'chimney' might be 'scaffolding' but there aren't enough syllables.. so I'm not sure what to do with that one. based on this it seems like the ghosts are pretty friendly, answered his questions and didn't want him to leave.
There's something funny about Ryan admitting he feels more comfortable around Shane during these adventures, then cutting to Shane breathing heavily from walking up a ton of stairs.

See, this is probably one of my favorite episodes. It's mainly because none of the ghosts here seem to have any kind of malicious intent, it's all very sad what happened to them, but the worst case scenario here is just a grumpy guy who'd rather you aren't there. But everyone there, in my mind seems fairly kind and welcoming. It's also one of the most active places, and to me, that shows that people don't need to be afraid of all ghosts.

From what I understand a spirit box is supposed to switch from one radio station to another so quickly that without supernatural intervention the random syllables, static, and music would just be nonsense..... however when this spirit box does put together a complete word or phrase.... it's always ALL from the same station..... which means that the spirit box they use doesn't actually switch as quickly or as randomly as it is supposed to. If this spirit box produced a word or phrase out of multiple different radio stations' syllables, the probability that could happen on random is so slim. That could be really compelling evidence, especially if it says something relevant or long. But so far, all it seems they've done is just listen to a radio set to scan. I think they're kind of annoyed with it and just don't put much faith in the evidence it provides anymore. #postmortem (tell us what you guys really think about how effectively the spirit box works if you aren't cowards, Shane and Ryan)

just watched this episode (currently exploring the series), this by far the best episode, because Ryan literally had a conversation with the spirit box not just the usual gibberish or random words, it literally send a chill down my spine when Ryan tried to leave the lighthouse, and whoever that was, asked "why are you leaving?"

Not going to lie, having been there several times in my life, it can be unnerving. Even during the day in the hottest parts of summer, you can sometimes find freezing cold patches as you're climbing up the tower. It has no air conditioning in the actual lighthouse itself. There have often been times you can feel dread or like someone is watching or touching you, even if you're climbing alone. There was one incident on a school trip of mine that our teacher got a bad feeling and told all of us who were in the group to move back. Seconds later? The railing around the lighthouse started wobbling violently as if it was about to tear off. There was no wind. I never booked it down stairs so fast.
I agree. She seemed happy to have someone to talk to. This would have been one of the instances that would have been the perfect opportunity for them to stay there the night. It's a real shame they didn't.
That was some of the most compelling evidence for the existence of ghosts they ever captured. I wish Ryan would've screwed his courage to the sticking place just once, if only for Eliza. When she asked, "you can hear me?" and "why are you leaving?" was a bit heartbreaking.

See, this is probably one of my favorite episodes. It's mainly because none of the ghosts here seem to have any kind of malicious intent, it's all very sad what happened to them, but the worst case scenario here is just a grumpy guy who'd rather you aren't there. But everyone there, in my mind seems fairly kind and welcoming. It's also one of the most active places, and to me, that shows that people don't need to be afraid of all ghosts.

From what I understand a spirit box is supposed to switch from one radio station to another so quickly that without supernatural intervention the random syllables, static, and music would just be nonsense..... however when this spirit box does put together a complete word or phrase.... it's always ALL from the same station..... which means that the spirit box they use doesn't actually switch as quickly or as randomly as it is supposed to.
If this spirit box produced a word or phrase out of multiple different radio stations' syllables, the probability that could happen on random is so slim. That could be really compelling evidence, especially if it says something relevant or long. But so far, all it seems they've done is just listen to a radio set to scan.
I think they're kind of annoyed with it and just don't put much faith in the evidence it provides anymore. #postmortem (tell us what you guys really think about how effectively the spirit box works if you aren't cowards, Shane and Ryan)

Count me in with Shane. I find comfort in places a lot of people say is uncomfortable.
Not going to lie, having been there several times in my life, it can be unnerving. Even during the day in the hottest parts of summer, you can sometimes find freezing cold patches as you're climbing up the tower. It has no air conditioning in the actual lighthouse itself. There have often been times you can feel dread or like someone is watching or touching you, even if you're climbing alone. There was one incident on a school trip of mine that our teacher got a bad feeling and told all of us who were in the group to move back. Seconds later? The railing around the lighthouse started wobbling violently as if it was about to tear off. There was no wind. I never booked it down stairs so fast.
