I think it’s the grille cloth that makes it sound muffled. It’s too thick, shaves off too much top end and makes it sound boxy. Conversely, it’s the same reason you see a lot of bands using Orange speaker cabs with Marshall heads.

I watch interviews with Paul all the time. But this one moved me at the end, and there aren't many in the music business that can have that affect. Great interview guys!

Orange worked _so hard_ to get that Clean channel together for the Super Crush 100, after the Crush Pro 120 Clean had the flat sound, and low volume issues. The funny thing is, I prefer the Drive channel of the SC100 to the Rockerverb.

Combining both channels sounds best in Parallel mode. I ran a second fuzz (Supercool 77 Fuzz Blender) in the lasso in parallel and got one of the sickest fuzz tones I've ever heard.

the JM Japan purple sparkle came out in 2007 and sold for $899, they only made them a couple years, today if you can find one it's at least $2500. The JM China are avail everywhere for still pretty cheap used, like $375 to $400, both are very cool looking guitars, will play the JM China tomorrow for first time. Great video way to go !

What pots do you recommend with these? I’m thinking about replacing the pickups in my AmPro II and these are one of the options

A humbucker in a jazzmaster is offensive. If you're going to do that, just get an SG. My favorite jazzmaster is whichever one Kevin Shields happens to be using.

Finally cleaned my jag-stang after picking it up for 200 dollars at a flea market a few years after it was first released. Pushed the saddles in to polish the bridge, and when I restrung it, the high-e string just floated above the saddle, which I only discovered while playing "get back" -- the high-note in John Lennon's little solo made me go "whoa, what's up with the intonation?". Spent hours with a Z shaped screw-driver to raise the saddle. No good. FINALLY found out that the way it had been strung when I bought it was wrong -- Mustang bridges have to be strung backwards, then under the Vibrato tail-piece, making the strings come from the body and up to the saddle where they sit comfortably. But damn is that a pain in the ass: I'm a converted bass player, where you have to be delicate with the strings, because if they get bent, they'll never get unbent, and wrapping the strings around and under a little cigar-sized piece requires way more tension while you're putting the other end in the tuning pegs, so the little o's at the bottom of strings keep popping out. So you shove them back in with an allen key, and PULLLLLLL. I hate mustang bridges. I want a Jazzmaster. Someday perhaps I'll be able to subscribe to "middle-class music", but either way, great chanel. I just discovered it.

i got luck, kinda. got the tele and only one minor issue. Earth bleed. otherwise i actually love the way it sounds and plays, but for one thing. 11.3 pounds. this is a SITTING DOWN player. btw, Fender *sell* one other mahogany tele. i say sell, because Cort Indonesia make them with Fender on the headstock under contract with fender. it's called "FENDER SPECIAL EDITION CUSTOM TELECASTER FMT HH". under a grand US i think (approx 1700AU). i think you might like THAT guitar. it's a real gem. sounds like a *nice* SG. i'm NOT kidding, you'd know the second you played one.

That sounds so sick with the Jazzmaster and both channels stacked. A lot of care was clearly put into making sure all this pedal's discrete parts worked well together, which is tough to do with filtering plus stacked distortion. I think my dream pedal right now would be something like a 1981 DRV mashed up with a yellow-box Ibanez flanger, with a similar routing switch.

Squiers as basic mod platforms are straight up addicting lol.. I have 1 bullet Limited edition telecaster, 1 affinity limited edition telecaster, 1 affinity telecaster deluxe, 1 paranormal offset telecaster, 1 paranormal tornado, 1 paranormal custom Nashville Stratocaster, a classic vibe 60's limited edition telecaster SH, 1 40 th anniversary telecaster.. all go through pup and bridge or brass/stainless steel saddles, I do a fret level, crown and polish, truss rod adjustment saddle height adjustment, intonation , sometimes replacement of pots and switches, electro socket, output jack and or jack plate. And sometimes Pearl pick guards and knobs. Total amount spent on each guitar including price of the squier itself ranges from about 270 to 500.. so what is accomplished in the end is a guitar that is right at custom shop level, which would normally cost from about 1200 to upwards of say 2500 bucks.. and it's a no brainer with a little bit of time and elbow grease. All in all I have less than 4000.00 in guitars and parts. Of which is a lot less than purchasing 8 custom shop or mim/ American/Japan telecaster jagmaster or strats which would run probably in comparison say $9000.00, of course the American, mim or mij would have more resale value etc, but I don't plan on selling any of them so no issue there.. I can Walk into guitar center and not find a better playing or sounding equivalent costing 800 and upwards of 1300.00 tele than my squier bullet telecaster that I only have about 270.00 bucks and some time and fretwork setup elbow grease into.. maybe some more expensive teles have fancier grained flame maple tops etc, but my little hot rodded squier bullet telecaster slays them tonality and playability wise lol.. a basic platform with mods and setup is truly the way to go. You customize it exactly how you want it, and meticulously set it up, do the fretwork perfectly and it will scream, sustain, and be phenomenal for lack of better words lol..

Squiers only need a handful of parts and maybe some basic fret level, crown and polish and you have a custom shop level guitar..

Have the offset squier paranormal telecaster SH made in China and love it.. I did change out the bridge for a heavy solid brass one and put a fleor tele rails pup strictly due to preference for heavier distortion lead tones.

Loved the demo! Would like to see Old Blood Noise Endeavors combine the harmonic portion of the Blackcap with the reverb used in the Dark Star! Even better would be a switch that allowed the tremolo before/after the reverb like what they did with the Rever and Minim!
