I’ll say this about Casetify, their claims are 1000% true. I got one with the hot pink falling sand in it bc I could customize ACAB onto it. The day I got it I went to throw my dog’s ball and my phone somehow went instead. Fcker flew about 50 feet onto cement, NOT ONE SCRATCH. I got it bc it looked rad as hell, but it actually has use. Saved me $1800. 😅🥳
Hey Ghoul Boys! I have some suggestions for you guys!
Suggestions for more clinical/scientific investigating:
I believe the only way to truly determine that your reactions to locations (senses, feelings etc) and your "evidence" are really due to paranormal activity is to do some controlled testing.
I'm no scientist but here's my suggestion to have a more clinical approach to these paranormal investigations:
Have the crew take you to nine different locations and film in groups of three. Three of the locations will be supposedly haunted, seven will be regular old houses or forests or wherever. Shane, Ryan and the filming crew won't know which houses or locations are the haunted/paranormal ones. The person arranging all this can write made up histories/tragedies/theories about the non haunted locations and they can hire actors to be interviewed on camera telling about their "supernatural experiences" at the houses/locations and where they supposedly happened within the buildings/ locations. Having listened to the "history" of the locations and learning about where specific instances "happened" Ryan, Shane and the crew can set up filming and paranormal equipment in certain areas to see what evidence they can capture.
The staff could do:
Group A: Haunted, Not Haunted, Not Haunted.
Group B: NH, H, NH.
Group C: NH, NH, H.
Or... cruelly they could have all the haunted locations always be the first in the group lol. Have the crew do all the filming and editing etc and post. Ask fans in the comments to try to figure out which of the locations were actually paranormal and then a member of the crew will reveal which location was actually paranormal in the following Postmortem.
It'd be really funny to see if you'd freak out in a non paranormal regular location and it'd be interesting to see if you find evidence in those locations.
Lastly, you might consider bringing along a female on investigations that involve children ghosts. Perhaps a woman with a kind voice might be less intimidating theoretically to a kid ghost? I'd volunteer if you came to Ontario Canada.
Filming locations in Ontario Canada:
If you did come to Ontario Canada there's a few places you might like to check out such as the Old Kingston Penitentiary, Fort Henry, Bolt Castle etc.
lovin the new thang big love uk x
shane 🤣🤣🤣🤣
hey if you guys have evidence of an apparition do a brightness enhancement to see if you actually have a figure because when i "saw" the figure behind shane i though it was just a window. id need proof its not a window or outside light to take it seriously or at least a brightness enhanced image... afterall its "shadow people" in dark azz lightlessness, i need some contrast! please. i still cant tell what im looking at
I love this show because they aren't trying to convince you ghosts are real, they're just like "here's what we found, Shane thinks it's fake"
Yeah that's best thing about it, most shows it's all about the drama of paranormal activities but not this one, but still I'd love it more if Shane actually brought some actual justification for debunking the evidence and not just go ehh wind and put it down cause Ryan is busting his ass off for the evidence so Shane's also gotta have some solid backup answers because ehh not scientific end of story all the time is pointless
@@ThestriX46 honestly as a skeptic same as shane I find that that's... just really how we feel ahaha. I'll either have to see it with my own eyes, experience something truly strange or replicate "evidence" in exactly the same way (thats not just disembodied noises that could be anything).
I do recognize that it's frustrating to get that when youre looking for evidence tho stsushsushsishs
@@duckiechen1321 yeah and that's fine with me, I don't either take everything to be hard evidence cause you'll hear a 100 things in any place in silence at night but what I was saying was that when Shane's debunking something, he's gotta have something solid to say rather than wind or that ain't science all the time
@@ThestriX46 the drama comes from Ryans freakouts and their bantering. Which is obviously entertaining enough. They hit the perfect recipe. In the moment, Shane felt the noises sounded enough like someone moving around near him that he said he thought Ryan was messing with him. To me, that feels more significant than anything else. Shane is pretty decent about calling stuff wind or whatever, even when it sounds a lot like something like footsteps or a voice. But whatever he heard, he wasn't able to say it was anything other than someone moving around
this needs to be at the top. and I think they should do the debriefs a lot sooner. it seems that the time between the experience and the time of the debrief are too far apart for Shane to accurately recall what he experienced. in my opinion his comment about what he heard up there is a good indication he was not alone up there. he specifically said he thought someone was messing with him, not that he thought a window was open.
I still think this is an old building with birds and rats. I had pigeons living in my roof and it genuinely sounded like men in heavy boots walking around on my bedroom ceiling. Like stomp stomp stomp, as they walked around... just like a human walking around.
@@Mockthenerd did not know this. that could be a good explanation.

They should film an April Fools episode where they set up convincing (and terrifying) scares for Shane, but he doesn't know anything about it. He'll just think it's a regular-schmegular episode, but get legitimately scared. If they pumped enough money into it, they could set up some amazing scares. Of course, it should be filmed well before April Fools so it's not apparent what they're doing, and it could be released on the first of April.
this is an amazing idea, i would like but its at 69

Yesss that would’ve been so great
I mean, we saw him in a haunted house attraction so I don't know if he'll even get scared
@@sardsvib He might not... He might be so immune to scares that it would be a total wash.
I'm a believer like Ryan, but I'm sorry Ryan, I couldn't see a figure in the doorway. My favorite evidence was the balls perfectly aligning themselves under two doorways, next to each other. I thought that was so crazy and couldn't understand how Ryan was so chill about it in the episode! I'm glad he's acknowledging it now, though.
The "figure" in the doorway looked kind of square to me, like maybe a window in the room letting in slightly more light in the shape of a square that they mistook for a face
Like, I can see something before they try and point it out (I think it’s just light but w/e), but I have never been able to find what they’re circling afterwards.
The balls in the two doorways was my favorite as well. The odds of that happening are just astronomical.
I'm not sure why anyone thinks there's anything there. Isn't it obviously a reflective surface that exists in the previous frames and is just smeared?
@@daniel.bernard i thought it was a window in the distance. doesn't really look like a ghost either way
I think it's safe to say that Timmy was less scared of being caught in a net and more scared of the actual giant Shane running around in the weird hat screaming "TIIIIIMMEEEEEEEEH!!!!"
If there were Ghosts, I imagine they were all going "goddamnit, they're back!"
Definitely, if I saw Shane running around my house yelling my name I would be terrified
Yeah, good point. Timmy probably never saw South Park so he wouldn't get the reference. To us, hilarious. To him, highly concerning.
"do you wanna play a fkn game?!?!?" would have scared me no matter what age i were
Can you imagine a 9 foot tall Shane Madej screaming Timmy!!!!! in an abandoned building?
ryan and shane debating over the footage from shane's solo investigation is giving major "I've connected the dots" "you didn't connect shit" "I've connected them" energy

Does anyone else also agree with Shane? I honestly don’t see anything lol
@@MrGamer9941 I do. All of these could be very rational explanations lol. Especially the tech, because it bugs all the time.
@@MrGamer9941 I felt it may have been someone living/staying in the building. They could have also been the one that made the shuffling noises during the ball section of the investigation, and been the one who set the balls in the doorways.
I think I saw something in that doorway for sure, no idea what it was, though.
I like how Shane isn't being as patronizing about ghosts not being real and Ryan is being more rational about some of the "ghost noises" not actually being ghosts. I feel like both of them are meeting in the middle
Same. I have a feeling based off what they’ve said that BuzzFeed encouraged them to play into the bickering, but now that they have their own company they don’t have to act anymore.
Beacuse Shane knows that Ryan has become a bit rational. So, he doesn't have to argue with Ryan anymore.😆
The lady from the voodoo episode of BUN would be very proud of them
i mean his quoting evidence is pretty patronizing
well they started buzzfeed unsolved like almost a whole decade ago i think? so the beliefs they had then will slightly alter with time especially after investigating paranormal or supernatural activities and historical buildings, people change and grow over time
As an audio engineer, I find a lot of whispering when I go to edit my recordings. It's absolutely me, I just don't always remember saying things. I could easily see questioning whispering within hours of audio from a creepy location, but microphones will absolutely pick up whispering that's inaudible from a foot away.
I used to record outdoor sounds from a window in my old house, and I would let it run overnight to hopefully get rain, animals, or sounds of wind. Once you start boosting that signal... oh man. I'm getting chills thinking about that one time...

The reason I love this show is how genuine the relationship between Ryan and Shane. They don't present it as this perfect, no-conflict friendship. They clearly get on each others nerves at times, often purposefully. That's what real, true friendship is like.
I mean literally all of the humour is in the fact that they bicker and get on each others nerves, so they'd have no reason or incentive to pretend like there is no conflict in their friendship lol. Like that's The Brand (and also probably how their actual friendship is).

I think the scariest thing about that place wouldn't be ghosts, but like you walk past a room and there's an actual person in there and they attack you. You're on a ghost hunt and think little noises you hear are ghosts if you're Ryan or the building creaking if you're Shane, and then BAM! Naked grandpa with a hatchet starts humming and chasing you!
Glad I'm not the only person who thinks about this
I might believe in ghosts (I’m a coward lol), but even if they are real, I’m *_much_* more afraid of living people
I love how strong Shane’s skepticism is: he could meet a ghost, who told him he was a ghost and he’d be like, “agree to disagree”.
I'm so obsessed with how often Ryan and Shane change their style every time you see them. Gotta disguise themselves so the ghouls wont recognize them I guess
we don't want ghosts to follow them home yet

Go Shane and Ryan - always be great.
Yes I was so happy to see when Shane shaved off all that porn star facial hair he had on. Lol. Honestly it kinda creeped me out a little. I was putting in a mental image of Shane in a pair of denim shorty shorts and wife beat with a big van with the words free ice cream and naps spray painted on the side of it. Lol
"IT'S THE FUCKING WINDOW!" I yell from the mountain tops as Ryan and Shane argue about what the doorway apparition behind Shane could be.
literally same! it seems so obvious.
I noticed it too - if you watch, you can actually see 'lights' in that _exact same spot_ multiple times throughout the episode (some much more clearly 'reflection'-looking than others, but all pretty similar)... I think it was just one of their devices reflecting off of the multitude of windows in the Sanatorium.
💀
@@rainjay2516 They are on a hill also that is basically surrounded by a city/town. Its totally a window.
My thoughts exactly.
love their whole dynamic but I think one of my favorite things about this series (and unsolved) is that like.. if you do believe in ghosts/demons, the fact that shane is apparently devoid of fear in all of these situations would essentially make him like a protective charm since it’s believed malevolent spirits literally feed off of fear lol
When he was pretending to scream on the walkie, my immediate thought was " if this was a horror movie he would be the first to go" lol
So if you believe in ghosts, the best advice for protection is don't believe in ghosts, interesting 😂
The Ghosts when they see Shane: 👁️👄👁️
Timmy asks the nurses to check under the bed for Shane.
I think the biggest evidence was when Shane asks what the dogs name is and it responded “Steve” 😂
Never feel disappointed if you don’t get evidence. We don’t watch this for the proof, we watch it because we love you guys! You’re entertaining people!
absolutely, I think a lot, if not like 90% og this audience doesnt watch any other ghost hunting shows
And I despise such shows that are overly dramatic, shitting themselves because of a gust of wind and fabricating "evidence" that nobody can take serious. With the ghoul boys, we get what they found, experienced and interpreted by the opposites of the 'believe - spectrum'. It just feels way more genuine than 99% of ghost shows.
@@ichmeiner4531 Watching other ghost hunting shows compared to the Ghoul Boys is like watching B movies ironically. So bad that they end up being unintentional comedies. Ryan and Shane nail it though! If you aren’t particularly interested in ghosts, they’re still hilarious and super likeable, and if you are interested in the supernatural, it doesn’t get any more genuine than this.
@@by3176 perfect summary 👌
I watch it for ghosts, and like someone said below, it's genuine. If they don't get shit I respect them for being upfront about it and keeping that in. It makes it much more believable where so many other paranormal shows can't replicate it.
I know Shane's trying to be nice to the viewers but that one audience investigator that had a full on whispery conversation with the ghost was so obviously fake it was actually funny 💀
oh yeah like during the episope i was dying from shane

I'm usually a boogara, but that one is so fake it's embarrassing
i was embarrassed /for/ ryan when he said it could be real

So the humming was really odd, I’d definitely say that was something, could have also been the wind flowing down into the morgue which is why they didn’t hear it anywhere else. But the “face” behind Shane honestly just seemed like lights outside that disappeared cause he was walking. The dog one was really honestly a good piece of “evidence” but it’s also hard to tell with electronics because they can always malfunction.
They can malfunction, but a malfunction typically doesn't seemingly respond to you in the exact way you asked it to. The candy bar bit I could 100% understand if you were saying it could malfunction, but imo the dog toy is among some of the strongest evidence they have found to date.
I'd say the humming is probably the most "odd"
@@BigMan7o0 eh, if it's flicking back and forth and they keep asking questions it's gonna look like it's responding regardless (especially when they had to ask twice for the last one). Personally I thought the humming was best in this one, although I did think it was just Shane fucking with Ryan for a *bit* there
The malfunction is the point, it wouldn't be used in ghost hunting if it didn't. The humming is compelling but the tech will never convince me of anything
I definitely think it sounds a lot like when you blow across the top of a bottle. I’m more inclined to think it was a strong draft blowing across a piece of plumbing or some type of machine in the morgue. Surprised Shane didn’t say that tbh
I think the “figure” is the most easily disproven. It’s a window in the room behind Shane, and the “eyes” are the lights of Shane’s gopro reflecting off it. You can see almost the same thing as he walks past the next room, but he’s moving slower so the window in the second room is clearer.
Was about to say that. You can literally see the square shape
Exactly. My immediate thought was that it's a window. I don't get why anyone would think otherwise. It doesn't even look humanlike
OH THATS IT?? i thought everyone was seeing something besides the window, ive been so confused!
@@starsoffyre Ghosts almost never look humanlike, because they're cloaked extraterrestrials with super advanced technology compared to our own, who use abandoned buildings and exploit humans' beliefs to ensure that the only humans who visit them are harmless goofy ghost hunters, instead of angry military units trying to kick them off of Earth or map their network of underground tunnels. That's why every single one of the audience images, and the images Shane and Ryan got, look nothing like humans and everything like various species of alien.
The documentary Two Face: The Grey is a great example of a government (the Australian one) actually sending ghost hunters to investigate Cockatoo Island without telling them that they already knew it was an alien base, and they just wanted to send civilians in with special equipment who wouldn't be threatening to the aliens there. That's just my conclusion, after digging into the ET subject for many years... but I'm very confident in it. Watching these videos is quite a different experience when you realise that the humming, moving of the balls, and knocks, are just a smarter species toying with them, haha.
I think it's really cool that Shane and Ryan has managed to create a ghost hunting show that believers AND sceptics find entertaining, and that the comment section isn't a full out war between the sides.
We luv it🤝🏻
I think it's like how others are saying too, they don't fake evidence just to try and prove ghosts are real like some would. And I think that's why sceptics like it too. Also because even if they never got a single piece of evidence, they're still very funny and it's fun to watch.
And even if they DO get something that ryan calls evidence, there's still shane there to be the "voice of reason" and speak for the sceptics. Just the format of there being one believer and one sceptic is genius and is what makes it so entertaining for both sides.
Yessss. My husband amd I love it because he's a Shane and I'm a Ryan. Omg merch idea. Like the Sex in the city shirts. I'm a Ryan, I'm a Shane. I'd buy that.
there is no war in the comments because shane and ryan do the arguing for us hehe
Well said! I am a skeptic so I can't stomach the fake bull like Ghost Hunters, but the concept of ghosts is still very interesting to me so them not faking shit and both sides being represented, paired with their humor and chemistry, makes it so good.
At this point I'm convinced if Shane actually experiences something that'd make him believe he's gonna interpret it as psychosis
Your so right

@@brunoalves5339 shut up. Why are you even here? Just to ruin everyone’s fun? Annoying.

I have seen so much growth from Ryan. Back in their early days of investigating, Ryan would freak out over evps that, honestly, were nothing.
Shane reigns Ryan's fear and excitement back to a reasonable analysis of events.
Shane hasn't grown into a believer, but it's obvious he cares about his friend and this show. It's their friendship and opposition of beliefs that makes this show entertaining, and the only paranormal investigation show I trust.

The humming is, to me, the most compelling because it's the most consistent with my own experiences and interactions with spirits. The fact that it was on cue when you asked, the fact that it wasn't just one short note and actually seemed to be an attempt to continue your melody, and the fact that it repeats once as if to make sure you heard it, then it's never heard again.
I tend to believe aural evidence much more than physical because it takes a spirit *so much* energy to physically manifest change on the environment, and much less to vibrate air waves.
Very lovely moment with a spirit having fun with you two. 8D

I do like Shane explaining that he tries to point things out to Ryan that happens, because if only Shane hears it? He doesn't believe it's supernatural, so he points it out to Ryan to explore because he'll interpret things differently. He's not any less skeptic then before, he's just taking the better opportunity of the control of their own show to explore things more thoroughly.
im so happy theres a fresh ryan and shane show because ive rewatched buzzfeed unsolved at least 9 or 10 times
Same. I had them on when I work 7hrs/day, 5 days a week. I could probably recite their dialogues on every episode of unsolved supernatural lol
they have a bunch of other shows on this channel too, too many spirits (with steven lim, who's amazing), puppet history, are you scared, top 5 beatdown, they're all great
Saaaaaame! I love how Ryan narrates, his voice is soothing, and Shane makes it light and funny.

I got to visit the Goatman's Bridge recently. My husband was like, "Look, I've been there. It's not that impressive. It's a bridge over a creek." But I was super ELATED because it was Shane's Bridge! It was amazing to just be where they were! There was a circle of salt there, too, by someone trying to replicate a séance.
If you challenged Shane to show up and he doesn't that would've made it y'alls bridge
its Abigail's bridge now
My friend found out this weekend when we were hanging out that her grandma lives like 2 miles away from the bridge
I love the longer format. Is what we always wanted from you two. So much better, you’re probably one of the only people I can watch on RUclips for a half hour to an hour straight without being bored or distracted
I think Shane should do one episode by HIMSELF so that he could gather a lot of evidence; MEANWHILE, the rest of the crew has a campfire outside and relaxes all night 😂
Honestly of all the stuff, the teddy bear cam really creeped me out the most just cause it was such a gentle, sweet little voice from the cute teddy bear for the knock and there was a response knock… and then it got SO AGGRESSIVE. No other evidence from you guys is aggressive I don’t think anything has ever really seemed ill-intentioned but those knocks seemed really harsh and suddenly angry it startled me. I’m sad y’all didn’t discuss it cause we never got to see ur reaction to it since it wasn’t near u
Also AHHHHH love Garrett I’m excited to see more of y’all with him
Ghost probably got annoyed with it asking questions lmao 🤣

I will say as someone who studies vocal anatomy, the humming sounds are distinctly human sounding. You can hear the air move past the vocal folds pretty clearly, even some nasal resonance. Shane has a good point about not trusting everyone who says they have evidence. Unfortunately, there are many people who don't bother trying to debunk evidence they get and put it out there as proof, and there are people who will straight up make stuff up and orchestrate "evidence". You do have to be careful who you trust.
I appreciate that Shane is more respectful in Ghost Files. For me, it does make it more enjoyable. Therefore, I can enjoy Shane’s shenanigans even more so here!
I just feel happy that Watcher is doing so well. They were just three guys betting on themselves against all odds.
i dont think this is true, they have a pretty big cult following from buzzfeed unsolved
I mean they are the 3 people running the only popular shows on Buzzfeed
It wasn't that hard of a bet they literally were carrying BuzzFeed
Lol Ryan and Shane made insane amounts of money for Buzzfeed given that Unsolved was literally a MASSIVE success! It was about time they took ownership and did it for themselves than another company
Lol against all odds is an exaggeration, but I’m also really glad they made this work. I was really afraid there would be no more of this.
I was hoping for Shane to say "Our weekly QnA concluded, we now welcome you to the part of the show we call the Hot Daga; a hotdog saga commissioned by and starring Ryan Steven Bergara, written by me and adored by every single viewer, and if you don't like it, you can kiss my apple taters."

I think you guys should release the raw footage. I’m sure some people would be willing to watch 4-6 hours just to find things that you might have missed.
That realization that you don’t pick up on things until after the fact, is so wild. You learn that you were so fearful that you overlooked some clues. I do that as well. Also, Looked like there was also a flicker of light down the hall further from where the balls were found, in the doorways.
I still think the "figure" in Shane's solo investigation was the reflexion of his light on a window
What about when he asked "do you wanna play?" and something moves over his right shoulder
Ghost exist
i agree. i tend to see it like this as well, if you can absolutely say "im pretty sure thats not a ghost" then its not a ghost. if you see something that has zero explanation, even then it might not even be a ghost. its just too broad
The most compelling evidence for me as a shaniac was the teddy bear you guys left asking to finish the tune and the 2 thuds came afterwards, can't believe you guys didn't talk about it!

I really appreciate you guys being honest and actually showing the times where you don’t get a lot of evidence, to me that shows integrity and that you’re actually invested in finding possible evidence rather than creating it for the views, and that’s what makes the stuff you do capture all the more believable! Can’t wait to see what the rest of the season has in store!!
I really want to believe the humming is a ghost actually humming, but I used to have a very drafty front door and the crawlspace in my attic bedroom is also very drafty. When it's cold and windy out? I hear sounds pretty much exactly like the humming ghost.
Hey Watcher team! I just wanted to take a moment to thank you all for working so hard on this series. No doubt you all knew how important buzzfeed unsolved was to your audience, and the amount of attention and care Ghost Files has received is incredible. It's made even better knowing you have full control of what happens and full credit for it. Give yourselves a massive pat on the back for creating something that captured the magic of why we loved buzzfeed unsolved with the pride of care of doing it all yourselves! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ LOVE TO YOU ALL!!
I love how Ryan wants to see these things and then when he gets evidence, he wants to immediately leave 😂

That’s how you know it’s probably real
Yeah thats basically all of the ghost hunting shows out there, I think out of the hundreds of different groups i've seen videos from, maybe 2??... have been professional enough, or not played up to the drama of screaming and running.
Can't say I blame him. My boyfriend and I went to a building in our hometown that's supposed to be haunted last year because they were letting you go in at night to listen to the different ghost stories. They let you go during the day but they never really have anything going on at night unless it's a presentation and even those don't go on very late into the night, they don't shut all of the lights off and you don't get to wander through the whole building like they let you do for the ghost stories. I'm 100% a Boogara and my boyfriend's a die hard Shaniac but he loves hearing ghost stories so even though he doesn't believe any of it he was still willing to go. I had to psych myself up to go because I always swore that I'd never step foot in the building when the lights are off. The first place they send you is into the basement and they make you turn your back to the room where the story they tell you takes place. Thank God you couldn't see people's faces very well because both he and the lady telling the story would have seen me freaking out and turning to look over my shoulder every two seconds waiting for someone to appear. I've never wanted to be out of an area faster then I did that night.
Yea that “figure” genuinely just looks like a reflection in the window in that room. It looks like all of the lights on Shane reflecting in the window. Idk what Ryan sees when he’s in editing mode but on RUclips it’s heard to make out a figure at all
5:16 Tbf the fact other people have heard the same noise in than room just means that something in that room make that noise.
Suggestion - showing a map of where Ryan and Shane are while they are investigating. Like as they are moving about maybe a small map in the corner with dots to let us know where they are relative to the entrance.
My husband and I love watching you guys investigate!! It’s so entertaining and scary at times - definitely boogara household 👻
Oooh this is a really good suggestion
I also understand this could potentially be tough for the editing team just wanted to throw that out there

Shane got some pretty solid evidence this episode..but he's too afraid to admit that he DID caught a disembodied head by accident..been watching the bois for years..that look on Shane's eyes as he declines to have witnessed something like that shows he's pretty shook to the core.

GARRETT RYAN & SHANE, my favorite ghoul finders together!! I am so stoked for what is yet to come this season.
The balls in the doorway are what happens when a ball rolling to a stop gently collides with the doorframe. It’s not that hard to send to balls down almost the same path. I can attest to personally losing golfballs in sequence to the exact same spot despite my best efforts. Also bear in mind, floors are often not perfectly level, and can slant towards one side of a hallway.
ARE WE NOT GONNA TALK ABOUT THE AUDIO DOG TOY AND THE KNOCKING?!?!?! That was more believable than the ghost in the doorway
YES
I would love to see a segment where shane tries to recreate when people allegedly fake "evidence". Like just having a second person whisper the line in the body shoot.
omg this is such a good idea! just like how ryan tried to recreate the ghost photos in the video, shane could totally do smth like that
That would be an EXCELLENT future segment.
That would be dope
Yeah! Like how whenever the Mythbusters busted a myth, they would then see what it would actually have taken for the myth to be true! Shane and Ryan should attempt "genuine" and "staged" versions of all the evidence! They'll be the ghost version of Mythbusters!
...
THEY'LL BE GHOSTBUSTERS!!!
Well the evp evidence is the easiest to fake, you literally just add a voice in afterwards.
I love this show. I am so happy you don’t have the weird “creepy” cut-always like every other ghost hunting show out there. Shane-everything is pseudo-science until it’s actual science! I can’t wait to watch the full season! 👏🏻👏🏻
GARRETT PLUS SHANE AND RYAN PLUS PARANORMAL CONTENT I THOUGHT THIS DAY WOULD NEVER COME
I do find it funny that people point out the fact that lots of people hear hums in that room as evidence that it's ghosts/supernatural. If you heard a weird and unique noise one time and no one else ever heard that again, that would be more indicative of something weird. The fact that it's quite a common thing just suggests that there is some weird quirk of that room that causes that noise. As Shane pointed out, the windows are open. Wind blowing through/over/interacting with/whatever something in that room is just producing a sound that sounds like a hum.
I totally get where you're coming from and actually agree with you that it wasn't a ghost. That said, I think one-off experiences tend to get dismissed by sceptics ('you were just scared/imagined it', 'it was probably just a random noise' etc). If something happens multiple times to different people, it can be considered to be more reliable - less likely that one person just imagined it or is lying, or that it was 'random'.
I do agree that that _doesn't_ mean it was a ghost, and that a repeated noise is likely as a result of some sort of architectural quirk unique to that room that is being overlooked and that is causing those noises. But I also totally get that without that explanation being provided, someone who does believe in ghosts would see that as compelling specifically _because_ it happens so often (and also specifically after they asked the ghost to hum).
@@Lisa_Flowers yeah. When something is replicable or is experienced by different people reliably then it's more likely to be an actual phenomenon. Of course that does not mean it's ghost, but it does mean that it's real.
i think it would be more compelling if it happened like multiple times to one person/group. then it wouldn't be easily debunked that it was a one time thing if it responds intelligently but it could also cross out the possibility of it being something with the room like you said.
Fucking hell. All of yall be writing fucking paragraphs goddamn. Then you complain bout writing paragraphs for school. Tf 😭😭😭 simplify all these
you could say the opposite too; "oh you were imagining it" bc it was one time and only one person ever heard it

I’ve been a Shaniac since the beginning, but I always really admire Ryan on the hunts because he’s so scared but does it anyway. Something to be said for facing your fears like that!❤
11:06 im glad they talked about the two balls landing in the doorways cause i thought that was really weird but the third ball they threw also landed in a doorway just a doorway further into a room!! was kinda hoping they’d catch that too
Not gonna lie when I first heard Ryan say "What is that?" and then "box" in the original episode I figured it was a ghost asking about the phone, because what would a phone seem like to a person dead and from the 1800s? A box. And tbh a ghost interacting with a person by being inquisitive about modern technology is kind of endearing
I was thinking the same thing!
I can't wait for the day Watcher gets a big enough budget to do haunted places in other countries. When that happens, I hope they'd do one of the haunted hospital in Clark, Pampanga in the Philippines.
The doll island in Mexico would be AMAZING
same, im from a SEA country and i feel like they would have a better chance to get a response from taunting spirit here cuz seriously SEA ghosts are on steroid lol, people can get possessed on a ordinary camping trip
I have a dear friend from the Philippines and he has so, so many stories of the supernatural. He’s the most rational, skeptical and scientific guy you’ll ever meet, but if you ask him if ghosts are real he’ll look at you like you’re stupid
Another place could be the Manila Film Centre where workers were buried alive during the building’s rushed construction.
Would love if they could do Leap Castle.
Shane and Ryan SERIOUSLY need to do a collab ghost hunt with the Ghost Brothers!! Those five together would be comedy and paranormal gold!
Omg I love the ghost brothers 😆 that would be amazing!
So great to have Shane and Ryan back on the case, I have been looking forward to this series since it was first announced and I definitely wasn’t disappointed by the series premier.
Ryan giving Shane sass…!!! LOLOL.
a ghost could appear in front of shane and ryan and everyone filming, tell everyone it died and do a full blown interview and shane would say it was a shared hallucination
But we have lots of compelling, reproducible evidence for the existence of hallucinations, and none for the existence of life after death. So Shane would be correct.
Except ghosts aren’t real so that will never happen. This “evidence” is never conclusive.
No, no. Shane would need to hear it say "Choo Choo pickle pie" to believe, which would surely be asked in the interview.
@@duskstorm3560 exactly. and even after the ghost says "choo choo pickle pie" as instructed, shane will say it was wind in the creaky old building that made it sound like "choo choo pickle pie"
Ghost: I AM LITERALLY A GHOST.

Pretty sure the figure standing behind shane was just the window at a weird and blurred perspective. Excited for future episodes and great job ghoul boys!
This way my reaction exactly. "What, you mean the window?"

Though I will admit I CAN see a face, but that doesn't mean much when it comes to shadows and lights.
I'm glad to finally see someone else say that. I was like, how is nobody else saying that's a window. Literally at the start of the episode they talk about all the windows that are on the building.

Honestly the thing I love about this show (as a complete skeptic but also just as a fan of ghost shows) is that you guys can so easily be entertaining even with zero activity considered reasonable. You don't need to fake any evidence because even a show that was 1 hour of you guys just yelling at each other in the dark would be super entertaining. I can imagine if you do believe in ghosts in can get frustrating when you don't get any evidence you're happy with, but building up that trust because you're willing to show you got basically nothing is more important. Most other ghost shows I go into knowing it's fake for entertainment, however this is the only show where I have to genuinely think about anything you capture as a skeptic, as I'm confident you aren't making stuff up just for the views.
I agree if I think that they’re faking evidence I’m out, I’m a skeptic too, I still like watching and they’re efforts to entertain really make this watchable.
Omg yes, even tho the point of the show is to try and find paranormal evidence, just them as entertainment is well done
I do personally believe in ghosts but I don't just run around and assume every bump or noise is a ghost and often times I will explain away "evidence" as other reasonable occurrences
Shane is why this is fun to watch. It's so fun to see someone that doesn't believe at all pointing out why it's not true.
Came here to comment that y'all have glowed up so hard since BuzzFeed and I'm so very proud of you guys 🥹 also SO excited that we get 2 episodes (the investigation *and* debrief) per location!!
For the face behind Shane in the solo investigation, when I replayed/paused it, I recognized a form of light refraction. If I were to hazard a guess, that thing in the background was a tarped-up window (which we know there are tarped windows there because one scared Ryan earlier in the episode). If you think about the reflectivity of a tarp, add in how it's probably wrinkled, etc. you can put that together with pareidolia and you get a face.
That's merely my theory on explaining what it was.
I’m on the same page as you with this one.
Yeah, it looked like a window reflection to me. Don't know if that room had a window but im guessing it did.
aha i scrolled down the comments in the hopes that someone had mentioned this! I had to watch it back so many times because I automatically read it as a light through/bouncing off of a window so I kept looking for a face but couldn't see one xD
That’s exactly what I was thinking when I saw it. Definitely not a face shape more of a plastic sheeting that’s a bit wrinkled kind of shape
@@BrookeABee same! No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't figure out what the big deal was, I couldn't see movement, a figure, a face, etc

@@missybarbour6885 they do have a small amount tho. Not nearly as much as cats or deer, but if you've ever gotten the red eye effect on photos with flash, that's the reflective backing of the human eye! However, the "apparition" was definitely a window
The reflective properties of a ghost need not be the same as those of a human, but yeah it didn't really look like an apparition; or anything, for that matter
I mean, to be fair, Ryan did ask once if hair grows out of the skull so I wouldn't assume he possesses vast quantities of knowledge about the human body lol

Me too thought it was a wig
Me too 😂 😂 😂
I've been scrolling the comments looking for one like this. I was like 'Whoa, he dyed his hair again. He lost the mustache too. Wait rewind, I missed the first couple minutes of the episode.'
I appreciate that Shane was giving the ghosts a little life update before beginning to shout,”YOU WANNA GO?!”
Just wanted to not that perhaps the "box" comment was like to clarify that they were talking about the box with lights on the ground? Like it was asking what it was, and Shane thought the ghost meant the thing he was holding in his hands, and then the ghost clarifies like "box [on the ground]".
I also thought this!
I appreciate Shane’s skepticism since normally I’m scared of even spoofs of scary movies. Not sure if I can watch the actual ghost files episodes, but this is great.
I’ve always been scared of most ghostly shows or videos even goofy ones like you said. Shane’s attitude has helped me too and he’s also made me kinda of a skeptic.
