They should do rolling starts in general for GT races. In FM7 I got taken out before the start line because the dude in front me said “F you whoever is behind me I’m not going” before they added ghosting to the starts
Never pay attention to the fuel messages on the top right, use the one beside the tire wear indicator. You had plenty of fuel and hadn't you short shifted for 3 laps and made the silly mistake before the banking you'd be second 🙂 Oh well, great race nonetheless despite the usual shenanigans, lol.
The C7 isn't even that bad... very easy to drive but lacks power and if driven well and right it can be an impressive car to race in. Just takes abit more work to drive that's all given its lack of power.
