I cannot say enough about Michael Hichborn’s honesty and integrity in his reporting. It is his extensive research that provided me the information to write my bishop in Cincinnati. Their Catholic Social Action office director responded with no rebuttal or specifics on what the information was portraying; nothing but word salad. I even offered a 1v1 to discuss each element, nothing but crickets. Send no money folks.
Not one more penny has been our policy since Bostons' debacle. The only way to know where your money is going is to give it for a specific need, ie. The Parish School or the 'New Roof' fund.
Catholic Charities is as Catholic as Luther or, lately, as Bergoglio. Is a misnomer. They are as Catholic as Federal are the Federal Reserve and Federal Express. ALL PRIVATE ENTITIES working for profit with a deceiving name.
Can Catholics donate to the CCHD or CRS in good conscience?
