GK Pro & OTB did a side challenge at one of their skins fan experiences on a par 2 course. It was a cool idea where top armature scores got to play a round against 2 pros (Bell and Barsby) and if the am would they would get $2k. I could see them doing a small event here and it getting some views.
Thanks for coming to Austin for The Open and squeezing our gems like the Flying Armadillo into your schedule. Austin is for sure a special place for disc golf and lots of other fun activities!
I started watching you because of Simon. You are a great RUclips personality for disc golf. Keep focused and success will keep coming. You are legitimately great
My dude, I came to watch the course and to respect your dedication to the sport. And I stayed for your story of it all and your recent rounds. I have a much higher respect for you and am more interested in following your rounds. I appreciate you, my dude. Thank you for your content.
This is my favorite course I've ever played. I used to live right by it when I was barely getting into disc golf. I wish I had known how good I had it being right by there!
So glad to see pro playing and APPRECIATE this type of course. The gimmick hole is my first and most aced hole out there I think I’ve done it 7-8 times 🤩
This is cool, it more like what Minigolf is to Golf. Something you can go with your family and they dont need to have played before, its still gonna be fun.
Great video Casey. And in all honesty, what you described about not every hole having to be a huge Par4 bomber hole and enjoying the smaller challenges with the fun little specialities... This also applies to disc golfers. It's not just about the handful of guys sitting on lead card every week. And your honest perspective and insight and just general refreshing attitude is just as valuable for disc golf as a whole as those other guys. You certainly belong to professional disc golf so I hope you just keep doing what you do :)
So cool to see ya playing this course. I remember helping lay the green in hole 16 when it first opened. Hope ya got to see more of the magic San Marcos has, it's an incredible community.
Bro not gonna lie, first time watching your channel. Ive always liked you but have always seen you on someone else’s channel. Im glad I stumbled on to yours. One of my favorite breakdowns of an event to date. Looking forward to more of your content!
This course is awesome. I make the drive from San Antonio often. Good shop, nice folks, putt putt is a blast, the main course is fun and unique, and I think every hole has 3 Tee pads and multiple basket layouts. Very cool!
Yeah, super fun course. I like to take my kids there. Managed to Ace hole 2 the blind hyzer shot, the Lighthouse hole and then I've aced the tank hole twice. Love it!
That's a neat course. Gives me some ideas about creating an indoor version of that for the colder states up north. Would be great for winter practice and just general fun times.
I enjoyed this intimate vlog. At my age and bad knees I do not play disc golf. I do like watching you guys show the right stuff. Woods golf is the best. Cheers from 🇨🇦
I know you've played Corbin in Idaho, but about 40 mins away is farragut disc golf compound. 5 full size, extremely nice disc golf course with hole 1 starting at the parking lot for each, and 1 full 18 hole par 2 course. Made two birdies last time we played this last Saturday ❤
Such great content Casey. Your good nature and love for the sport comes through in this one. Might have to find a way to road trip out there with some friends one of these days.
This is my favorite course to play on a day when you dont have anything else to do, play the long course then play the mini a couple times. They also do nighttime minis every Friday night. Grab your best glow disk and go for as many aces as you can get!
After you play OTB, you should check out Browns & Bows. Three courses with 4 layouts. Sharlotte's Web is a skill shot course with Marksman baskets. Holes average 140 feet; from a short of 84 to a long of 246. It's a private P2P course set in the gorgeous Sierra foothills and is meticulously maintained. It's only 2 hours north of the OTB venue. Well worth the trip.
I love hearing pros talk about making the sport fun. It doesn't have to be 400ft+ par 3s. There should be some fun and quirkiness to the sport. I don't know how much you liked them, but the unique greens at Belton (turtle back and lions eye), is what made that course different
I caddied for you during the rainy round at Portland Open last year, and that was the highlight of my disc golf year by far! If you want a caddy for BSF or even Cascade Challenge, just hmu ;)
Two lighthouse aces, ohhhhhhhh yeah. The regular 18 has some great holes as well. The bells on hole 12 were what some of us old school guys had to use as targets for years. Hope you make it to the Grange (now The Blockhouse) Tiki course in Virginia. Sooooo fun.
Hey Casey, my name is Sterling too and I am from Texas. I have played flying armadillo multiple times, it’s my pops favorite course. Thanks for the video good luck brother
My friends and I played this course last year for the first time. Apparently I had the C-Virus at the time, had a headache all day. We played both courses and I had an absolute blast. The par 2 is quite a bit different even from a year ago.
If you haven't gotten to Tallahassee yet, stop off at the blue angel recreational park in Pensacola. 3 excellent challenging wooded courses on 1 property.
I have played this course at least 100 times and it makes me sad that you aren’t looking at all the cool details through out the property 😢 still glad you got to go though
Need a course like this near us in Palm Beach! This is how you get kids into the game. 200ft is even too far for my kids right now. Doesn’t make the game fun when you can’t really make birdies.
I just started playing disc golf, my buddy got me into it,it's fun but my first real course was sabattus in maine and that was a beautiful course but I live in ct and the course here aren't anywhere as nice as thay was , we also played devils Grove in maine and that was a nice course also. Came across your channel and got hooked.
Not going to lie, more course like this would be so good for disc golf.
The pdga needs to do side tournaments at places like this and do it live. Such a cool course
They should do more doubles stuff I think that would make these courses really fun.
GK Pro & OTB did a side challenge at one of their skins fan experiences on a par 2 course. It was a cool idea where top armature scores got to play a round against 2 pros (Bell and Barsby) and if the am would they would get $2k. I could see them doing a small event here and it getting some views.
An ace race here would be amazing.
GK Skins match!!
Ductwork denied!
Thanks for coming to Austin for The Open and squeezing our gems like the Flying Armadillo into your schedule. Austin is for sure a special place for disc golf and lots of other fun activities!
Appreciate the shoutout bro! I had alot of fun being your caddie! Your vids are always an awesome treat too! :D
I took my kids there once, and it's the only disc golf they ever want to do. I don't blame them because it's just plain fun.
I came for the ace runs, stayed for the heart to heart. Love your videos, keep it up!
Flying Armadillo is so fun! Absolutely love that course. It’s nice cuz it’s so different than other courses
Casey, this was by far my favorite video you have ever done. You will get that Simone ace one day! Hahaha
Finally a disc golfer filmed here!!! I absolutely love this little putt putt course! I also love the actual course he has right next to it!
I started watching you because of Simon. You are a great RUclips personality for disc golf. Keep focused and success will keep coming. You are legitimately great
Haha..."Running in with the Prodigy boys..." then Gannon glares back at you.
My dude, I came to watch the course and to respect your dedication to the sport. And I stayed for your story of it all and your recent rounds. I have a much higher respect for you and am more interested in following your rounds. I appreciate you, my dude. Thank you for your content.
This is where they should host the all-star skills challenge.
I love the idea of taking a page from sweet miniature golf courses to create a tough little disc golf course! Cool!
I have heard about this course for YEARS. Thanks so much for bringing us along ☺️
That was a fun round, Casey.
You have a great attitude, and your play is excellent. Keep it up-Disc golf needs more people like you!
Love the way you talk about your rounds and tournaments! Appreciate the honesty and self reflection! Love this little course too!
Hey Jomez....we want to see this place on the putting game!
This felt like a mini golf course except with discs. Such a cool design!
This is my favorite course I've ever played. I used to live right by it when I was barely getting into disc golf. I wish I had known how good I had it being right by there!
Need to see you and Simon play this course.
Best video you have ever made. Fun shots, story time, hijinks, aces, guest stars. Loved it.
So glad to see pro playing and APPRECIATE this type of course.
The gimmick hole is my first and most aced hole out there I think I’ve done it 7-8 times 🤩
That Double Ace was sick. Congrats!
This course is the mini golf of disc golf
Lets go Casey!!!! Great job at Austin, rooting for you big time this season!!
Pa😢,w21❤a
I think I had my phone unlocked in my pocket and somehow made that reply 5 months ago lol
So glad you could finally make it out to my home course. Been a member out there since 2017.
This is cool, it more like what Minigolf is to Golf.
Something you can go with your family and they dont need to have played before, its still gonna be fun.
Great video Casey.

Rise above buddy & get your golf on. Finish the season strong & play your game.
Really entertaining stuff, Casey. Loved the very candid putting breakdown as well.
Flying armadillo is the six flags of disc golf. When I know I’ll be spending 4-5 hrs there it feels like Xmas morning
So cool to see ya playing this course. I remember helping lay the green in hole 16 when it first opened. Hope ya got to see more of the magic San Marcos has, it's an incredible community.
Well done, I appreciate how candid you were when speaking about your round.✊
real talk with Casey! I love it
Just in the first nine minutes this vlog has all the motivation and reminders even encouragements. This is good content
This was so much fun to watch. I really enjoy your personality and honesty in recapping your round. Keep being you, man.
Bro not gonna lie, first time watching your channel. Ive always liked you but have always seen you on someone else’s channel. Im glad I stumbled on to yours. One of my favorite breakdowns of an event to date. Looking forward to more of your content!

I live in San Antonio and have only been out there once. Had a blast on the par2 and played the first half of the big course.
I enjoyed this intimate vlog. At my age and bad knees I do not play disc golf. I do like watching you guys show the right stuff. Woods golf is the best. Cheers from 🇨🇦
All dem

baby!!!! LFG!!
-10 tallahassee: great closing round!!!!!!!!!!!! more great stuff to come.
Really appreciate the perspective and format! Great vlog.
I enjoy your recaps. That course makes me smile and I have never saw it before
Really is a great course, both putt putt and actual 18 hole. And such an amazing piece of land and extra activities.
This was so fun to watch!

Such great content Casey. Your good nature and love for the sport comes through in this one. Might have to find a way to road trip out there with some friends one of these days.
It’s honestly hilarious those other guys were throwing drivers
I played in a tournament a long ago with my mom and I had lots of fun and I even got to meet the yeti himself amazing course! Very fun
No doubt Casey you belong out there! Keep plodding along! Paw in the valley!
I've actually played this course and aced the hole with the basket in the ground. That course is awesome
This is my favorite course to play on a day when you dont have anything else to do, play the long course then play the mini a couple times. They also do nighttime minis every Friday night. Grab your best glow disk and go for as many aces as you can get!
Cool looking course, thanks for sharing.
Loved this video Casey! What a fun time and was great to hear you recap all the things.
Stoked for you having a good round in ATX man! Thanks for your honesty about the hard stuff. You're awesome!
Casey calls it an ace on multiple throws too. There's dozens of us
Let’s gooooo, awesome to see pros at a local course!!
That course looks amazing!

Love Flying Armadillo!!!
Casey you’re the man. Awesome video. Wishing you the best on tour!!
That shot on hole 9 🔥🔥🔥
This place does 24hr golf. Love to go there with friends and play night golf. They have solar lights built in to some baskets.
I love hearing pros talk about making the sport fun. It doesn't have to be 400ft+ par 3s. There should be some fun and quirkiness to the sport. I don't know how much you liked them, but the unique greens at Belton (turtle back and lions eye), is what made that course different
This is my favorite course of all-time. My first ace ever was on the hole with multiple pathways. I through I roller and it crashed in.
This course is so awesome & definitely need more. All the courses I play are Par 3s.
This looks like so much fun! Casey, if you're ever in Wisconsin, let's grab a hazy!!!
I caddied for you during the rainy round at Portland Open last year, and that was the highlight of my disc golf year by far! If you want a caddy for BSF or even Cascade Challenge, just hmu ;)
Love going there. Fun place!
Oh. There's also a short course in Ozark, MO that's pretty fun.
Best video ever would be you and Simon emptying your bags on every hole until all 18 have been aced at least once lol
It's in San Marcos, Texas! Close to where I am from! Will be playing it in June
Two lighthouse aces, ohhhhhhhh yeah. The regular 18 has some great holes as well. The bells on hole 12 were what some of us old school guys had to use as targets for years. Hope you make it to the Grange (now The Blockhouse) Tiki course in Virginia. Sooooo fun.
You got awesome talent. And a some great wins are coming for you I truly believe. Let’s go
Hey Casey, my name is Sterling too and I am from Texas. I have played flying armadillo multiple times, it’s my pops favorite course. Thanks for the video good luck brother

That was fun watching Casey. That's one of my local courses! Any idea when the P3X may make a return? I need one!
Second and bump please tell them to make more P3X's.
If you haven't gotten to Tallahassee yet, stop off at the blue angel recreational park in Pensacola. 3 excellent challenging wooded courses on 1 property.
Loved it bub.
Safe travels.
Love the approach you’re taking.
LOVE flying armadillo! I did a collegiate tournament there in 2017, it was wild.
We did night golf at the mini golf with the flash flight discs, so much fun
I have played this course at least 100 times and it makes me sad that you aren’t looking at all the cool details through out the property 😢 still glad you got to go though
I agree. The magic is all the bonus effort these guys have put into all the details of this course. This is the best hidden gem in Disc golf.
Went for the first time last weekend and it was too cool! Loved it! I want to make something similar down by Houston.
I love the flying armadillo!! got my first ace on the sign hole
I aced the hole in the thumbnail first time I played that course.
I used a max, backhand, right side rolled right in the basket!!!
Need a course like this near us in Palm Beach! This is how you get kids into the game. 200ft is even too far for my kids right now. Doesn’t make the game fun when you can’t really make birdies.
Throwing fire!!!! Love the creativity.
Pdga tournament there,id definitely watch
Course looks awesome, also can't wait to watch casey really perform in a tourney. Good luck bro
My home course. Nothing is as fun as the mini course there
Great video. I haven't played that course, but it's a lot like Dino Hills in Texas that also has a full 18 course and an obstacle putt course.
It’s awesome you randomly ran into your future teammate Gannon Buhr.
This is the fun, gimmicky putt putt type concept that could take DG to more of the masses.
Great video. I live in DFW and try to make the trip to that course at least once a year. Super fun, and the long 18 hole course is also money.
Bar down celly! Damn Casey, I didn't know you were a hockey fan 🍁🍁😂😂
Played here last weekend, so unique!!!
