That is one powerful toy! I just wonder how long the chargeable battery will last. If it's anything like the cheap smart phones, it'll likely give up after a couple of years. It's not about the money, just a shame that it will end up getting tossed away.
As for shootout vs the Champion, it'll probably blow that out of the water....

Great episode folks. I have a bunch of Katana products. I considered picking this up, but I just wouldn't have a use for it over the headphones.
My only wish for the Katana line isn't to include a screen, but to update the app UI. It is lagging far behind other multi-effects units, and there's just no reason for that.

When we recorded with it we had headphones plugged in, but also had sound from a monitor to easily sync things in the edit, soooooo it might just be possible

I’ve got this, the NUX and the fender headphone thingies. The fender sounds great but it’s quite limited. The NUX is good but harder to dial in. The katana go is the most versatile and flexible. Also the biggest and heaviest. In a week, I’ve dropped it twice when unplugging it.

NEW-X is how they want you to say it, but I like Nuh-ks better

I have the Mustang Micro and the Boss GO.
Where Fender wins:
Cleans are better. Vintage sounds are better. You can stream from any app directly into your headphones for practicing/jamming. The Boss streaming options suck. Fender needs to make a v2 to compete though.
Where Boss wins:
The screen. Heavy distorted tones are better. Amount of effects. Tuner. Killer app.
