I'm glad you said what you did about having too many photo's with your friends in them. I've found that on a fair few dating profiles of women they have all photos of them and their friends and at the end it's a weird "which one are you?" feeling.
There are other folks that offer analysis, but few do it with the same intelligence and kindness that you offer here while also maintaining honesty. This could be a revenue stream in its own right if you wanted to go that way.
A real honest answer would be to advise men not to leverage dating apps. They are just about the worst bang for your buck in terms of time spent vs. tangible output.

I would disagree. I met my wife on bumble, and 6 months into our marriage, 2 years into the relationship, I could not be happier. Now, did I have to work on myself before I ended up being ready for a lady of her caliber? Absolutely. I was a hot mess after my last relationship. But once I was ready, dating sites really are the way to go if you know what you're looking for.

Dating app girls are not quality to begin with. They are hypergamous and freaky by nature, which is why they use dating apps in the first place. Either that or just unattractive, which is why they couldn't get enough male attention IRL.

Many many years ago I used to work at an online dating company processing photos. We had our file of 'favorites' of all time awful pics! One of them showed a framed picture on a coffee table. Even worse was that the angle was off so you couldn't even see what was in the framed pic! Then there were the pics taken so far away you couldn't even see the person. One was a gal standing in front of a hill.....about a quarter of a mile away. Then there were the pics where you couldn't tell just *who* the person was since they were surrounded by friends who look like them. Example, "I'm an Asian gal with shoulder length black hair and brown eyes." This caption with a photo of a group of Asian gals with shoulder length black hair and brown eyes.... * sigh *
When it comes to group photos, it's actually quite easy to identify which one is the profile owner. Just look for the most unattractive one in the group.

What if it's not a reflection of who you are? Anyone can get a professional photo done for the purposes of getting more matches on a dating app, but few are truly interested in photography. If anything, it's a misrepresentation.

Good video. Give a positive and humorous description of yourself, with a few pictures of you that are in agreement with your bio. Better a full photo of you alone, wearing some cool clothes and having a good haircut, and also some other photos with a few friends doing a fun activity. Wearing sunglasses is a no-no because they hide part of your face. Be honest on your profile so as to avoid disappointments when you meet each other in person.
I gave up on dating apps. Had a profile in one. Only girls from the other side of the planet with 20 year old photos and filtered photos asking for money, not puting any effort to even see you on camera or in person.
Yes, this is the reality. Raw composition of male to female in dating apps has only continued to skew male over time. I wouldn't be surprised if someone told me that 90% of dating app users are male today. That's why you're getting matched with people so far away. If you were female, you'd have thousands of matches right at your doorstep.

I notice this RUclips channel a year back I think and I remember it was interesting. I’m coming back and just gotten to a huge mess of getting into a relationship I wanted, but I had so much insecurities and skeptical about my girlfriend. It was a long distance relationship so we had a few things going, but some things like me wanting to be able to hold hands and hug are small but important things I wanted and I waited for nearly a year. It all built up over a couple things to eventually me believing I wouldn’t cheat on my girlfriend until it happened. It was what broke the relationship. I usually felt a little lost and so many little things like, I don’t know how to give my girlfriend attention when she needed it and I felt like both each other’s boundaries were broken. I was usually the one and only the one making conversation. Sometimes I made too much serious conversation because I wasn’t much of a small talker sometimes. She didn’t like it and always told me to not get into something I want to discuss since I’m the one starting a conversation. It made me feel neglected like how I neglected her emotional feelings as well. I really do miss her a lot, but I know that it is usually better to separate at this point. I have this strong abandonment issue with wanting to stay to fix what I have done to hurt her heart. I want to heal it, but on the other hand I feel like that will take years or long to fix that in someone. I don’t want to waste each other’s time if we’re gonna keep it unhappy and uncomfortable like a rock.

The problem in 2022 is that companies have stopped hosting real life events because of online. However, women are hardwired to take into account a range of variables when selecting a date such as body language, confidence, eye contact etc, none of which can be effectively viewed online. All they have to go on is a small number of pictures. Its logical to think that just as many women as men get dates due to the fact that a heterosexual couple contains man and woman. However, most women make no effort online so there's only a small number of women participating and a lot of men. What happens now is they get more picky every year. If you haven't got model looks forget it, she won't reply to any of your messages or initiate. Theres also not many singles events to go to, at least where I live.
No matter what profile you do guys if you’re not a 10 you’ll only attract 6’s and below on these dating apps for the most part. Unless you’re still 18-24and in the hookup culture. Still the 90% of women only choose 10% of men if that. Might be more like 2% on dating apps.
No shirtless mirror photos! Or really, any shirtless photo that isn't at the beach or by a pool. It's try-hard and weird. Unless you're just looking for a hookup, you're sending the wrong message and probably attracting the wrong woman.

Given all the catfishes, horror stories and bad experiences from dating apps, it's surprising that people still use them. Long-distance relationships rarely work out by most accounts so pursuing one is futile and risky. If you want to find a partner in your own city, you'd either have to be a lazy simp or plain desperate to break the ice from behind a screen instead of having the guts to do so in person. For someone who says "be confident" a lot, so much for that with dating app users. Unless it's LinkedIn, most people make up BS just to seem more presentable. If you were truly confident, you wouldn't need dating apps nor a woman to review your profile.

Get them done from someone who specializes in cosplay photography. I used to go to nerd conventions and some of the photos done for cosplay done by people who knew what they were doing really elevated the cosplay. Nerdy girls that you have things in common with will appreciate it.
Thats a long profile? I have a very different opinion on that. I mean that's barely enough to get even the tiniest idea of who this person is. I usually read but skip over women's profiles that are that sparse. Kind of sounds like the profile shouldn't be any more than a short pickup line basically? Idk maybe my thought process is backwards, but I like it when women have long profiles. The more i can find out from their profile the more I can figure out if I'm even interested in contacting them or not. I mean I feel like the biggest potential advantage of online dating is that you can find out a lot of important stuff about a person without needing to go through multiple dates or texting back and forth to find out if you are even remotely compatible. Perhaps I'm in the minority on that one though, but if I see literally one line written on a profile, I assume it was generated by an automated scam bot because that is absolutely a thing. Especially if the pictures are of a really traditionally beautiful woman, that means it's probably a bot generated fake profile.

I know people say it all the time, but this is one of the only times you will be surrounded by like-aged, like-minded people who are going through a shared experience together. The shared experience part is HUGE because it gives you a natural connection point, meaning pretty much no approach on campus is truly "cold". Once you start working, it's more difficult to meet people. First off, I would highly suggest not dating people in the workplace as this gets messy. Also people in the workplace are all over the place in terms of age and stage of life.

Statistically, the average person these days has something like 2 or 3 people that he/she can actually call a friend, down from something like a dozen only a couple decades ago. There was a chart on it somewhere and you can find it if you look, but that's current reality.
Your best chance is obviously night clubs and bars... The only thing I hate about going to clubs for women is that I have to wear ear plugs if I don't want to risk hearing damage.

If you can match with a girl on a website, so can 1,000 other dudes. Most likely, even if she is serious, she will meet up and get into a relationship with one of them, LONG before she ever gets to your message. Even in a perfect world, you still have to learn some form of game, and be able to interact and seduce women face-to-face. So, master those skills, *first*, and then, if you are still running low on women, set up an online profile. Seriously... any women you meet online should be the gravy part of dating, rather than the meat and potatoes of your dating life.

I will say all your advice is amazing but personally, that guy with the cross tattoo I would say is fine. Some people don't like tattoos or are not religious so it is showing that which could be a deal-breaker. By showing your tattoos you can weed out people who may not be into the tattoo or what it represents. Maybe advice for him is to take a more flattering/interesting photo where that tattoo is visible so it does the job but also isn't a waste.
A lot of these guys with bad bio, just sound desperate to be honest. If y’all truly work on yourself, you don’t need to say much but keep it real of who you are that’s it. What if it's not a reflection of who you are? Anyone can get a professional photo done for the purposes of getting more matches on a dating app, but few are truly interested in photography. If anything, it's a misrepresentation.

Good video. Give a positive and humorous description of yourself, with a few pictures of you that are in agreement with your bio. Better a full photo of you alone, wearing some cool clothes and having a good haircut, and also some other photos with a few friends doing a fun activity.

I gave up on dating apps. Had a profile in one. Only girls from the other side of the planet with 20 year old photos and filtered photos asking for money, not puting any effort to even see you on camera or in person.
Yes, this is the reality. Raw composition of male to female in dating apps has only continued to skew male over time. I wouldn't be surprised if someone told me that 90% of dating app users are male today. That's why you're getting matched with people so far away. If you were female, you'd have thousands of matches right at your doorstep.

I notice this RUclips channel a year back I think and I remember it was interesting. I’m coming back and just gotten to a huge mess of getting into a relationship I wanted, but I had so much insecurities and skeptical about my girlfriend. It was a long distance relationship so we had a few things going, but some things like me wanting to be able to hold hands and hug are small but important things I wanted and I waited for nearly a year. It all built up over a couple things to eventually me believing I wouldn’t cheat on my girlfriend until it happened. It was what broke the relationship. I usually felt a little lost and so many little things like, I don’t know how to give my girlfriend attention when she needed it and I felt like both each other’s boundaries were broken. I was usually the one and only the one making conversation. Sometimes I made too much serious conversation because I wasn’t much of a small talker sometimes. She didn’t like it and always told me to not get into something I want to discuss since I’m the one starting a conversation. It made me feel neglected like how I neglected her emotional feelings as well. I really do miss her a lot, but I know that it is usually better to separate at this point. I have this strong abandonment issue with wanting to stay to fix what I have done to hurt her heart. I want to heal it, but on the other hand I feel like that will take years or long to fix that in someone. I don’t want to waste each other’s time if we’re gonna keep it unhappy and uncomfortable like a rock.

The problem in 2022 is that companies have stopped hosting real life events because of online. However, women are hardwired to take into account a range of variables when selecting a date such as body language, confidence, eye contact etc, none of which can be effectively viewed online. All they have to go on is a small number of pictures. Its logical to think that just as many women as men get dates due to the fact that a heterosexual couple contains man and woman. However, most women make no effort online so there's only a small number of women participating and a lot of men. What happens now is they get more picky every year. If you haven't got model looks forget it, she won't reply to any of your messages or initiate. Theres also not many singles events to go to, at least where I live.

No matter what profile you do guys if you’re not a 10 you’ll only attract 6’s and below on these dating apps for the most part. Unless you’re still 18-24and in the hookup culture. Still the 90% of women only choose 10% of men if that. Might be more like 2% on dating apps.

Given all the catfishes, horror stories and bad experiences from dating apps, it's surprising that people still use them. Long-distance relationships rarely work out by most accounts so pursuing one is futile and risky. If you want to find a partner in your own city, you'd either have to be a lazy simp or plain desperate to break the ice from behind a screen instead of having the guts to do so in person. For someone who says "be confident" a lot, so much for that with dating app users. Unless it's LinkedIn, most people make up BS just to seem more presentable. If you were truly confident, you wouldn't need dating apps nor a woman to review your profile.

Get them done from someone who specializes in cosplay photography. I used to go to nerd conventions and some of the photos done for cosplay done by people who knew what they were doing really elevated the cosplay. Nerdy girls that you have things in common with will appreciate it.

Thats a long profile? I have a very different opinion on that. I mean that's barely enough to get even the tiniest idea of who this person is. I usually read but skip over women's profiles that are that sparse. Kind of sounds like the profile shouldn't be any more than a short pickup line basically?
Idk maybe my thought process is backwards, but I like it when women have long profiles. The more i can find out from their profile the more I can figure out if I'm even interested in contacting them or not. I mean I feel like the biggest potential advantage of online dating is that you can find out a lot of important stuff about a person without needing to go through multiple dates or texting back and forth to find out if you are even remotely compatible. Perhaps I'm in the minority on that one though, but if I see literally one line written on a profile, I assume it was generated by an automated scam bot because that is absolutely a thing. Especially if the pictures are of a really traditionally beautiful woman, that means it's probably a bot generated fake profile.

Being all suited up isn't necessarily a negative, but it does come across as overly formal and is really more appropriate for a LinkedIn photo. I'd say if you really wanted to show the professional look, better to just have a dress shirt and pants on but drop the suit and tie.

I know people say it all the time, but this is one of the only times you will be surrounded by like-aged, like-minded people who are going through a shared experience together. The shared experience part is HUGE because it gives you a natural connection point, meaning pretty much no approach on campus is truly "cold". Once you start working, it's more difficult to meet people. First off, I would highly suggest not dating people in the workplace as this gets messy. Also people in the workplace are all over the place in terms of age and stage of life.

Statistically, the average person these days has something like 2 or 3 people that he/she can actually call a friend, down from something like a dozen only a couple decades ago. There was a chart on it somewhere and you can find it if you look, but that's current reality.

If you can match with a girl on a website, so can 1,000 other dudes. Most likely, even if she is serious, she will meet up and get into a relationship with one of them, LONG before she ever gets to your message. Even in a perfect world, you still have to learn some form of game, and be able to interact and seduce women face-to-face. So, master those skills, *first*, and then, if you are still running low on women, set up an online profile. Seriously... any women you meet online should be the gravy part of dating, rather than the meat and potatoes of your dating life.

I will say all your advice is amazing but personally, that guy with the cross tattoo I would say is fine. Some people don't like tattoos or are not religious so it is showing that which could be a deal-breaker. By showing your tattoos you can weed out people who may not be into the tattoo or what it represents. Maybe advice for him is to take a more flattering/interesting photo where that tattoo is visible so it does the job but also isn't a waste.
A lot of these guys with bad bio, just sound desperate to be honest. If y’all truly work on yourself, you don’t need to say much but keep it real of who you are that’s it.
