To be honest I would rather have Profar than Soto, he was a liability in the outfield and he tends to go cold, while Jurickson has better chemistry with the team
Come on man I love profar but Soto is a different animal. Soto was getting on base all the time his teammate didn’t help him. So idk why u putting profar next to Soto 🤦🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️

Nobody else to play catcher though. Stephenson is hurt but they’re not reporting it for some reason - probably because they don’t have anyone in AAA to step in and backup

@@peterharris6409 no prob, I don’t think it’s serious bc they didn’t even designate for 10-day IL. Regardless of their confidence in anyone in AAA, if he was really hurt they’d have to make a move. I’m hoping he just tweaked something

As a Padres fan my biggest takeaway from this series is that the Reds' fielders hide their poor fundamentals with flashy plays; I checked and Statcast seems to agree
That’ll happen when you have 5 of your 9 starting fielders not playing. Marte, McLain, Freidl, CES and Stephenson all out and even Fraley has been sick so that also takes out one of our more serviceable backups as well. The fact that they’re floating around .500 with all that going on is a good sign imo

Yeah, Ha-seong's going through a bit of a slump the past week or two, but he did still contribute in this game. The only reason he didn't score a run was because he was the out at 2nd base on a double play that was avoided
