Hello, dear friends and thank you very much! Tricky words and expressions right here are very interesting useful and nice. Have a fantastic Sunday's evening. Hello from Moscow.
Your. Videos are cute... informative and efficient....I don't know if you know but here in Brazil you are outstanding.Teachers love the way you are. Take it from me;I use your videos on youtube to teach. Someday I'd love to see you both paying a visit to Brazil... I'm sure you will be warm welcomed....you also could do a video talking about your life linking to English language...Regards and thanks!!!
We're so glad you like the\m Henrique and thank you so much for this kind comment. As it happens, we LOVE brazil. We have been several times and hope to return one day.
OMG ! That background you’ve used at 0:25 is the bookshelf in a cafe in my city (Geneva🇨🇭) it’s called « Café Slatkine » i used to go there very often ! (Before Covid) don’t hesitate if you’re ever in Geneva, it’s in the old town ! Thank you for your videos ! As always it’s a pleasure to learn with both of you !
Oh wow! It came from unsplash, or maybe pexels or pixabay and I've always liked it, How lovely to learn that it had come from Switzerland! Thanks so much Le Petit Lord.

Can I just say I LOVE how fun your videos are. I teach English online and your videos give me a lot of ideas. I'm from the UK but I don't live there so hearing your phrases Vicky makes me feel at home! Also, I'm almost 40 and have a travel channel. It's great to see fellow older RUclipsrs!

I love your videos. They are fun to watch and I love how you create little stories to give us context. It makes so much sense to teach like that because it is how children learn their mother tongue. Great job. Thank you.
Thanks for this suggestion, Magician. I'm not sure I've noticed many American and British differences in intonation, but we have noticed some word stress differences. Perhaps you've seen this video? ruclips.net/video/icZRl9wAMUI/видео.html
I must admit I've never known what this "you can say _that_ again" or "say _that_ again" meant. Although I realised the special stressing of "that". I literally thought I was encouraged to repeat something so that we could indulge in it. It must be like "How are you doing?" to which one isn't supposed to explain how they're doing.
Hi n8flieger. These days, no! I spoke French when I lived in Algeria and a some Japanese when I lived in Japan, but I have forgotten most of these languages now. Jay learnt some German when he worked for a German company, but again, he's forgotten it now.

Hi Fatemeh. Sorry to be late replying and thank you to KaylaZX for responding too and her great explanation of 'rock it'. Freaking is often used instead of a swear word in English - it's a more polite alternative and yes, we say 'rock it' when we want to encourage other people and generate enthusiasm.
Hi Alexander. Great question! The word 'please' looks simple because it seems to equate to similar words in other languages but its uses are often a little different in English. The problem here is the word 'please', which we commonly use in requests. Well done you for spotting there could be a problem here. We use 'here you are' when we give someone something, so essentially it's an offer rather than a request. Drop the 'please' and it will work fine.
