How is that building empty? I know I visited there for a business purpose in the mid-2000s and there was a rather large marketing and ad agency taking up most of a floor in there and it was pretty nice. Not that long ago. It's a sturdy classic building. What happened?

There are currently an estimated 600,000 homeless people in the United States of America. The average expense to provide a single inmate's cost of living needs in jail is $30,000 to $40,000 per year. It would cost $21 billion dollars a year in taxes (at $35,000 per inmate for 600k inmates) to jail every single homeless person.
Let's see how that works out 😂💯
