Mike really needs to be used as a consultant for Fender & Squier.
Mike did work at Fender a time ago
@paulygood6665 but did he work as a professional autiste?
I’ll sign that Mike Adam’s sig model petition all day.
+1 on a Mike Adams Puisheen model!!
Another vote for a Mike A sig model!
Mustangs are my favorite... but admittedly I have a huge crush on this jag of Mike's. (Who wouldn't?! It's flipping gorgeous.) And we were so stoked to build this set of pickups for him!! Also totally loving this video and everything y'all at WCM put out there 🤘 - Emily @ EP
I didn’t know about this guitar house but I like both Mike Adam’s and Ryan from 60 cycle hum. Both of those guys have helped me through video so much. Thank you.
I love both of those guys! they're awesome.
Mike definitely deserves a sig! He's put more love into Fender offsets than Fender had until fairly recently.
I love a Mastery, but currently have a brass saddle Mustang bridge from Custom World Guitar parts that I'm auditioning. It seems to work well so far and frees up my Mastery for a pickier guitar.
Favorite offset by far is the Mustang, specifically MY Mustang. Fender Japan '65RI Mustang, rewired with Curtis Novak '64 Duo Sonic spec pickups, 1M volume and tone pots with treble bleed and 0.47uF tone cap, and the 3-way slider switches rewired; one for pickup selection, one for in phase/out of phase/Jag style strangle switch.
That said, I've also got a Silvertone 1478 reissue that I've got a real soft spot for.
I'm a simple man, I see Mikes Coke bottle green sparkle Jaguar, I watch the video and click like.
I feel like I’ve been stalking this gorgeous guitar across channels on Guitar House. Stunning finish and it sounds freakin’ awesome.
god i love mike adams
You got a really likable chill vibe, great vid!
Mike defenitly deserves a signature
Love
❤🐎❤
Oh wow I just found this, and I am excited to watch more. Thank you!
Welcome to the channel, glad to have you watching. We've got plenty of videos to explore and possibly marathon to get caught up
I hadn't heard of half you (yet) but I absolutely love these guitar house videos... Amazing concept and very well executed!! 👏 👏 👏 I love the guitar tube solidarity!!
I feel like "But does it dad rock?" Needs to be on a shirt.
Puisheen put a whole lot of love into that guitar and you can tell. I missed what the cap value was though.
I love my Jagstang! I have a Warmoth custom one that is sparkly.
I loved seeing this bromance blossoming in person. Y’all are adorable, more Jason and Mike Content! Haha no lie tho that guitar is beautiful and built as such by an equally beautiful person
I would definitely love more Jason and Mike stuff as well…maybe I should talk to Mike about doing a weekly podcast of sorts. 🤔
@@JasonTMays if his time would allow for that. I think that would really be a great project for you both.
I was a StayTrem loyalist but was always curious about Mastery. I finally bought one recently for my Johnny Marr Jag and haven’t looked back. That said, StayTrem is also great.
My favorite offset is either the MarrGuar or the PRS Vela. You can get those sub $1K used. I recommend the regular with a satin finish. So airy…
I agree that Mike should have his own signature model and the sparkle jag should be it! It’s a beautiful sounding guitar. I have the EP custom jag pickups in mine and they are fantastic.
Since you asked so nicely. My favorite offset was my 60th anniv. Jazzmaster. BUT. Recently, I picked up a 2011 CIJ Fender Mustang Pawnshop Special for an insanely good price. That's a guitar that when I pick it up, I never want to put it down. It's the most comfortable guitar I have ever played, and sounds incredible.
Hands down the most beautiful Jaguar I’ve ever seen. The coke bottle sparkle is unreal. Sounds amazing, too!
Right?!
Love the I think you should leave reference lmao
Thank you for your continued awesomeness!
Stewmac 0148 is my favorite frewire too! I've used it on so many of my builds!
I love everything about that Jag. I also have small hands and prefer a neck that's not too deep but also has an average to wide nut with - not too narrow. Jag sounds great and you cannot go wrong with a Mastery vibrato.
my favorite offset is a vintage style fender mustang but i recently bought a d'angelico bedford and have to say i am extremely impressed with that guitar. mustang is still my go-to but the bedford feels like a perfect hybrid between a jagstang and a les paul
Really enjoy your videos. You come off way less self absorbed than many of the gear review influencers.
I want to like Jags so much, but can't get along with the deeper C profile neck on the Squier Classic Vibes
I have a Mastery bridge and trem on a parts Jaguar, it's a Jagmaster Blaster. All my other offsets have Staytrem bridges and AVRI trems though, and they're great together!
killin it as usual
My favorite is my super loud Pawn Shop “Super Sonic” I do love my Jag as well 😎🏁
Mike's partsuar guitar looks great in your hands sir!
Thank you! It's by far the best Jaguar I've played in my life.
I would like to see Mike review his signature model as done by fender. "first, let's talk about these frets"
LEGO GUITAR LEGO GUITAR
That guy on the left has a sweet beard. The guy on the right has sweet glasses. Solid all around.
That’s the coolest Jag I’ve seen. Been wanting some type of single coil guitar and I keep waffling between a strat style, jazzmaster, or jag.
Jazzmaster all day
@@miserableunoriginal cool, I’m about to check out a Noventa. Not sure about the 3 90 configuration but I’ll give her a whirl.
@@martianmurray I’m not a big fan of the short scale of the jaguar and never really liked that quacky start tone.
I'm not really a Jag guy, but I would definitely play this one. Sounds great, and I enjoyed your playing!
JEEZUS! I LOVE THAT COLOR SPARKLE! WAAAAAANNNNTTT!
Fab, the Dcotor certainly has a lot of energy. I'm sure the offset bug will bite me one day.
Fender Mustangs are my favorite, I'm 5'9 on a good day and they just feel good
My favorite offset is def the Super-Sonic. I'm glad it's getting so much love lately. I'm just hoping they keep the Paranormal series going into the future. Love that stuff
OMG YES SLACKTONE
Oh and the Lego guitar has been resurrected lol
It's not actually a, Fender but the: Warmoth "Jazzcaster" has my attention. I want to put a, Bigsby on one.
Try halon bridge!!! You will be amazed!!!!
Jazzmaster and Ibanez Talman are my fave offsets
Speaking of great pickups and favorite offsets, Offset Telecaster for the win.
❤️
My favorite offset is the mustang 😉
That Jaguar sounded amazing, not a huge fan of short scale guitars, I do have a fender mim cyclone hs that I dig with the Gibson scale but my favorite offset is the Jazzmaster for sure.
Best offset I've ever played was the Fender Brawler. A like... three off? I think? baritone that Carlos Lopez did for CME before he left Fender. As I can tell it was basically the precursor for the Castedosa stuff he's doing now and it was heavenly. Sadly it was nearly ten thousand dollars which is too many dollars for I think anyone (and this was pre pandemic pricing too). I played a few other things of his while I was at CME and it was clear that he was one of the best builders that fender employed, but they did not seem to want to invest in him or his ideas (and when they did price them so absurdly high that they cannot catch on). He's way better off on his own.
Uh oh. MTV gonna come for you!
What are your feelings on the player series jag/jazzmaster as a jazzmaster aficionado?
I actually don’t mind the player series Jazzmaster. However, for the price of a new player series you could get a used classic player or Vintera. But if you want humbuckers it’s not a bad option.
(1)definitely check out the Halon bridge, (2)no disrespect intended but you need to have Tia check this guitar out since she and Mike both admit to having “tiny baby hands,” (3)your best shot at getting a Mike Adams signature jag is to look outside of Fender, after all, they do not even put aftermarket bridges and tremolos on Johnny Marr or J. Mascis signature guitars. I would suggest hitting up Mike’s old pal Shelby Pollard to negotiate for a Puisheen-inspired Black Bobbin/Iconic Guitars signature build.
Thanks.
I’ll definitely check them out. I’ve seen them in the FB offset forums.
And no disrespect taken, I’ve seen you in our comment section on our other videos. so I know you dig our channel. (Or at least I hope. Lol) it should be noted that Mike and I have similar size hands. I get that Tia naturally gravitates towards short scales, given her smaller stature….But, I thought of reviewing this from the perspective of someone who struggles with finding a short scale guitar i like, and I wanted to review one of my good buddies personal guitars.
And no worries, I’ve been talking to Mike behind the scenes about building me my dream partscaster/jaguar. I love Shelby but ya’ boy is big broke and I think Mike and I might do a follow up video about this collaboration…which I’m super stoked about.
The Johnny Marr Jag has Fenders copy of the staytrem bridge and the J Mascis has an adjustomatic thing. Neither of those are the stock Jag/Jazzmaster bridge 🤣
All due respect but I think the Johnny Marr Jag did more for Jags then any other production modified jaguar.
Re: “clay”, “tile”, etc. As in linoleum tile?
@Puisheen ?
So how do you think a Jag. would sound with a 25.5 scale neck?
We might have a video planned to show that depending on a few things working out.
@@realxandercuck That would be a comparison I have wanted to see for a long time.
I cannot hear what brand the pickups are - could anyone else hear? That audio needs help.
EP customs - 62 jaguar pickups.
yeah, unfortunately the audio for the specs portion wasn't the best, but we tried to make it as clear as possible. Sorry about the inconvenience
Patrick is phenomenal. He will wind it any way you ask for. All my guitars have EP Custom pickups in them. I will also add I turned Mike Adams onto EP Custom pickups and I couldn't be happier that he loves them.
@@jralanmorgan thanks.
@@jralanmorgan Thank you so much for the support, seriously!! 🙏 - Emily @ EP
I'm gonna have to stick with the Player Mustang. Simple controls and no trem (I know, I know). But I must say, I'm becoming very curious about Jaguars 🤔 Another plus of the Player Mustang is that with a few small mods, I can swap out electronics, pickguard and pickups pretty easily.
ur missin out man, the vintage switching makes a mustang so versatile. i hardtail my trem but the original mustang bridge is a lot better for palm mutes than the player's strat style one
@@SoggyBacco false. The strat saddles can be replaced with ones that don’t poke
@@Ottophil false, has nothing to do with grub screws. a mustang bridge is more comfortable for palm mutes because the strings rest over the top of rounded barrels, where a strat bridge is essentially a tailpiece that you can intonate
where did they film this in a bar??? so noisy
It was at a content creators collaborative event, sorry about the noise 😅
I don't like your amp setup
*LIAR*
who in the hell is talking in the background?!!! SUPER DISTRACTING!!
Probably Ryan lol
