This has always been one of my favorite features of Alanis. I've seen her live twice now, and my favorite moments are when she guitar duels her guitarist with the harmonica during "All I Really Want"

Simply one if the greatest albums ever made. Every single song on this album is like this. Catchy tunes, relatable and deep lyrics. You just kinda get this sense through the whole album that you could be her friend...or be her, lol. That's not even considering those vocals. You guys would absolutely LOVE Uninvited live. Please do that next.

When this album came out, I bought it. Loved it so much. I would sing it constantly. My Aunt bought a karaoke machine...well one day she made me sing the whole album in front of her friends. They were so impressed. I never felt so amazing in my life! That pushed me to not be afraid to sing in front of people. And I still do it till this day.

Jagged Little pill was one of the premier albums of the '90s. Very quirky but very relatable every song.
I saw her live this past September.. she is amazing. And that is her playing harmonica.

Yeah she is totally the, 'saying what I want, the way I want' kind of artist. And as art is concerned that is really healthy. A thing I've noticed about her voice... I don't know of another vocalist who just puts everything out there the way she does. It's not always the prettiest sound, but it seems to be coming from a place of genuine emotional content. I've always liked that about her singing.

Love the whole lp reminds me of happier times and a girl I was friends with for 30yrs, she had lots of problems ended up killing herself, this song brings pain and joy all at once, kinda like the lyrics.
First saw her on "You Can't Do That On Television" on Nickelodeon in late 80's/early 90's. The show that invented the Green Slime! Shout out Moose!

never in my life did i think i would be saying this lol... i cant wait too see Alanis Morissette this summer in our home town. I grew up on hard rock and metal and pushed this shit too the side back in the day. But 20 years later the lady was a beast back in the day. Legendary artist like her or not. Actually had a chance too met her a couple times over the years. Nothing official just bumped in to her around town. Shot the shit about what ever and the lady was sweet and very respectful. Would not have known who she was unless you knew. Cool chick

I love Alanis. I think Asia is really vibing a lot with Alanis this far in the Alanis journey. You can't go wrong with any song from that album... Jagged Little Pill. Also, for a song that's a little different from the vibe of that album, maybe check out the song Uninvited. It's a great dramatic powerful and deep slow song.
