Violins and guitar was clearly playing something else, horns wasn’t changing notes when music clearly was while breathing was in sync, and doubt NK would sing English that well considered how isolated the country is. I hope they tour the U.S. Right after this one they covered Cat Stevens' "Peace Train." A few in the crowd started to join in and were shot, but otherwise it was just...tears, man. Tears.

Must have been a hell of a job to edit this. Laibach on the other hand needed no editing, they just gave a legendary show there! Being the first western band to play in North Korea is quite an honour to be granted!

Early 1980s with NSK, members went to jail exposing the terror coming from Moscow. Money played no role, it was all about ideals and art. This carried on through the rest of the 1980s with albums like "Neu Koservatiw", "Ein Schauspieler", "Laibach" and "Nova Akropola". In the 1990s and until 2010 they became more commercial, which is not necessarily a bad thing and they also have to eat. It does not mean that they did not bring out experimental albums like "Laibachkunstderfuge" and "Volk" is brilliant. Yet, they keep their political ideal that they held from the beginning being vocal against totalitarian states and aggression. So when Russia invaded Moldova, Chechenia and Georgia, Laibach openly condemned it, as well as the US aggression in the middle east. In the last decade, Russia has become their most profitable market and when Russia invaded Ukraine last year, Laibach did not condemn Russia as they knew that they would lose that market almost completely. The result is that they shot themselves in the foot, as the most of the rest of their fans were alienated. It is now so bad that Laibach had to beg for people to subscribe to their Spotify again some months ago and less than 2 months ago they gave an interview where they said that they acknowledged that Ukraine had the right to defend their culture, but still they did not condemn the invasion.
Several concerts have been cancelled, as not enough tickets were sold and in Germany more and more right wing extremists are coming to the concerts. For people that have followed Laibach for 30-40 years, the current formation is as far away from the original ideals that were held by Laibach and NSK, as ever could be.
I bet they let Laibach in as "Look how horrible they Western world became"
