- An instrumental track of "Master of the House (The Innkeeper's Song)" from Les Miserables, music written by Claude-Michel Schonberg, lyrics by Alain Boublil and Jean-Marc Natel (original French) and Herbert Kretzmer (English translation). Trevor Nunn and John Caird directed the original production, which was produced by Cameron Mackintosh. The music was orchestrated by John Cameron.
These tracks were made using the revised version of the score, from around 1995-1997, which is slightly different from the score as it appears on the Complete Symphonic Recording. The orchestrations also follow these revisions, with the exception of the keyboards- information on the Kurzweil patches for the show is difficult to find, so these sounds are intended to emulate the original DX-7 patches (with varying success, I might add).

Master of the House is my first favorite scene in both the musical and the 2012 movie musical version which I own on DVD and Blu-ray combo pack. I am a big fan of Les Miserables! I even own the full score of the show as well as program booklets and all the English recordings on CD as well as the kids novelization of the book, the 10 anniversary concert on DVD and the 25th anniversary on DVD and I also have a copy on Blu ray. as well as the original London cast on cassette and the OBC on record!
