There's a limited amount of players to start compared to GT7 and so the game has to compromise between filling lobbies and ranking well, that's my assessment of it I think the ranking system by itself is actually pretty good, I just think the fundamental flaw of Forza is that they keep it exclusive to Xbox, biggest mistake ever, if they opened it to playstation the game will flourish simply because of the number of players that exist on playstation. The raking system will be more effective and the racing will consequently improve. I genuinely think Forza is one of the best racing games out there, it kinda is the player base that lets it down imo

Something is definitely not right. When you're next to him you can hear the Porsche rapidly accelerating and going through the gears like it's nothing. I thought maybe he just made his gears super short to give his car rapid acceleration. But by that logic, he should've topped at like 120 mph on the straight. But he didn't. He was still well within the pace of you when you went to the pit. TL DR: Dude is cheating. Imagine cheating on Forza (of all games)
i call it "full rev" cheat. Once, in GT class, on short race Kyalami, dude in ford mustang outpaced me for 40sec. After watching the replay it was clear that he cheaats. Everytime he leaves the corner was on full rev, changing gears like machinegun. Dont understand these ppl...
The fastest dudes only beat you by 45 seconds IF that, starting in front of you. This dude was behind you after lap 1, didn’t pit and then beat you by 45 seconds
He saved his tires with proper technique. You're sliding everywhere on the track because your car has too much power. Wheel spin for days and sliding that rubber off even down the straights. Your car isn't built for corners and there are 72 corners on nurburgring. You're relying on straight line acceleration and speed to catch up and pass. He's not suspicious at all. His car is built for cornering.

You do know there are parts for cars that you can't buy in the store, right? Level 5 parts. High rpm turbo chargers, etc. Those make huge differences at the top end. Coming out of a corner faster than other cars is about gearing for that purpose. I've been playing since day 1, almost every day, and I've never seen a cheater in a love race. Plenty of bad drivers and bad sports, but no cheaters/hackers
100% Grip And Speed Hacking. But Unfortunately, There Are Quite A Few People Doing That In This Game But Only Giving Themselves A 5-10% Increase In Both Grip/Speed Trying To Fly Under The Radar.
I personally don’t understand why people would cheat. I love the competition of Forza. I could finish 24th/24 and be +5s behind the next cars and I’d be happy because I got to race other people.

At first I thought it was netcode (lag) judging by how his car was jittering, I thought, "how can he be cheating when he can't keep up with fair drivers" as you easily passed him, also his best lap was consistent with others... however, I think he was using a tire hack, judging by how he barely pit and when he did, it seemed out of obligation, as he didn't lost much time, perhaps his tires were indestructible
He was also using acceleration and grip hacks. Watch the mini map on the last lap when he gets onto the final straight. He blows past everyone and then pits at the end to make his lap time look legitimate and to finish 3rd.

I have to deal with this erratic driving in my time playing grid legends, grand Turismo, and sometimes need for speed. And ill tell you that this erratic driving you see like this is most deffentally cheating. The hyper acceleration says it all. And if hes at least in the top 3 yeah. For players like you and me who actually play clean and legit should know. For a guy like me, i always have suspicions about players who warrior into the top 2 in the first lap. I don't question him having cheated, but what about the first two guys? Tripple their best lap time for the three laps and you end up with a time higher than their race time. Am I missing something?
The first two guys got passed by the cheater before the end of the race, but the cheater went into the pits and then sat there until his lap time would look legitimate and the other top 2 drivers had passed him

@@zundermanni It prioritizes clean laps, so it's showing their clean lap time instead of whatever times they were running before that were probably faster, although they were dirtied at some point.
And this is why I absolutely hate crossplay. I'm not saying all PC players cheat, but every time I've come across someone doing it, no matter what game, their on pc.
It's possible to mod & cheat on Console too, maybe not as easy, but still possible, just saying, Forza motorsport 4 wasn't even on PC, and i already saw people cheating on leaderboards
i've seen some pretty scuffed and 100% cheated times in many racing games on console at one point i saw a -2000438939001.07 second run on the airport track in split second which isn't even close to the average time of 3min 30sec so i'm not surprised people cheat in forza to, just something that's bound to happen

@@ganove84 Problem is if these guys are driving right in front of you and you can't get past them. The problem is often not that they are slow, but that they deliberately block, break check and constantly switch from one side to the other. If they then have unfair advantages, it becomes difficult.
Lots of cheaters in "X" class and "P" class. "xXxgoonxXx" and xXxDoomxXx are sus. There 4 seconds faster than the lobby and there not on the rivals leaderboards.
They mentioned a long time ago the cap was based on your refresh rate, it keeps you around 60 but not explicitly. You can experiment with different rates using custom resolutions and you'll get some interesting results.

I don't question him having cheated, but what about the first two guys? Tripple their best lap time for the three laps and you end up with a time higher than their race time. Am I missing something?
The first two guys got passed by the cheater before the end of the race, but the cheater went into the pits and then sat there until his lap time would look legitimate and the other top 2 drivers had passed him
@@erraticgt Yeah sure, but *their* times don't make sense from my point of view. Or did the cheater "end the timer" so that *their* times are way too low?

@@zundermanni It prioritizes clean laps, so it's showing their clean lap time instead of whatever times they were running before that were probably faster, although they were dirtied at some point.

It's possible to mod & cheat on Console too, maybe not as easy, but still possible, just saying, Forza motorsport 4 wasn't even on PC, and i already saw people cheating on leaderboards

i've seen some pretty scuffed and 100% cheated times in many racing games on console at one point i saw a -2000438939001.07 second run on the airport track in split second which isn't even close to the average time of 3min 30sec so i'm not surprised people cheat in forza to, just something that's bound to happen
This actually happened to me a couple months ago same thing where he would shot off a corner the the braking was weird and we couldn't push him off the track or nothing i have the clip you if want to see it

The problem is often not that they are slow, but that they deliberately block, break check and constantly switch from one side to the other. If they then have unfair advantages, it becomes difficult.
Lots of cheaters in "X" class and "P" class. "xXxgoonxXx" and xXxDoomxXx are sus. There 4 seconds faster than the lobby and there not on the rivals leaderboards.

They mentioned a long time ago the cap was based on your refresh rate, it keeps you around 60 but not explicitly. You can experiment with different rates using custom resolutions and you'll get some interesting results.

because if they can enter modded, it is possible he put all engine into it and removed handling to keep it within spec, raceboy77 does this all the time where the car will rocket on straights but be useless in corners.
also, as far as tires go
most of your wear comes from cornering, when you consider how slowly he was taking the corners I can see how he was able to push the tires... barely, but I can see it happening.

Ive probably got 500 laps in total across various games starting with mod's from F1 2002 and GTR/GTR2 until recently (AC/PC1) and I make tons of mistakes still.
