    THE INSPIRATION-
As Jaded began, I set out to build a first generation (1966) Mustang, incorporate styling cues from modern Mustangs, and blend them as seamlessly as today's late model muscle cars blend vintage cues. Those subtle changes that draw you into the car for a closer look.
    THE CHALLENGES-
It was extremely difficult to maintain proportion and balance while retaining the heritage.
JADED still had to look like a Mustang, not a Frankenstein collection of parts slapped together. Once the design was solidified, choosing components that fit the car and creating a cohesive well rounded package was the next challenge. Starting with a drivetrain from the legendary 2004 COBRA gave me a great head start on a bulletproof and powerful foundation. The Schwartz G-Machine full frame chassis solved many problems, including suspension, steering and most importantly, rigidity that would support torque and power into the 600 HP range.
    THE DETAILS-
The feel of the 2004 interior gives the car a modern edge with seats that are heavily bolstered, 6 way adjustable, and very comfortable. The body had to be stunning, the color had to be right... and the timing of the Eastwood Contour line of products was perfect for JADED.
I wanted to show that you don't have to break the bank to get great results.
With well-chosen products, you can get a world class appearance that holds up to anything.
The proof is in the car - thousands of hours, pints of blood, many sleepless nights and the passion that we all share in this hobby... the drive to create something that is "our own" is manifested in JADED. I'm very proud of this project, and humbled by the many friends and manufacturers that contributed their energy and time. Now it's time to DRIVE IT!

Beautiful car, awesome job building it! It was this video that ultimately help me choose the new color for my project. Seeing the jaded green color in acton was all it took. Just ordered my paint, primer, clears and accessories from Eastwood and am ready for the task.. I'll be borrowing some of your clearcoat techniques laying down matte/gloss side by side as well. Thanks Kevin!

I love the use of the shelby gt500kr style hood and i love the dark green color. I also like the incorporation of modern technology headlights and the interior! Something i'd love to do. Good job

This mustang build was very well thought out excellent build quality Kevin is good at what he does it has old styling cues with modern drive train and suspension it is a sweet breed of Frankenstein anyone who says negative about this car has problems I think it is awesome and people need to think of the time and energy and thought process that went into this car?

The headlight, fender, hood, to grill body gaps are jacked. Nothing lines up there at all. At 1:06-1:08 you can see it plain as day. I would not have been happy with that being a final product. But that’s just splitting hairs to some I guess

Look again at 1:40,it lines up with the design they had in mind but still looks goofy

Great thing about a custom ride, you can make it any way you want. I wouldn't have done what Kevin did, but it's not my car. My first new car bought by myself was a white '66 Mustang coupe, a "dealer mistake"-someone had ordered the car with the 'K' code engine (HO) & a 4 speed & it came with a 3 speed on the floor, so I got a deal on it. It was a very quick car & I think I prefer the 3 speed over the 4 for getting out of the hole. I was wiping out MOPARs off the line with ease. :D

Dash nope, headlights and some of the contour work...nope.....basically everything else is spot on though. I don't mean to sound like a hater but certain new stuff looks cheap compared to the old. The taillights led conversion looks very chinese. Paint and metal work is awesome. And also....140 hp loss to the wheels? Something is not adding up?

I like almost everything about the car. Almost because the green color doesn't do it for me. If I decided with a green it would be an olive colored. But overall it is a very nice ride.

...and I want to know why they used the POR-15, which can get plotted when exposed to sun, instead of their Ruse Encapsulator or another Eastwood product.

640 crank hp and only 500 wheel hp, I hope that's a miscalculation, cause damn that's a lot of parasitic loss.
