Suellio has worked hard and is fortunate enough to have turned his sim racing into a career that got him enough money to invest in real racing but without that money he'd more than likely still be sim racing.
I feel you Suellio, I am also a sim racing starting like 3 years ago and I got my racing license last weekend and i cant wait to translate this all to the real world and show it to them

As I watched your videos and slowly learnt about your life, I grew a huge sense of admiration for your efforts, and now for your well deserved achievements in racing!
As a fan and player of Gran Turismo during my own youth (through PS1, PS2 and a bit of PS4), I was very satisfied to know Brazil has its own Jann Mardenborough analogue! I'm not into sim racing these days, but I can feel you really put yourself in everything you do, and I wish you the best!

Amazing footages. I am a hardcore Rally and GT fanboy who stays away from F1 stuff But if you start driving in F1 i might even start watching that.

Jann Mardenborough proved that Sim Racing can now finally translate to real world. Yes, it's still a rich man's game, but now the "underdogs" can get in with hundreds of hours of reflex training, muscle memory, knowledge of vehicle dynamics (even if theoretical) and track racing lines. The rich guys doing it old-school for the first time are now at the disadvantage. After that, real world will then be the final decider, it comes down who's willing to put in the dedication.

The thing is with racing if you dont start young in carting and work your way up there is almost no chance to get a seat, and that not talking about the money.
I started sim racing at 21 and went to real life at age 28. I never did any karting

When you are underpowered, don't overtake too early on a lon g straight unless you have to defend more from behind ;-)
It's like Max Verstappen said once..... The simracers have much more Practice then real Drivers, they can do Race after Race after Race whil real Racers just have 1 weekend to get warm with the Track and then comes the next Track and the rest of it to handle a Car is easier to learn then all the Tracks with all their Breakpoints and Roadbumps etc.....
Soon to bring even more Brazil to LeMans and the like. Força!

Hey just figured I would respond as I'm 32 myself. Its never too late to start, and you don't have to go pro to enjoy this sport. Get yourself a cheap kart and start racing your local kart series if you can save up for it. Its probably only $100-150 total every race weekend. That includes the fuel to get there and back, the kart, the fuel for the kart, all of that. Its challenging getting everything setup for it but its definitely the most affordable way to race. I sim raced for years and I wish I had done it a lot sooner because its so much fun even in the slow LO206 class. Its the most affordable to race. While the thrills from insane acceleration and Gforces might not be as high as other series the racing is SUPER close, you're always in a battle for the whole event. Its been a great way to dip my feet in IRL racing.
