I love inkvac but using it in soloq (which is what I always play) is an absolute nightmare :/ I feel like every time I pop it the enemy has an ultra stamp ready to immediately get me
Styling on your enemies with a low or bottom tier is the ultimate feeling. You don't need a broken main, sub and special combo, you're above all that. It also helps that the weaker weapons in the game are really cool and fun (seriously, try Recycle MKII, it's awesome once you figure out how to use it well)
As a Custom Goo Tuber pseudo main, I can say that the best playstyle for it is “Extremely out of position charger” where you never actually stand in a spot that is good for a charger to stand in.
Dread players right before fresh season: hope we get an aggressive and synergistic kit with torpedo and some decent special. Nintendo: reefslider is the most aggressive and combo potential you’ll have, go have a supportive kit and have fun.

Ah Ultra Stamp, how I love to use you until I'm against a shooter or charger... Also Annaki Nova is the most fun paint bot in the game, and they should give it better (or perfect) accuracy mid-air because funny space gun goes boing (and we don't have a weapon that gets better mid-air, just weapons that maintain their good traits without losing accuracy) That or give it hero mode shot accuracy, with the occasional spread shot but mostly a concentrated beam, that'd be fun if they actually gave it the "no shot deviation" gimmick.

It loses accuracy and range in jump mode (in exchange for a Luna blast radius) and the only reason you can use the full accuracy mode mid-jump is because of the roller jump bug (which might not be a bug in Nintendo's eyes anymore, if it is that doesn't bode well for rollers in S4)
My mom pretty much doesn't ever play splatoon 3 and doesn't know any of the weapon names. But there is one she always mentions. The hydra splatling. She liked undercover brella because she thinks it's "pretty," and she says that the hydra fires forever, and it shreds her immediately and that she can't play the game when one is in a match. So I've grown to annoy it, and not because it kills me a lot (I'm an inkbrush main so hydras aren't hard for me) but I hate them because I hate hearing my mom complain after we play. So that's why it's bottom tier for me.
As a Big Swig (Express) main, I'm very happy to see the massive vertical flicks get the recognition they deserve. :) I know it's the worst roller, but I don't care because I have fun turfing with it. And people underestimate my fighting skills and then get a one-shot to the face!

Most players massively underestimate just how helpful beacons are. I'm always overjoyed whenever there's a beacon player on my team. And sad when my teammates don't see enemy beacons in our spawn.
I loathe whenever enemy beacons go unnoticed, I run Hydra 90% of the time and the last thing I need is an unnoticed beacon bringing someone to me. I always delete them on sight.

You under ledge with swig is something i am so happy to see more people doing with the weapon. It's just a long vroller vertical that can hit people in what feels like Narnia. And the horizontal is surprisingly good under ledges aswell if the enemy is already weak and kinda close to the ledge

IMO, Undercover makes for a pretty decent sort of first Brella. It gives people a little less to worry about when it comes to the shield, and it at least feels light (I don't know the weight class).
it is lightweight, yea. i remember having a very hard time learning 'normal' brellas though, since i started with undercover. the fact that you can't shoot while shielded anymore, and that the canopy just launches is really weird to a newbie
undercover is fun when you focus on playing support-midline with ink res and sub res. You start tanking so much and distract the enemies since they go after you for the "easy kill."

The Big Swish is also a inking machine if u stay mid/back and horizontally attack it covers fast and efficient for moments when the enemy has to much ink

in the end, the best weapon is the weapon you're best at playing, in my opinions. although in higher ranks, match-ups matter more. I think people who just want to have fun should play the weapon they find the most fun.
You're playing my main! Undercover! I tun comeback and like 19 AP of Special Charge. And I just aggressively pick fights with mines. It is a bait weapon for sure.
I still worship the big swig as my favorite weapon in the game. And my take from it is the vertical flick (while ranged and semi useful) isnt your strongest tool. Horizontal flicks bring you so much more value with their spread and good height damage. (Seriously, on some maps if it is above you you cant get near it) obviously it suffers from having splash wall a little, but its a semi decent escape tool. And lets not forget about its strongest feat, its CRAZY object damage. It two shots a booyah bomb's armor, (Or you can just vac stall it with teammates) Instakills a crab, and shreds bubbler. While i like the express kit, i still play vanilla much more because i will always love ink vacs usage as a protection special.

Gotta' mostly master your shield respawn mechanic, be constantly dropping mines, and make sure you think about where you'll end up when using your reefslider to make sure you end up in a safe position.
A lot of these weapons are bad because of the kits. I think it could be a cool video to talk about what if the kits had their specials swapped and what the meta could be. Like would stamper be picked as much if it had burst crab or mist zip. Or would 52 be so popular if it had wall screen or curling wail.
