- There is a hidden developer menu in the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S and this is how to access it. Please take care as you can render your device useless with some of the options available here. Make sure you know what you are doing.

I'm pretty sure this will brick your system if you don't own the key for the Dev Mode Microsoft sells for $20

And WHY do they have to sell it? Don't they make money from selling the games and taking a cut in the store? Just allow users to mess around with the hardware they BOUGHT FFS.

@@superslimanoniem4712is I'm pretty dure it's to discourage people from making efforts in illegally jailbreaking their console security by giving an easy and legal option, and make money in the process.
@@superslimanoniem4712 headwear and soft wear are very different things, anyone can buy the hard wear required to construct an Xbox but giving it the online access and making it all work is what software does to run apps and such. And they charged for it because now if jail breakers were to illegal mod the console their is a known about method to legally do it so essentially further prosecution can be brought upon those illegally modding consoles when their is a legal way to access it as opposed to if there was no way to access dev mode
It wont damage your console at all. Just turn off Dev Mode and you can play your xbox games again. Source is from Microsoft themselves

This can brick your system if you don't have the $20 key Microsoft sells. However if you did by the dev kit key, it can be a really handy tool for emulating games from the Wii and below

I did this a year ago and fucked my console up but luckily all I had to do was do a factory reset and redownload the games I played and thank fucking god none of my progress was erased in the games
This does work but you can't enable Dev mode without a license

You need a key to do this. Don't go showing this off to people. You have to download a Dev Mode activation kit.

When you mess up the sandbox thing, just go to the factory, reset options and reset without losing your games. You'll just have to resign in

This works but it doesn't work as well you would expect long time ago if you game sherd too many times you end up needing internet to play your digital game's and you can't make your account your home Xbox for a full year and through them setting you could reset it but unfortunately it doesn't work anymore if you try reset it but the developer settings still work
