I think that would work but I haven't found a reasonably priced one here in Germnay. All of the “professional” turf equipment and accessories are grossly overpriced 😫
Ha ha! I laughed out loud when you said, “My condolences”!! My grown daughter said she and her daughter wondered what they were!! Just thought of something.. how about a tiny rake like they have for picking up dog poop?
Thank you sir! Broom works great when they are dry. It’s tough when they are mostly in shaded areas, takes a while for them to dry out not a ton you can do.
Hi Rob was wondering do you have the worm Castings activity in the winter months also ? Im still dealing with the castings but we really didn’t have a real cold winter southern New Jersey zone 7a wondering if this has something to do with the activity also wanted to tell you about this Asian worm dont know if you herd about these yet they call them jumping worms no good to the turfgrass i have the Tahoma31 if you have any activity in winter also ?
Hey bro. Yes, we had a warm winter as well and there are a lot of worm castings. I have a video coming out on how to clean everything up in a couple weeks! 💪🏾🌱
@@TurfTherapy i just started on my obsession with the lawn, it seems that i do have alot of warms and castings, but my soil is really wet clay so they real never seem to dry out, I'm glad you made this video I can't find anything else on u tube
You know clay soil gets a bad wrap but it can't be matched on its ability to store nutrients and maintain moisture. That's what I love about it! Unfortunately one of the downsides is the worms and the excessive moisture at times 😂 Thanks for watching bro and if you stick around I will to continue to bring you quality content 🙏🏾💪🏾🌱
yo! just found your channel! I'm an Aussie in France, not far from you! And finally good to see more European content, where we are cannot be obsessed with products like the US. I'd be interested to know your region in Germany.. on on the border with Germany in Alsace, and my worm castings are IDENTICAL to what you showed. I just went out with a wire style rake to get rid of some worm castings, but never thought to flip it over and use back side! I did notice it did rip up a lot of my newer grass (I did an overseed mid Sep).... I might have done less damage! I'm subscribed now and look forward to following! Usually, any products you can get in Germany - we can get in France - so I'll follow some of your recommendations for sure! Love the honest style of your vids mate!
That’s awesome man. I’m glad you found value in this video. It definitely caught me by surprise as I am new to lawn care in Europe myself. I hope you enjoy the content on the channel. Thanks for watching and taking the time to leave me a comment. ✌️🏾🌱
Thank you Turf for the great tip on your yard. How is little Turf doing i know he is getting big now. Have a good Fall it is getting cold here in S.C. When are you coming back to the States?
You're welcome. He's doing great and yes he is! You too and it's been chilly here for a couple of weeks already. In a couple of years if all goes as planned. 😁🌱
My man Turf! Solid video bro. I gotta get you some gloves 🧤 though bro if you going to play around in those castings. I can tell you from the country #SC 🤣 #weworkin
I never knew what that was - thought it was ants or something. Once the castings dry, can I use my dethatcher to do this? Now that I know what that is, it's gross😝
I think the detatcher tines would be a bit too aggressive for something like this. I'm going to look for a lawn sweeper to see if that works though. Thanks for watching 🌱
If I had a backpack blower, that might work, but my little handheld Ryobi won't cut the mustard 😆 and it would take me almost two hours to comb through my yard, bro. There are so many every 4-6 inches at its worst. Thanks for watching 💪🏾🌱
Another option if you have an Allett mower is to switch your roller on your mower to wheels which come with the mower and use the sweep / brush cartridge that can be bought. Roller will flatten them out which you don't want to happen. Still have to let the lawn dry first but does work. Just Striperman's two cents on the subject 👍💚🦸
Nope. Too thick bro. Not really soluble to that level until it dries out. It's a real pain in the butt. Not to mention adding more moisture to the problem.
Good stuff! Have you tried using a whipping pole? Golf courses use that to remove castings on greens
I think that would work but I haven't found a reasonably priced one here in Germnay. All of the “professional” turf equipment and accessories are grossly overpriced 😫
@@TurfTherapy ugh I bet. All the “pro” turf equipment is grossly overpriced

I've found that milorganite fertilizer promotes more worm activity than other fertilizers.
wireless ridgid vacuum with the broom attachment is my weapon of choice give it a try you will be surprised thank you for your tips brother!!!

You are Absolutely Correct! Thanks for watching 😁🌱
Good tips bro. Here’s another one: golf courses also use chili powder
Chili powder you say 😏
@@TurfTherapy yea I say ✌🏼😉

Cayenne pepper dissolved in water then use spray your lawn, it will prevent worm casting, moles and gophers.
What are the ratios, and how long would it last?
Dethatching rake..... but be gentle
True but I can move faster with the wire rake upside down when it's dry. Because I don't have to be gentle. Thanks for watching 💪🏾🌱

Good tips for the mounds. I brush them away with my shoe, but I'll have to try one of your tips.
Great tips! I’ve used all those options and I like the rake the best.
Yeah the rake was my favorite for sure bro!
Good tips Rob. Should I ever mow low I’ll remember this video
Thanks Bro! 💪🏾🌱

Hi two options - I used a blower on my big lawn and use a Afro comb to lift them on my small front lawn

Totally agree Bro, which is why I'm going to purchase a lawn sweeper this fall. As soon as the discounts kick in 😏😂🌱
@@TurfTherapy EGO makes a brush attachment for the string trimmer too

Will it work if you just hose them down, let the grass dry and then mow?
