary part of the plan of salvation. I am grateful that I know why bad things happen to good people, I am grateful for the gospel of Jesus Christ.

This breathed peace to my wounded soul full of heartache... my husband and sons have left the church recently. The heartache and pain are indescribable. I don't know why we are going through this but I know... I know I can get through this with Christ and he can somehow although it seems impossible, can heal my aching heart.

Prayers of comfort for you sister. Watching our loves ones use their gift of agency can be so hard when it takes them down a path contrary to where we desire them to be. The hardest part for me was to love unconditionally and not to let their choices affect my choices. I know there is strength in numbers and comfort through prayer, but sometimes even that feels insufficient. In those moments may the windows of heaven open and "wrap you in one ginormous hug". 💜

So much sadness in the world but the worse it becomes, if our faith in Jesus Christ is steadfast, the brighter our rewards will be.
Jesus Christ suffered for everything we will ever suffer. He loves you, and he loves me so much! He wants each of us to come unto him, who is the Master Physician, and he will heal us in his own time, and in his way, but I promise you that you and I will be healed if we let him heal us.

This came to me when I needed it the most. I just learned about some pretty dark abuse that had happened to me as a child that I had blocked out. I feel like that at times, I cannot continue on, or that my wounds will never heal. I am so glad the Savior is here for us in our darkest of times.
I've been in a similar situation and I know how hard that can be. But even more amazing is that the Savior understands your exact situation. I have found great comfort and healing in this.

Thank you Jesus Christ for helping me in times of need and for helping me shape my life for the better when those I looked up to wouldnt teach me much in this life because of their transgressions but I thank thee for the ones who have taught me along the way. I have been able to teach through my experiences in life to others and to those who didnt teach me much. Such a great talk and I have already experienced the love and peace after the pain and sorrows I have had to endure in this life. There will be more but, I know that the lord loves us all and will comfort us when we need it through the power of prayer and can help us in all things in this life we will experience. The saviour will always and forever be thanked in my daily life because he is the way to Happiness and Joy if we believe in him.
Trust, light. peace and hope, what are those? The problem with chronic pain, struggle and suffering is that it wears you down. You get lost in the dark chaos that is you, that is your life to the point that you've forgotten who you really are. You lose your identity. The only thing that reminds oneself that they are alive is the constant painful agony that haunts them.
Oh dearest Father,
I pray with the sincerity of a heavy heart and plead with you to heal the wounded before it's too late.

Divorced Parents, an abusive stepfather, a failed marriage, a second marriage yielding a mentally and disabled child, and the second child's death of terminal illness at two. We all need him and his Grace is everything
There are things in life that cannot be explained by reason. They belong to our deep inside. That is why I know that, the message that this humble apostle of the Lord is giving to us is true.
I have experienced the healing that comes after the struggles we face in our daily living.
I am referring to God's healing; a reality for those who have faith and, have got to know that He is real and is there for us.
This is exactly what I needed today given current world events and the uncertainty we see out there. Thankful for my Savior for giving me life.
Along with the bright colours of happiness and joy, the darker-coloured threads of trial and tragedy, are woven deeply into the fabrics of our Father's plan. These struggles, although difficult, often become our greatest teachers. You are not meant to parish spiritually. Jesus saves us from sins and stands ready for our wounded souls. The dark nights will pass as Jesus Rises from the Grave.

I didn't feel bad though. But in the present situation our elder daughter should protect their children. Please pray that our son-in-law will reduce his ego and know the values of man and the glories of God. Please accept my plea and guide us on the right path. Glory be to God's name!🙏

It truly helps me alot especially as I am preparing to Missionary work... I have so many indignities in life when I was a child that I carry it as I grow. I feel so bad to myself... That I have to acknowledge such truthfulness through bitter sufferings brought to me by such trials in my life. Mistreatment, bullying, mockery, false accusations, anxiety... It hurts me everytime I remember it that I have to cry or else I'll explode emotionally. But through faith in Jesus Christ, I strive to encourage myself that those days has a purpose. That I will, someday, glorify those sufferings I've encountered. And the Love of Our Lord will leave me at rest in peace in his presence. And he will heal me everytime I'm in pain. Coz I know he will always be there. That it made me decide to go on a mission. To share the love I've received especially to those who need to get know of Him. It is my faith, that they will be cured by Jesus Christ just like he did in my sorrowful days.

I just saw your message, I'm glad, even though I don't understand English, I learned a little bit. Many hardships, humiliations, frauds in my life & those who believed cheated me and stole all my earnings. I left everything because I didn't have the courage to stand alone. But now the situation is not going away. Besides, my health is not good.

Great Talk that help me to keep these words in my heart
I have been waiting all my life for this healing. When I was born I had deformities in my legs and wore braces until i was almost 5. I could not run like the other children. My father abandoned us before I was born. My mother abandoned me when I was nearly 8, At age 19 I went through a perotidectomy to remove a tumor, which left me again disabled. No familial support and I was hundreds of miles away from home. At age 22 the love of my life was taken in a catastrophic car accident. At age 28 I had a massive heart attack resulting from the depression of the loss of the only woman I would ever love to that extent. I died that day and the Lord sent me back here. I was alone that day. He is the only reason I am here. Then He brought back the memory of my lost love. To what end I do not know. Even getting permission to do her work has met with resistance. There is more but i think this is sufficient to make my point. I feel as though my only option is to wait to go home.

I certainly don't understand the pain and challenges you have gone through, and still go through, but Jesus Christ went through everything you have ever, and will ever go through. He really loves you and has given us these challenges, so that we can learn from them, and can bless those around us who are going through difficult things as well.

I know, without doubt, through my Faith, and Testimony in Jesus Christ my Savior, one day... He (My Savior and Brother) will lift me from the constant, endless, physical and mental pain I endure.
