Hi Dan, another great video! The process you are doing here we in Australia would call grooming. Hello Daniel, living in southern Sweden and I am so envious on your lawns. You get them lawns growing so dense and thick. In my lawn I can see the sandy loam between the grass everywhere even after a season with love, care, sweat and tears. I have areated, verticutted and leveled off an old lawn and dressed the lawn (without care for 15 years). I am putting on granulated fertilizer regularly, giving Iron 2-3 times a season and cutting every 2-3 days on 20-25 mm. I have reseeded parts of the lawn but my problem is that new grass have difficulty growing. The ground is a sandy loam and the lawn have not seen any organic material in a long time so I presume that water and fertilizer is going more or less straight through without having the chanse to help the little grass that is growing there. My question is, it is the last week of september but would it be beneficial for the grass to dress the lawn this late in the season to help restoring organic matter into the lawn for the next coming season?? Would love your opinion on this matter. (really southern Sweden, expecting first frost mid november).
