Wasn't able to get it all the way back down because of worm castings in the Fall. But yes, I would have been mowing every day without a PGR ✌️🏾🌱

Yep, it will germinate without any issues. Just have to keep it moist. Golf Courses do it all the time!

Peace Brother, lawn looks fantastic. Great job. I'm currently in Baltimore MD, and my lawn has many dips and valleys. Just scalped, aerated, and overseeded. GCI Cool Blue. Lawn in looking pretty good, I have a grubs on top of waiting for my lawn to fill in. What should I use this next spring to help with my leveling? Sand or soil or a mixture of both?
It really depends on what your end goal is, bro. What's your current height of cut?
Quick question on an old video from last year concerning Anuew pgr. How long after your first full strength app until the poa triv turned white? I'm assuming you used GDD to determine your next application is that right?
I'm in north east ohio and having an on going battle with poa triv. I want to get an application down in the 6 to 8 weeks left in the growing season.
It took about 7-10 days when I did it in the spring in Northern MD. I did my second app about 4 weeks later and saw a good amount of suppression through the fall as well. Keep in mind that I didn't find it to control it but it did suppress its growth dramatically. If your situation is greater than 30% of your turf I would lean towards a full renovation using glyphosate and avoiding mechanically aerating for a few seasons if possible.

The TRIV has been a problem for years. Each time I think I've defeated it... it comes back like a horror movie. This spring I used a seed slicer which did a great jobbut I think it unleashed the beast as well.
Yeah breaking the soil surface is a roll of the dice with that stuff, because it's a shallow but vigorous stoloniferous root system. Another great indicator for identifying it is its rapid growth during the spring. It's usually easier to spot because of its accelerated growth and Lime green color. I have a much older video “awful in quality lol” on the complete breakdown of the plant. I'll link it here in a sec.

@@TurfTherapy the discouraging part was I smoked that area last fall then again early spring with 3 applications of glyphosate. With all of that it still came back

If I did this my lawn would be a beach. It is so bumpy. I had some really bad spots and used 50/50 compost type dirt and sand. That was a lot of work.
