- It's been a very busy few months... so I'm back with a new video. I'm currently making the switch to Da Vinci Resolve from Premier Pro and I was able to edit the video there. A lot of people ask me how I use Rekordbox DJ in HID mode so I thought that I would put this video together. I hope you this will help anyone pitting together the DJ set up.

Can you make a video how 2 djs using laptop take over each other in a live club situation?
when you play in HID Mode you don't need the analog RCA cables anymore. HID is digital and also you switch from cd/line to USB at your mixer.
The digital music signal is so small you can connect all with the hub. The hub just become problems when you use it for signal and also for power. Don't use your hub as a charger and you never will become trouble because your mixer, CDJs and also your laptop have there own power. ;-)

Hi, I'm driving with the cdj2000 controller, the problem I'm having is when I trigger the rekordbox samples it doesn't sound, can you help me? thanks for your videos :)
I would like to play in the clubs around here in my area in South Africa,Most clubs using standard CDJs mk 11 1000s - too the nexus.My Question is I use a Windows PC would I need additional Drivers on the night or how can I pre install that before I even get there. Hello, I do not know why DJM 750 is not working with the HID mode. I have tried so many times but still won't work. Please what should i do?

I have the xdj 1000 mk2 and the djm 900 nexus mixer. I can’t get the decks to switch to one and two. Do you need the link cables also? If so where is it connected? I followed your video to a tee and I still can’t get my decks to work in HID performance mode
Nice review by the way so I have a external hard drive can i connect it in the Hub ?
If you wil use HID mode, he external storage should be connected to your laptop for RB to access...
@@djtravismonsod will it be a problem if I connect it in the hub with the two CDJ’s because I have only two usb connections?
shouldnt i use a powered HUB to avoid audio drop outs? I had bad experiences with my equipment failing on me so im kind of paranoid to use a unpowered hub.
For this tutorial, the USB that I use for audio goes straight to the laptop.... while the USBs that go to the players are the ones only on the hub. The CDJ signals aren’t that heavy so you can put em on the hub. I’ve seen other people use powered hubs for all 3 and so far they work fine...
Sir travis pa help po. my djm 750k hardware not detected with serato dj pro. I tried already to set up the audio midi set up in macbook and installed the driver.
Could I have a compatibility question?
I have many song in FLAC format, and when I put them in to the database, rekordbox says this format I can play only ..., ... decks. If the club setup is CDJ900 for example what is cannot play FLAC from usb stick, can I play that from laptop in HID mode, or the story still same as from usb stick?

I don’t use FLAC as much.... all my tracks in my library are all MP3.

For the CDJ 3000, I think you will need to be on RB6 with a license to use HID mode.
What about license do we need one?
