I seriously want to know who went "I know, let's start a brass band, but metal AF." And then found a female singer who can perfectly express righteous societal rage. And also sing Tool songs.
There is nothing about this I don't love. Absolutely brilliant cover! The work it takes to translate this song into a full brass band and still retain the passion and message is astounding. Thanks to all involved.

Wow, I can really appreaciate the vocal control of Sophia Urista. After seeing the other videos with her I am AMAZED. Even the way she "lives" the song she make it seem like she wrote this song. Talent beyond reason.
I'm never going to look at this song the same again. Phenomenal work to translate the musical nuances into a horns section. I have no doubt that you will be able to cover other important RATM music and perhaps be on their next work of art. Completely stunned and in awe of your covering this song.

I have always loved this song and Sophia's cover is amazing. I love her. Today going back and listening after everything that has been happening, since well, forever. But more recently the influx of deaths...Singing along with Sophia and knowing that there is so much hurt right now. This is the first time this song made me cry. The anger we are seeing right now stems from SO MUCH hurt. We have all been asleep for far too long and have give the police have too much power. And the further up you go the worse it gets.
They kill it. The intensity is in the music. And the rage is in her voice. Well executed.

Man, RAtM are one of the hardest bands to cover. Zach was basically the embodiment of all the undirected rage of a generation, and it's basically impossible for us mere mortals to channel that kind of raw energy. Couple that with Tom's unique sound, and you've got yourself one hell of a hard act to recreate.
Aside from some iffy timing at the start though, this was a pretty damn valiant attempt, and congratulations are in order!
I think every band on the planet can play this song. Get a Digitech Whammy and google Toms setting and you have a pretty authentic lead tone. Vocals are in an easy key for most people to sing also, not a whole lot of range. Sounding as pissed off is another story.
Its a real sing along, isnt it? My girlfriend who dont sing can sing this one. My drummer and his awful voice used to sing this one, when we used to do it.
When at a bar, and a band is covering it, no one has a problem singing along. Even the worst singers can do alright on this one.
Steve Hogsett and, surprisingly, everyone sucks doing it. This one is cool tho.
