Yo! Where was this filmed? Tyler? My parents are cracking up, and he recently shot with a restaurant in Newtown, so we're wondering if it's in the Philly burbs area!
Growing up watching Andrew he inspired me to go to culinary school, I’ve only been playing disc golf for a year and seeing him like this has just completed my life in ways I can’t express…
Man, Andrew is a treat. He doesn't get to into the weeds and worry about things that don't really matter. The man just loves disc golf and it's evident. I'm so happy to have him as a celeb ambassador for our sport. Keep rippin' em Andrew.
wow , I am a 34 year old chef at a chain steakhouse , and I would say Andrew. Emeril, and Alton brown have absolutely shaped my chef life , and at the same time I am an avid disc golfer for about 18 years nows , this video just absolutely tickled my fancy , hearing Andrew describe a disc for more "tender and delicate" shots really made me smile!
We need more content from the senior, 80s, 90s era players. Most of the MP60 and MA60+ guys have awesome historical knowledge and they are all characters. Most of them are in really great shape too.
@@seymourglass26 Maybe if you hate trees? Like you're just out there to assault them mercilessly, lol. Or if you buy discs just to intentionally lose them, littering plastic everywhere? Just a couple of thoughts.
@@seymourglass26 I think too many people that discover disc golf these days immediately decide to compete or try to go pro and never experience the joy of just relaxing and playing a casual game outside with their friends. It’s a job for them from day one. I’ve been playing almost as long as Andrew and I’ve never played a tournament. I like that he is able to show people that you can do this just for fun. You don’t have to make it stressful and competitive. There are plenty of RUclips videos out there teaching perfect form and telling people how to go pro and I think that can actually intimidate people or make them think disc golf isn’t for them. We need more content like this that shows people disc golf can just be relaxing and fun too and it doesn’t matter if you’re good at it. It’s just fun and that’s ok.
@craigcampbell1843 while I get the jist of what your saying, I think you can want to be better at disc golf without being competitive. I play almost exclusively solo rounds but I love watching form vids and practicing when I get the chance. It's not about being overly competitive, it's the enjoyment of improving and being able to look back and see the improvement over time.
@@craigcampbell1843 I hear that. It's true that a lot of disc golf content people make it into the struggle to get longer, to putt better, to improve form, etc. If that's all I cared about, the game would be less enjoyable in a lot of ways.
I love the absolute anarchy of his bag, and what he labels the disc functionally. This is true blue old school in terms of him having clearly resisted focusing on any one manufacturer as well as just throwing any particular mold for whatever he wants to regardless of its original intention. Just love of the disc and the game!
It's really cool to see someone who's a big name in the culinary world. I myself am a fellow disc golfer and culinarian. I'm also a forearm specialist like him and throw a lot of Innova like Andrew does. Disc golf is a great relief on days off after working stressful days in the kitchen. After starting out as a dishwasher 20 years ago I've still been a line cook for the last 16 years. Cheers!
There are many ways to grow the sport. Having well known celebrities who love the game sharing content about their experiences and passion for the game can do so much to do just that. Love hearing about people who you wouldn't think love the game that are hooked on disc golf too. "Dead a less" is priceless. Keep throwing Sir!!
Andrew Zimmerman is such a cool personality! I love watching his many cooking and foody type show. I have only been playing disc golf for a few months now, and it's very cool to see that he can relate with his passion for the game. He even throws a few of the same discs that I enjoy as well. One of the best in the bag videos I have seen, and I can totally relate to many of the things he said. lol
This is one of the most wholesome videos I’ve ever seen. Always loved Andrew, and it’s such a fun thing to see someone you look up to who happens to share a hobby at such a deep level.
Hiya. I would say this is the most fun and honest "In the Bag " I have ever seen. Having fun is the most important , and yes confidence in your discs is great. Have a great year.
I literally JUST listened to the "With Friends Like These" episode featuring Andrew, it was so cool to hear him (briefly) mention having taken up disc golf.
He is definitely on top of the list for celebrities I want to play with, I highly recomend the video he did with Casey White and the podcast episode he did with Brian Earhart on the Flight diaries
It was a joy to watch your in the bag Andrew. My wife and I have seen all your Bizarre Foods and love anything you partake in. Can't say enough how giddy we are to know you are a die hard disc golfer and love the game as much as we do!
Cool to see a fellow forehand throwing, 20+ year player, and pick up some good tips! You should try a Discraft Heat, I think it’s the perfect fairway driver that feels like a midrange and takes any line you put on it.
This is fantastic. Such a genuine human being. And what an eclectic bag! On another note, what is that bin he has in his trunk that those extras fit perfectly in? I need one of those in my life.
Had no clue that he played Disc Golf until Funky Farm. So, when I found out he was doing an In The Bag. Had to watch. It would be awesome to see him throw more. Seeing that he's thrown for 28 years, the wisdom and the humor of Disc Golf Wizardry is evident.
For real, we really should be pushing the mental health aspects of the sport more prominently. 99.9% of people can't ball golf every day, but disc golf is accessible almost everywhere - just get a portable basket, block real life out, and make yourself .25% better every day!! As a business owner, I can't even imagine how I'd feel without DG in my worst moments.
I did recognize him from TV waaay back sometime (I've never used a screen of any type as a TV personaly since moving out), he says 28 years since he started playing, that seems to coincide with him seeking/taking care of an addiction problem back in the 90's. I do believe that being addicted is often not bad in it self but how it affects others, this is a great place to put in the disc golf or any other hobby making you itch to get out in nature by yourself or with others. Loved this ITB!
I've always loved this dude, all the way back to the good old days on Travel Channel. He's just funny, informative and seems like a sweet guy. To know he enjoys the sport we do makes me feel good.
Wonderful ❤ you can tell he has experience by his choice of discs, very balanced bag and of course the gourmet snacks 💚 I assumed nothing else from a real chef 👨🍳
Very interesting to see the bag of an OG, be it not a pro, player. Real world experience right here kids! Few of us, watching this, will ever be on JoMez or Gatekeeper, so the insight from an avid, experienced, casual player is invaluable! 😮 Great content, right here. Thank you.
Super am style bag setup. But ya can't help but smile when you can see how much he clearly loves the game. I would never store plastic in my car like that tho.

Absolutely the most relatable "In the bag" ever. Love this guy and love this video. Whoever thought to make this video needs a raise.
"I have no business throwing these", VERY relatable lol!
@@Ran-tan-tan Hey, you never know when you'll run into a 40 mph headwind, right?
Disc golf needs more brand ambassador’s like Andrew, what a stand up guy.
Growing up watching Andrew he inspired me to go to culinary school, I’ve only been playing disc golf for a year and seeing him like this has just completed my life in ways I can’t express…
Dude me too!
Welcome to the family.
You got to find the celebrity doubles round with him playing. It’s great! When I was watching it I felt like how you said.🤡
I feel that way when I watch Robbie C videos and see all of the board games in the background.
The crossover I never thought I wanted, but this is amazing. Andrew just gets more interesting and cool as time goes on.
"let's be honest I'm a terrible player, despite the fact I've been playing for 28 years" 😂😂 that hits deep! Great video!
Man, Andrew is a treat. He doesn't get to into the weeds and worry about things that don't really matter. The man just loves disc golf and it's evident. I'm so happy to have him as a celeb ambassador for our sport. Keep rippin' em Andrew.

Lots will be at the rochester ny event- Jim Palmeri's 50th American Flying Disc Open.
Love this man and love his passion for discgolf. He loves it for all the right reasons.
Sir, what exactly are the wrong reasons to love disc golf? Haha. Just foolin'.

As a chef and a disc golfer this in the bag is so cool to watch! Andrew Z. Is a gem of a human and always a pleasure to watch him.
Haha! I normally avoid “in the bag” videos, but this was super relatable. I love this!

As one of my all time favorite celebrity chefs, I absolutely love the fact he plays and has such a diverse bag!!!!!

Best in the bag I've seen! More celebrity in the bag videos gotta come

I LOVE this so much!!! this is the content I didnt even realize i wanted... celeb in the bags forever please.
Never did I expect a disc golf reference to Igunaq in a video. Love Andrew's passion!
He is definitely on top of the list for celebrities I want to play with, I highly recomend the video he did with Casey White and the podcast episode he did with Brian Earhart on the Flight diaries
Love his episode of the Flight Diary. He's an amazing storyteller and his story about how disc golf saved him from addiction is so inspiring.
It was a joy to watch your in the bag Andrew. My wife and I have seen all your Bizarre Foods and love anything you partake in. Can't say enough how giddy we are to know you are a die hard disc golfer and love the game as much as we do!
Thanks for the shout out! 🙌🏻
What’s in the bag just turned into what’s in the Santa Sack holy cow. Love you Andrew
This dude is more into disc golf than I am and I've been playing consistently since 08. Love to see this kinda stuff
I've seen every in the bag on RUclips and this is the best one
Cool to see a fellow forehand throwing, 20+ year player, and pick up some good tips! You should try a Discraft Heat, I think it’s the perfect fairway driver that feels like a midrange and takes any line you put on it.
Love waking up at 5AM while traveling to squeeze in a round!
Did this during a business trip 2 months ago!
I think hqnds don favorite in the bag segment ever lol lets go Andrew!
This was absolutely fantastic!! Seriously this dude is funny.
End of the video is the best, and the whole video is great cause Andrew Zimmern

Andrew rules. Great and relatable In The Bag!
"The most important title other than dad"... I dig your style man.
Thanks for sharing andrew! shoulda got some shots of him throwing some of the discs as he is describing them

easily the best in the bag ive seen and such badass old discs
So awesome!!!
my first disc of my own was a Cro, and I never saw anyone else throw them. Very cool to see Andrew liking the Cro as well.
This is awesome!! Thanks Gatekeeper!
Yes! More celebrity bags and diff age groups
the in the bag video we all needed
This is amazing!
Huge fan of Andrew, and it's so cool that he's into disc golf.
Awe, good to see Andrew!
I love that this exists!
Nice he putts with the magic. I love that putter. Gateway has a lot of good molds to try but their putters are amazing
Andrew, you did not film this in Minny. We still have a 1/2 a foot of snow on the ground. HA! Where do you like to play when in MN?
Best in the bag yet
Love the TL3 love! One of my favorite discs that doesn’t get the recognition it deserves
Loving that 20 year old Elite-Z XS in the bag and that AquaTerra on the wrist. This man has style.

Yes! Minnesota man getting even more interesting! He's always doing a great job promoting good people and good causes.
I knew Andrew played but had no idea he’s that into it. Respect
I love seeing celebs in disc golf. This sport has a way of grounding anyone.
That was a great vid! Like others, I spent a lot of my high school days watching Andrew on Bizarre Foods and playing disc golf. An awesome combo ❤
the cro is my fav too!! always lands where i want
Awesome! I've talked to you at the State Fair during Dan Barreiro'show... Favorite course in the Twin Cities?
best in the bag ive seen!

Awesome. Think I'm going to check out the R-Pro Cro.
Great show. Good job getting this done.
Good advice for the most part!! Great person to see on the course
This was great.
I loved watching this
Great cooking and disc golf life's finest passions
does he not know you can just google his membership number? lol
I'm super-interested, partially because he's played so long and can literally get whatever disc he wants. The man lives a good life.
Great video! Thanks for giving us a peak
I love that he bags FPO discs!
Very interesting to see the bag of an OG, be it not a pro, player. Real world experience right here kids! Few of us, watching this, will ever be on JoMez or Gatekeeper, so the insight from an avid, experienced, casual player is invaluable! 😮 Great content, right here. Thank you.
Awesome Video!
Woah! Andrew was already a personal favorite person from media... BUT NOW! Not only does he play disk- he has an entire warehouse in a trunk.
Awesome!
Super am style bag setup. But ya can't help but smile when you can see how much he clearly loves the game. I would never store plastic in my car like that tho.
Awesome stuff.
10:09 Don’t forget to bring a towel!
That was a fun one.
88420 is his number lol. He proud of the 420😂😂
I like everything this Chef is cooking: A perfect thrower, with faulty discs, and a hot new Gatekeeper hoody. I'll take seconds, please.
Bizarre disc ! This is great . Thanks
Probably my favorite in the bag ever now.
We play if your disc lands on another you owe that person a beer😂😂😂
I order EVERYTHING in 2's, and now I am validated! Sweet, sweet celebrity catharsis. 😁
Such a genuinely nice person who has a true love for the sport. It’s awesome to see!
Andrew, you missed your calling as a comedian. Great video and love it when I see you pop up on food network judging.
Absolutely love this!! Most controversial statement of the season, best in the bag all year 🤔
stoked to see the vroc! lets goo
Dude knows his stuff. What a legend. ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
