Do you think that the traditional movement should accept being relegated to the faithful’s homes and private masses again? If not, what should traditionalists do?

Huh? How is earthly apostate Rome going to shut down the SSPX? No need to go back to hotels and gyms. The answer is before you. Archbishop Lefebvre squared off against the modernists in round one and beat them. Dont despise his gift to us.

Since Rome has broken away from the Church through heresy and Apostasy. Then yes, relegate the Holy Mass to the homes of the faithful while they build permanant Chapels, Churches, and Cathedrals to temporarily hold the offices of the Church. This would not constitute a break from Rome, but the restoration of Rome back to Christ the King.

The traditional movement is done if it submits to this tyrannical order. Traditional Catholics should stand up and speak out against this grave injustice. The Church is headed by Jesus. This Pachamama Pope Francis has revealed his true colors; it is time to wake up and resist him boldly.

It was perfect time to call out Our Pope. Pope has confussed, and hurt many families and caused separation of families due to his actions. Papa is a divider. Papa infuses confussion in our hearts and removers our loving priests and now our beloved Mass! No doubt Vigano prayed for a long time and I truly believe the Holy Ghost is guiding him(Vigano). I Trust I. Jesus and know without a doubt that Jesus, and a hosts of saints and angels are united with him as he stands before the pope that desires to continue causing confussion, division pain, and anger.

There is nothing of valor in being excommunicated from mother Church as without the Church, there can be no salvation. I pray that Vigano repents of his error and return to the obedience of the faith as disobedience has its roots in pride and ego.

Not a TLM only family. Just so attracted to the beauty, reverence. Makes it easir to believe and stay true to my faith. One son is almost TLM only, one is 50 50. Two religous Srs (our daughters) are novus ordo. The stupidest thing seems to be that the vatican is putting rocks and barricades in the fastest path to big faith filled Catholic families that believe in the true presence. How dumb does one get leading this Church? Grandpa Hill of Grandpa Hill's True Stories.

I think Archbishop Viganò is stating that he is just doing what Archbishop Lefebvre did; standing with tradition, whereas it seems as though Rome, under Francis, has lost the faith. At some point we need to realize that if Rome is teaching errors we need to do as St. Athanasius’ followers did, we need to stick with the men who speak the truth and teach the faith handed down by the Apostles.

Clearly, Catholics...Rundus' disagreement w Abp. Vigano aligning w the blessed Marcel Lefevre says it all. Disobedience is NECESSARY in times of crisis. I believe that Vigano will continue to be a voice for every traditional Catholic and those who know what is going on here. It's clear as a bell.

Hello! To be clear, I think Vigano aligning himself with Archbishop Lefevbre is absolutely a good thing and I admire his bravery and courage to be able to step away from a position of authority and power in order to learn more about traditional Catholicism and fight for it. However, I think he would benefit from the use of more precise language and added prudence when dealing with Rome, all things which Archbishop Lefevbre was so skilled at.
No matter what, a fellow traditional Catholic who is obviously aware of Archbishop Lefevbre and seeking to do the right thing deserves our prayers and support, but insofar as he aligns himself with correct, traditionalist principles. I believe in some sections of his communique, this was not sufficiently expressed, though as we said in the Roundup, he may add clarification later on.
Thanks for watching and may God grant you many joyful years,
      -Murray

I do not agree with your criticisms of Archbishop Vigano’s response, your criticism of Dr. Kwasniewski, and your criticism of “resistance”. If you have been following the writings of Archbishop Vigano you would have a clear understanding of his response. Referring to Galatians Ch 1, “But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach a gospel to you besides that which we have preached to you, let him be anathema. As we said before, so now I say again: If any one preach to you a gospel, besides that which you have received, let him be anathema. For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? If I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.” So, we have a duty to resist false teachings and teachers. Let us all pray for Archbishop Vigano and the One, Holy, Catholic, Apostolic Church.

Roman Emperor Constantine broke the traditional mass when he decided the latin mass would be the language of the church in the 4rth century. St.Martin, an early Christian bishop, stemming from the apostles was upset because Constantine was appointing bishops because they wanted power and didn't even believe in Jesus. Jesus doesn't want division in the church over a language. St.Francis of Asissi was told by Jesus that He wanted the church to be restored to the way it was in the days of the apostles. Vigano was causing problems for Pope Benedict Sixteen also when he wasn't promoted. Satan is working very hard to divide the church. Jesus said we will be judged on if we give drink to the thirsty, visit the imprisoned....not on if we use the latin language that nobody understands which has evolved into Italian decided by Roman Emperor Constantine who broke the tradition of Jesus's church.

Vigano was appointed by Benedict to the Vatican office that Cardinal Pell later held...they investigated the finances of the Church and the IOR (Vatican Bank). Both men came to bad circumstances as a result. Vigano discovered over 50 million dollars in hidden accounts in the bank that was supposedly broke. Benedict wanted him safe from the thieves who were a danger to Vigano if he stayed in Italy and appointed him Papal Nuncio to the US. Vigano was distraught.

What languages were on the sign above Jesus head on the crucifix? Hebrew LATIN and Greek.
Who translated the Bible into the LATIN vulgate? Saint Jerome.
Latin is the root of many of our English words my friend (think maternity and paternity for example). Pater noster is Latin for our father. Mater dei is mother of God.

Did you expect Pontius Pilate, the Roman governor, to put up a sign on the crucifix in English? Must we follow what the person who had Jesus killed did? St. Jerome came way after the time of the early christians. St.Francis was told by Jesus that He wanted the church to return to the way He set it up during the time of the apostles, not the time of St.Jerome.

The reason many languages have latin words is because the Roman Empire had conquered most of the world. It has nothing to do with Christianity..
