Value vs higher end, buls quality, accuracy and other aspects are right there or better than most staccato I've seen. I've got the first gen 4.25 tac light and it's so smooth and accurate compared to staccato, hands down no competition, bul armory wins imo.

Just waiting for some inventory to hit the website. Really want one of the 5” Tac Pro’s. If I am that impressed I will pick up one of the smaller ones for EDC.
If you don't want to wait, buy what you want and send it out to be ported. DSC in Michigan did my V8 porting within a week of delivery. Highly recommend. $320 porting. So $100 more, but you don't need to wait.
@@ericsea7783 I’m doing the same thing. Bought regular Tac 4.25 and having it v8 ported before I even take it home. Luckily my FFL does porting lol. I was looking at the DSC to get a spare barrel and have him port that and keep it stock but I said fuck it.
Great guns but they seem to never be in stock. I got on an email notification list 6 months ago and never got notified that their SAS ultralight is in stock.
I think it's because of the design change for the 2025 and stupid ATF taking forever. I know Ben said Q4 for the new UL so keep an eye on the socials and follow us on instagram and I'll make sure to blow it up when it's in stock. -Walsh
That Tac Pro Comp is looking super sweet. Bullying the Staccato XC for half the price, if i had to guess. Only downside is that they don't have DLC coating, but once they figure that out, they will be the absolute kings of 2011-ish guns.

They used to offer comped models and they're still out there sometimes, it's not flush fit like the one coming out in 2025 but they work great. I have an ultralight comp model

You should look at GP Arms!!!! Take a look at the Forza, I'm really wondering your take on this gun. The costumer service has been second to none. I think you will be surprised as to how well its made and how gooood it shoots. A plus being its reliable. Please change my mind!!
That seems highly requested but remember they do two different things. The comp softens the shot while the ports return you to zero faster. The comp is the less useful one to me and often results in you getting a false sense of how hard you should be holding the gun.

Wouldn’t you lose all the pressure at the ports making the comp ineffective. Just asking because I have other comped guns the gas venting at the comp is what keeps the muzzle down but all the gas venting at the ports seems to defeat the purpose of the comp. Please someone let me know if I am incorrect
I'd be interested to hear more also. I think you're right but also why the port are only 6 ports instead of 8 and they're smaller. So the ports are returning you to zero and the comp is softening the recoil. Two different things but they do play into one another if you could balance them out perfectly! We'll see!
Bul - Please allow us to put pre-orders with pre-pay in online. We keep seeing great reviews on your guns but it is very difficult to buy them since they are always sold out.
I actually asked about this and Bul DID do pre-orders in the past and people complained about it for the current system. Just shows you can't make anyone happy.

I've talked about this a few times. It's a logistics problem.... the coating for DLC is done by Armorlube. The owner, Jason, is a fantastic guy. But Bul is made in Israel. Parts also have to be refit checked after coating So ever pistol would have to go to the US... get jammed up by the ATF... then leave... then come BACK again. I hear you but the reality of it is too stupid
my ultralight wont hold zero because of the dog shit optic plate system they used. theyve sent me 2 plates and it still shifts side to side under recoil about 4-5 inches at 15 yards
@ThinLineDefenseCo nope, its apparantly a known issue since only the ul has this crappy thin plate. Most people probably aren't good enough to notice something is wrong. Bul just keeps sending me plates. I put the slide in a vise and tapped the optic left to right with a rubber mallet and you can see the dot move. I'm over it at this point. I emailed them a week ago for the 4th time. There's a reason the new ul has a proper plate.
I want that new Ultralight Pro, but without that ridiculous, huge dot on it. Beautiful! There are appropriate sized dots for those that can't shoot with iron sights and need to make the pistol larger. That "EDC", call it an EDC duty weapon. Yes, I know folks that conceal pistols that size, and they are ridiculous. Unless you are physically HUGE and can carry it at 3 o'clock or 9 o'clock, you can't even sit down. I have three EDC CC weapons and I can sit down, drive, etc., with any of them concealed. Talking about concealing the TAC COMP is so stupid, I can't finish the video. Suck, too, cause I love Bul weapons. To the folks with Bul, yes, by all means listen to your customers, but please try your best to use your well established intelligence and give them what they need, which may not necessarily be what they think they want.
I dunno if they could, isn't the grip safety like a main component of the 1911? I havn't tore into one but otherwise you have no safety at all....and a 2lb trigger. Having shot it, that wouldn't be wise.

Bul Armory has to stop porting it and go back to using non-barreled compensators. Their compensators gave it a snout looking situation and design it like the staccato xc version of it. I really don't like the fact that the velocity of the bullet is being decreased.
It's not though. 3% velocity loss is a weird thing to worry about. They actually do. You can take your EDC to Bul and they can replace the grip to the UL one. At least here in Israel

ehhh it's pretty wildly different. The BAO uses a large center lug. I don't know what that accuracy x thing is trying to do

With the new naming convention, Tac would imply the steel frame. And no on weight because it's not the final production version
