- At GunCon 2024 we got to stop by the VKTR booth and see an interesting offering with the self-regulating piston system of the VK1. Using techniques to increase well time within the BCG, the VKTR team has achieved a very clean and flat shooting system. I'm hoping to get my hands on one of these for a full review!

This system is fantastic. I have a 16" and it is buttery smooth. Less recoil than my POF P415s and my MCX. Can't wait to suppress it.

@@ThinLineDefenseCo I’m referring to the statement of piston guns being less accurate. All my lwrc’s are 1.0 moa or better and the only reason they would be 1.0 moa on any day would be due to the dumb shooter (me), lol!

Super interested--seems like this system is ahead of the pack when it comes to short stroke piston. The only thing I am hearing that concerns me is the customer service. Anyone have experience with them? A big store in Idaho refused to work with them due to customer service issues.

This rifle gave me another choice after the mr556, lwrc ic a5 and other piston-driven, or made it harder for me to decide what to buy.
seems like a well put together system. How to they combat bolt tilt from the short stroke system?
If you take a look at the carrier, it has a beefed up back end which balances the carrier better and diminishes the tilt common with piston guns.

22.5 rotation is good. Not sure about their gas system. Looks promising, but i'm not in the market for even more ARs right now...

Hoping to get one and test it! I always thought piston systems were less accurate but my Jakl got like 0.6 moa....so...*shrug* Lets test it!

For +2000 from a not known company they need to work way harder for what others already offer. That's a negative Ghost Rider for me.
These rifles have been all over the county at demo events, competitions, dealer events, etc. The feedback we have been getting is phenomenal from dealers, end user, etc. 8 patents, ambi controls, etc. The product warranty and performance is spot on.

They've been making parts for companies you know for a long time. Also the piston system in the vk1 is Paul Leitner Wise's newest system (inventor of the piston system in LWRC rifles).
