Being an Undercover player. I think fighting Stamper as Undercover is the single worst and least fun weapon matchup in the game. Horizontal slash destroys your shield and you die through shield before you can even get to hitting the 3 shots necessary, which isn’t even taking into account how inconsistent that 3 shot is. Vanilla kit is way worse because the kit makes it so much worse to fight with Zip being absolute hell to track down with how slow and weak undercover shoots.
Long range weapons like the Eliter and Hydra weapons, they are no doubt effective but its more than a little cheap to pot shot players from a distance to be quite honest.
As a Big Swig Roller Express and Splat Roller Main, I really hate the .52 Gal, .96 Gal, Tentatek Splattershot, all chargers (well except Bamboozler and Snipewriters), Inkbrush, Octobrush, Heavy Edit Splatling, Range Blaster, and Clash Blaster.

Back in Splatoon 2 i used to hate those weapons except octobrush, no because i struggled against them but i didn't know how to use them including bamboozler, now in Splatoon 3 i give them a try and now i feel this game is much more fun using every weapon
As a stamper main, I'd just like to say that stamper is only annoying when it's truly played well Of course, there are some things even great players cant win against, such as being ganged up on deep in enemy territory or getting killed by range/rapid AOE
@@Rubellite-jq2kg I hate stamper because of it’s stupid range on the charge slash comboing with burst bomb. Im fine fighting the nouveau kit but can’t stand the vanilla
@@BigPro1123 you should probably try attacking a sword(stamper) player with another teammate and each of you should take different angles if possible, since the ink consumption nerf did hurt its ability to slay quite a bit If it gets too eager and spams 2 burst bombs during the fight, it'll likely end up with no ink left to fight, at which point you can easily finish it off
1: range blaster Because have a ranged wepon with splash is bs 2: custom e-liter When I'm close, they use kraken 3: bablobber They just sit back and shoot blobs, barely interacting with anything 4:clash blaster Once you in its range your dead 5:reflux Has more missiles than korea
As stringer main, carbon rollers, ink brushes, blasters, nautilus, and splatanas give me the most trouble. Don't hate them, but do hate my odds when they're on the other team. I find I work well with them when they're on my team instead though.
4k eliter because it's the one thing that easily outranges a stringer, dualies because of how fast they close the gap and pressure a stringer, and any weapons that can just aim up to a ledge and hit a person, i.e. blasters, sloshers, blobbers. When I see those on the other team I groan audibly 😆 0 respect for tri slosher since Splatoon 2.
Another thing is that even against a .52 who reached max rng spread, you can roll to his left and still get shot because he has super luck and a shot deviated left hits you and kill you
This is correct. You gotta feel it out! gear is so subjective to play style and player expression. great job with this video. too many gear build videos out there miss the experimental nature of this process. the trial and error is the key!
52 gal main here, FUCK the hydra splatling During my struggle for S rank I tried everything from gal to dualie squelchers to wellstring yet I get fucking wrecked by those fucking cowards just standing up there spraying away while being out of reach for most of the time while I'm trying to mind my own fucking business, it got so bad to the point I had enough and made it my life's mission to grab a brush then run up to any hydra splatling user just to CREASE their jordans and make it personal cause if they ain't coming up to fight me, I'll be taking the fight to them instead
My ops: 5: Carbon Roller Deco-The burst combo is nasty, plus it has Trizooka 4: Decavitators-That dash slash is SUPER annoying 3: Clash Blaster-While not competitively good, it’s just annoying 2: Enperries-Not only are they fast, but they can just pop triple splashdown and probably kill you 1: .52 Gal-Do i have to explain?
For me it's definitely the splatling class. They FEEL OP to fight against. Also, the amount of times they get me while I'm trying to run away. R.i.p :(
as an octobrush main, sorry. it's usually the reason i leave dualies alone (besides enperries you guys suck.) , but also, God I HATE going against painbrushes.
it's kinda funny that 3 of these are weapons i played a lot at some point. i've played a lot of tri and a good amount of machine and carbon i've largely stopped playing tri though
My top 5 least favorite main weapons: 5. Splatana Stamper 4. Squeezer 3. Splattershot 2. Range Blaster 1. 52 gal I’ve been a 52 gal hater since Splatoon 1 And my friends wonder why I’ve never played Splatoon 3 competitively.
I basically hate to fight any weapon that has Aoe damage not because they are Op (they are not) but rather the guessing game that’s involved with the inconsistent hitboxes.
There be so many times where I win a fight and am pretty weak like 40 hp and then I just go boom. Because there’s no impact my gut instinct is like, is someone hacking. Then I see killed by 52 and that’s when I realized they were hacking by playing that weapon
It’s just splattlings for me. As a midline (and a newfound dualie squelcher) enthusiast, splattlings have been the only bane I’ve dealt with in 3. Im sure everyone struggles against shots and gals so I’d be stating the obvious saying they give me trouble.
When it comes to me my least favorite weapons to fight are easily E liter (either of them) 52 gal Machine Splash Nautilus They all feel pretty miserable to fight and this is coming from someone who plays a variety of weapons from tri slosh to octoshot to sploosh nova carbon deco and even stamper and heavy deco rarely
Yeah weapons like l3 are getting half kits meanwhile 52 gets 2 good kits. Also during worlds the team using both 52’s was jackpot and everyone in jackpot is insanely skilled
Obviously there's no denying that 52 needs some of those late-game Sploon 2 buffs undone but I still like it having Wall I don't think the issue is that 52 has a synergistic kit, it's that some weapons don't. They give 52 its best possible sub but Light Tetra gets its worst possible sub
As a hater of 52 gal this video is peek mostly because I run into that garbage when I have very bad streaks and face toxic mains that do not let my team leave the spawn it’s rather upsetting. Nintendo please if we get a splatoon 4 do not give the gals that amount of power
I hate all of these weapons except maybe the Painbrush, for pretty much all the same reasons you stated (Machine’s hitbox, Octobrush’s vision obscuring, Carbon as a whole, Tri being too fast, and .52 as a whole)
The way I knew you were gonna say 52. Gal says something lol. Will say I'd have to agree especially since I main weapons that need close range (brushes/rollers) and 52. Gal is nearly impossible to approach without sneaking up on it
I'm an octo brush main and I can agree I hate fighting the painbrush mainly bc it can splat you in 2 shots when it takes me 4 to splat it tho I try to counter that by attacking it either from the side or behind ( just wanted to share my thoughts )
Ironic. As a long-time Octobrush main, I don't like facing dualies, especially Tetras. Maybe I just suck, but the dodge rolls make you guys so hard to hit even with the larger attacks.
We better not be nerfing weapons after they get some results, nerf when it becomes mandatory to have on your team. It’d need to win like 3 more tournaments before it’s considered a top 5 weapon
@@HeDronHeDronHedronit’s impossible to find one person who doesn’t have it on a top 5 least favorite list. That’s how strong it is. I think it desperately needs nerfed. It gets good results in tournaments and is super popular in anarchy

@@HeDronHeDronHedron52 feels like the most braindead weapon though. I decided to use it myself and the first thing I did was instantly get a triple kill. Weapons like ballpoint, stamper, slosher, pencil and tent are a lot harder to use effectively than a 2 shot shooter. Yes those weapons might get better results but are really hard to get a lot of use from. 52 is way to easy to get great value with and doesn’t require much time to get good with. The weapons mentioned previously can take months to master while 52 is a weapon almost anyone can pick up and start doing really good with within a day as it has such a low skill floor and the weapon is just overtuned in general doing way too much
Always find it strange how the 52 & 96 gal aren't heavyweight weapons. Every class should have a heavyweight member with crazy specs IMO, and the weapon based on those wrist-breaking water coolers seems like an obvious choice.
Not going to lie, I was expecting Heavy to be on this list. The main weapon and special are very effective against dualies and synergise amazingly together. Then again, wave breaker has been thoroughly power-crept over the course of the game, and the main weapon could use a buff to its shot velocity.
I was and still am Emperor Splat/Dappe Dualies main and I can safely say that I agree with this. However, there have been some changes since my love for the OG Splatana Wiper/Splatoon 3 was released. So here is my new list of 5. 5. Nautilus 4. Reef Lux 3. Zap 2. All types of bucket mains 1. Carbon Roller Deco, especially with ninja squid… P.S. I am eating my pizza right now 😂😂😂
5. Liter we all know why 4. A Good Stamper player even with the nerfs its just insane how high the skill cealing of this weapon goes and how much value that skill cealing get it 3. JR the weapon is whatever the playstyle though is just constant bombs which for slower weapons like blasters which i play alot is just awful same with torpedos cause they are a paint to shoot down 2. 52. ye we all know why 1. Squeezer, Screw squeezer great kill time, amazing range, no jump rng, annnd the kit of splash wall and zooka paired with cooler meta just makes this awful to fight you spend like 30 seconds and a tone of reasroces to get rid of it and it just respawn instantly with a zooka
I just don’t get roller’s hitbox sizes, sometimes I feel like I’m far away from the OHKO and still get splatted. ESPECIALLY the dynamo roller, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been killed by that thing because it’s OHKO hitbox is gigantic! I love to play it but sometimes I just feel cheap using it or when players use the dynamo, just feels cheesy. No disrespect to the dynamo players, I just HATE facing them
nah I soooo agree with octobrush and painbrush LOL I have 0 fun at all fighting either and personally my least favorite weapons to fight are: Tetras, painbrush and octobrush, bamboo and pencil
Mine most hated are e-liter, painbrush, boblober( I don't know or care if I spelled that right), .5, and the hydra. I mostly hate hydras because of splash zone, cause the can stand at a different zip code and paint the zone and you can do NOTHING about it
My 2 least favorite weapons are 52. Gal for pretty much your exact reasons, and Stamper, for its obnoxious charge slash fire rire rate, range, and 2 capabilities
I hate going against Clash Blaster and Nautilus 79. Clash Blaster is annoying and Nautilus 79 feels impossible to approach without being splatted, and if you do they just pop Splashdown
Honestly I despise splattings 52 gals and snipers mainly because I main n-zap but I learn the maps I can get on the enemy’s base the most kill people on the way then make a distraction at their base so my team can paint but those 3 weapons stop me from ever doing if it’s on the opposite team
it’s annoying to play against someone who is even semi-good at octobrush. octobrush is a weapon i also can’t get used to playing, it almost feels too fast yet too slow at some points for me. that octobrush + ninja squid combo is… man. i also can’t stand playing against exploshers. literally IMPOSSIBLE to dodge.

Back in Splatoon 2 i used to hate those weapons except octobrush, no because i struggled against them but i didn't know how to use them including bamboozler, now in Splatoon 3 i give them a try and now i feel this game is much more fun using every weapon
I was *so* pleasantly surprised when the trails music came on for tri-slosher
My Top 5 annoying weapons to play against :
1. Stamper
2. Naut
3. Eliter
4. Vshot
5.Carbon
As a stamper main, I'd just like to say that stamper is only annoying when it's truly played well
Of course, there are some things even great players cant win against, such as being ganged up on deep in enemy territory or getting killed by range/rapid AOE
@@Rubellite-jq2kg I hate stamper because of it’s stupid range on the charge slash comboing with burst bomb. Im fine fighting the nouveau kit but can’t stand the vanilla
@@BigPro1123 you should probably try attacking a sword(stamper) player with another teammate and each of you should take different angles if possible, since the ink consumption nerf did hurt its ability to slay quite a bit
If it gets too eager and spams 2 burst bombs during the fight, it'll likely end up with no ink left to fight, at which point you can easily finish it off
as a carbon deco i apologize if i was annoying u i also am not a ninja carbon i mean no harm
1: range blaster
Because have a ranged wepon with splash is bs
2: custom e-liter
When I'm close, they use kraken
3: bablobber
They just sit back and shoot blobs, barely interacting with anything
4:clash blaster
Once you in its range your dead
5:reflux
Has more missiles than korea
That’s so funny because I usually die to Dooleys when I’m using the gal
52 gal main here, FUCK the hydra splatling
During my struggle for S rank I tried everything from gal to dualie squelchers to wellstring yet I get fucking wrecked by those fucking cowards just standing up there spraying away while being out of reach for most of the time while I'm trying to mind my own fucking business, it got so bad to the point I had enough and made it my life's mission to grab a brush then run up to any hydra splatling user just to CREASE their jordans and make it personal cause if they ain't coming up to fight me, I'll be taking the fight to them instead
Oh hey that’s what you wanted those replays for on Twitter!
yerrrr
@@Chase247 Glad I made the cut even though it's for an anoying weapon list. Pretty sure everyone can agree on 52 though
My ops:
5: Carbon Roller Deco-The burst combo is nasty, plus it has Trizooka
4: Decavitators-That dash slash is SUPER annoying
3: Clash Blaster-While not competitively good, it’s just annoying
2: Enperries-Not only are they fast, but they can just pop triple splashdown and probably kill you
1: .52 Gal-Do i have to explain?
For me it's definitely the splatling class. They FEEL OP to fight against.
Also, the amount of times they get me while I'm trying to run away. R.i.p :(
I tried using 52 gal once but i still lost, some people are pro players and im a trash player
as an octobrush main, sorry. it's usually the reason i leave dualies alone (besides enperries you guys suck.) , but also, God I HATE going against painbrushes.
0:12 is that the reeflux I see?
it's kinda funny that 3 of these are weapons i played a lot at some point. i've played a lot of tri and a good amount of machine and carbon
i've largely stopped playing tri though
I'm a brush main, and I have a crippling weaknesses to anything that shoots faster than i flick.
Ive been using the slosher and sloshing machine a lot lately and I love it tbh. I'm a bamboo main so it's nice to be able to save myself finally lol
Chase with the good kid music? good choice bro
My top 5 least favorite main weapons:
5. Splatana Stamper
4. Squeezer
3. Splattershot
2. Range Blaster
1. 52 gal
I’ve been a 52 gal hater since Splatoon 1
And my friends wonder why I’ve never played Splatoon 3 competitively.
As a dualie main, I can 1000% confirm that these are annoying weapons. Along with the auto spray RG.
As a splat dualie player finally someone understands me. No matter what slosher feels like it gets you even if you're out of range.
When it comes to me my least favorite weapons to fight are easily
E liter (either of them)
52 gal
Machine
Splash
Nautilus
They all feel pretty miserable to fight and this is coming from someone who plays a variety of weapons from tri slosh to octoshot to sploosh nova carbon deco and even stamper and heavy deco rarely
52 is strong but not op. The only reason it feels "overpowered" is because most of the weapons in Splatoon 3 are underpowered.
Yeah weapons like l3 are getting half kits meanwhile 52 gets 2 good kits. Also during worlds the team using both 52’s was jackpot and everyone in jackpot is insanely skilled
Obviously there's no denying that 52 needs some of those late-game Sploon 2 buffs undone but I still like it having Wall
I don't think the issue is that 52 has a synergistic kit, it's that some weapons don't.
When I was experimenting with different weapons, 52 gal made me feel like cheating so I main other weapons instead to have more fun
Ironic. As a long-time Octobrush main, I don't like facing dualies, especially Tetras. Maybe I just suck, but the dodge rolls make you guys so hard to hit even with the larger attacks.
As a trislosher main, our main weakness is our range. That’s why I always try using stealth tactics and ninja squid
As an inkbrush and squiffer main i hate dualies so seeing you going through it gives me life
52 is probably gonna get some nerfs, especially because during Worlds, both kits were producing results.
@@BigPro1123 And yet, vshot, snipewriter, slosher, range blaster, stamper, tent (maybe both kits, probably not), splash, dualies, nautilus, nzap, ballpoint, and possibly even machine neo are all better weapons. People hating a weapon isn't a good reason for it to be nerfed. Yeah it gets good results in tournament but its not like its MANDATORY like cooler
The weapons mentioned previously can take months to master while 52 is a weapon almost anyone can pick up and start doing really good with within a day as it has such a low skill floor and the weapon is just overtuned in general doing way too much
@@BigPro1123 ok so win a tournament and then it can get nerfed
Carbon roller is kinda peak to me tbh but the paintbrushes? Yeah theres a reason why i see clam blitz as the most unfair splatoon mode ever made.
Always find it strange how the 52 & 96 gal aren't heavyweight weapons. Every class should have a heavyweight member with crazy specs IMO, and the weapon based on those wrist-breaking water coolers seems like an obvious choice.
My least favorite in no order
1. Tri slosher
2. Eliter
3. 52 gal
4. Stamper (specifically vanilla)
5. Range blaster
Yes, brushes are so annoying as a dapple player. I have to get close up and they flick in my general direction and I’m dead. Ugh.
Not going to lie, I was expecting Heavy to be on this list. The main weapon and special are very effective against dualies and synergise amazingly together. Then again, wave breaker has been thoroughly power-crept over the course of the game, and the main weapon could use a buff to its shot velocity.
i honestly dont struggle against heavy too much, ballpoint and hydra are way tougher to deal with imo
I was and still am Emperor Splat/Dappe Dualies main and I can safely say that I agree with this. However, there have been some changes since my love for the OG Splatana Wiper/Splatoon 3 was released. So here is my new list of 5.
5. Nautilus
4. Reef Lux
3. Zap
2. All types of bucket mains
1. Carbon Roller Deco, especially with ninja squid…
P.S. I am eating my pizza right now 😂😂😂
I mained since Splatoon 1 the carbon roller deco, it's true we feed on the tears of skirmishers and tetras lmao
5. Liter we all know why
4. A Good Stamper player even with the nerfs its just insane how high the skill cealing of this weapon goes and how much value that skill cealing get it
3. JR the weapon is whatever the playstyle though is just constant bombs which for slower weapons like blasters which i play alot is just awful same with torpedos cause they are a paint to shoot down
2. 52. ye we all know why
Dualies are one of my least favorite to fight. They just keep rolling all over the place, they feel impossible to stop on clam blitz
Well as a 52 main I love the buffs. I hate Clash and enperry
As a OctoBrush main I agree. I am a menace to duelies.
Im starting to use dualies after five starring my e-liter, and all 5 of these weapons are the ones that make me lose hope in a match.
My mains are usually 52.gal, painbrush with missiles, and Dooleys with splash down
I just don’t get roller’s hitbox sizes, sometimes I feel like I’m far away from the OHKO and still get splatted. ESPECIALLY the dynamo roller, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been killed by that thing because it’s OHKO hitbox is gigantic! I love to play it but sometimes I just feel cheap using it or when players use the dynamo, just feels cheesy. No disrespect to the dynamo players, I just HATE facing them
52, Carbon Deco, Trislosher, Nautilus, E-liter. Easily the worst 5. Honorable mentions to Pencil, 96 and Stamper
nah I soooo agree with octobrush and painbrush LOL I have 0 fun at all fighting either
and personally my least favorite weapons to fight are:
Tetras, painbrush and octobrush, bamboo and pencil
Mine most hated are e-liter, painbrush, boblober( I don't know or care if I spelled that right), .5, and the hydra. I mostly hate hydras because of splash zone, cause the can stand at a different zip code and paint the zone and you can do NOTHING about it
One time i was having trouble ranking up, so i picked up the 52 gal. It was like playing the game on easy mode, and I imediatly got to S plus.
I had a similar experience except I was using roller in s2 to get me to X rank
Even as a Tri Main I still think the main weapon is super BS at times.
Tri is annoying but there are things that I hate more like Inkbrush.
honestly for me it’s duel sqeucler heavy edit , splattershot , clash blaster and tri slosher for me personally
Imagine how many consistent problems of this game would have been solved by rolling back a few s2 buffs before its release.
As an Octobrush main with all 3 Octobrushes to 5 stars, I can easily fight against dualies, but NOT .52 gals, I hate fighting against it so much 😣
as a bp main im disappointed absolutely none of my kit main sub or special hit these lists
Wiping the floor with Octobrush mains using Inkbrush+Turbo. 😎😎
My 5 are splatterscope, nautilus (the one with splashdown), range blaster, aerospray rg, and my most hated, z+f splatterscope.
Youre mic sounds super good!
