Would be helpful if you showed how much gaddam oil to put in it. Can't find it in any of the manuals. Just says to fill to the line, but doesn't specify in any type of units of measure how fricken much.
Had to call Jason a customer service I had them on backwards the tines. The one thing is the arrows on the video are not placed on the same side as the product the yellow arrows may be confusing to some because of the placement
Agree. They SUCK! No parts guide in the manuals, etc. Spend a little more on a better assembly guide manual and I’d gladly pay a few bucks extra to purchase the next model I get
@2:20 - "Position lower frame assembly onto the main tiller assembly" - This was HARD. They make it seem simple to slide it on in the video, but I really struggled with this part. Ended up needing to get it mostly aligned and then pounding it into place with a rubber mallet.
I purchased the Toro Front Tine Tiller Model 58604 and had it shipped to my house. I opened the box and there was oil all over the inside which was a shock to me. Do they ship with some oil in the engine? Secondly, the instructions are worthless. By watching this video it helped a ton. I think I'll be starting a fire with the instructions Toro. Who writes your crap?
If not for this video, I would have taken this back to Lowe’s within 30 mins of starting the assembly. None of the yellow arrows were on the correct side. The instruction manual is utterly worthless. Hope I did everything right… guess I’ll know when I put it to work
You probably of been better off in the long run as much as I wanted to love mine in a matter of a season and a half the transmission for the tines is shot. Never used it for breaking ground only weed control after garden was planted. There junk IMHO.
I had to stop trying and walk away to put it together from the instructions what he does on this video no way you can tell in instructions I hope this tiller works well
I'm confused on making sure I have all the tines going in the correct direction. I see the arrows. Do I just need to make sure they're going in the right direction?
I wish the video showed how to put oil in as well as start up.. You guys assume we know to keep it level and pour oil into the little oil plug. 🤷🏻♂️ oil was dripping everywhere since there’s no directions anywhere. It took me like 15 minutes looking where to put oil.. didn’t know it was pour right into dipstick plug.
Wow, putting that together was fun, said no one ever. At least this video made it easier than the instruction manual

I'm sorry it was difficult to find the oil capacity/ You will find the engine oil capacity in the engine manual on page 6 in the table.
I agree.. I looked everywhere, how to put oil in/how much oil.. I just put the whole bottle it came with.
When assembled correctly finally the arrows were actually on inside not the outside

How do I take the engine apart? I think I may have a broken push rod.

Following but the arrows, one is showing and one of on opposite side.. going in Same direction
Also I wish they labeled the bolts.. it’s a guessing game
