I don’t like Schneider at all, but I think you’re way off here. You’ve got a 1 run lead in the 9th and you want to walk Adley to get the tying run in scoring position? Hindsight is 20/20 and obviously he hits the HR to end the game, but you’ve got to pitch to him in the spot. That’s a terrible loss but you’ve gotta tip your cap to the O’s and not blame the manager there in that spot, IMO.

The Jays have played 30 games against teams better than .500, far and away the most in the majors. The O's and Yanks have played 19. Everyone has Philly at the top of their power rankings but they won ONE game against teams better than .500, ONE! The Jays are 13 and 17 against +.500 teams which isn't bad. I think as things start to even out, the Jays will climb. They are better than the Rays and the Red Sox, I'm sure of that.

@bugsyboy5323 Who's expectations? Yours? The ppl who built this team? Lol
He's still their best position player and has the most potential (at 25, even in his 6th season, he's the 2nd-youngest player on the team), so seeing him stroll down the 1st base line shouldn't actually infuriate you as much as other players, if you're being rational.
Ask yourself, if they had anyone better, why wouldn't they replace him? If he's "average at best", can you not recognize how bad this team is overall? It seems that ppl like you need someone to be mad at and he happens to be your whipping boy of choice.
You may not be able to see it, but this team has bigger problems than Vlad Jr not hustling to 1st.

@@NatTurnerswitBurnerz I realize that this team has more problems than Vlady, but there’s no denying that his stats have fallen off a cliff the last three years. For a player that was expected to be the cleanup hitter and drive-in 120+ runs with 40+ home runs he’s nowhere near that so say that he has been underachieving is an understatement.

I’m just watching the full game rn and in the 2nd inning not shown here, the plate umpire gives a couple very important calls to the Orioles. Calls a Jay out on a pitch out of the zone and in the bottom misses a strike 3 that was definitely more of a strike than the strikeout from the top of the inning. I think it was sub conscious home team bias. Obviously they don’t care who wins but they KNOW when they call close plays against the home team, there will be a chorus of boos. It’s just a couple pitches but they were so important they changed the flow of the game

8:52 so what happens when a fan touches the ball before it hits the fence again? Why do the umpires/league hate the Jays. Just leave it to the players to decide games thank you very much

It hit the pad above the wall first. No fan touched it (unless you saw an angle that MLB didn't have). Ball touching the top of the pad or railing= home run.

@@spoof1234 Yah the mlb ignored the fact the fan touched the ball. It is quite clear the guy in the black shirt and the Orange letters reached over the fence and touched the ball before it hit anything. You do know you can slow the clip to 0.25 speed right? You can see the ball change direction after it hit his hand/arm!! I am sure the umps just looked where the ball hit the pad with no regards to the fan interference. It is just another ump messing in Jays land. I think it was an umpire review so why didn't they mention the fan interference and chose to award the home run anyways? That would have been acceptable.

I seen this too in both replays. Clear fan interference. Should have been a deadball as per the rules
