hahah lots coming, we havent budged out of the studio since Christmas, want to get everything ready by April, tracks will be uploaded here in the coming days as we finish them before they go for final mix so you guy can have your say. Then we print it and tour it.
Hey Roger, the vid was made in behind the main vocal PA, and we didnt use monitors that night either, so what you are hearing vocally is about a third of the volume it would be out front. We were surprised to pick up any vocal at all really, but as we weren't playing at major volume, some leaked through, so Its not ideal, but then again it was never supposed to be a pro vid, we were just back from a string of gigs in Spain, and we wanted to capture those little nuances you pick up as a band from playing 3 or 4hr shows every night. All those solo or rhythm ideas you get from improvising have come together and you lose them because the song is moved out of the set, and you have to start fresh again sometime down the line. So we got a buddy to hunker down with his phone right in front of my amp. Its times like that you see that thing I am doing with the volume knob on the guitar at the end of each bar, that shimmery sound, no idea when or why I started doing that, but its lovely, and I would never have noticed only for these vids ! Its more for us than you guys haha.
