I really love this vehicle, it's main feature being that it is fun to drive. I have been consuming every single review that I could find. Most have come to the same conclusions. One review in an popular automotive magazine site though noted how harsh the ride was over uneven pavement, returning booming sounds and protests from the suspension. Also noted was the wind noise from the A pillars, and finally the transmission being very jerky in any mode other than sport+. Did you experience any of these things?
Going into Sport Mode won’t improve ride or turbo lag or lurch. Have to wait until a mild hybrid battery is added to spin up the turbo quickly and provide smooth starts.
love the car but BIGGEST Gripe is with the lack of storage in the CENTER CONSOLE.... WTF BMW! the X1 and X2 center console got SUPER NERFED! this is why I still love my XC40!

GLA? Q3? Seriously ? No way, SORRY people .. the ALL NEW X1 is absolutely a GLC, Q5, competitor .. size, looks, interior, overall performance ! BMW has finally delivered a fantastic all round SAV. JMO ..

For the $15K more than a regular X1 you don’t get much. A fractional second faster, quad exhausts and artificial sound. And no spare tire, poorer gas mileage, and bumpier ride. Launch from a stop is still laggy/lurchy.
If you’re a driver, you actually get a lot. I have spent time with both. Huge difference…
Is someone paying you to watch these and post this same comment? This is the third or so I've seen from you. You're on every video of this car posting the same drivel. Is this the Mazda brigade I've heard about? Go do something else with your time.
