I wish the video showed how to put oil in as well as start up.. You guys assume we know to keep it level and pour oil into the little oil plug. 🤷🏻♂️ oil was dripping everywhere since there’s no directions anywhere. It took me like 15 minutes looking where to put oil.. didn’t know it was pour right into dipstick plug.
Also I wish they labeled the bolts.. it’s a guessing game
Following but the arrows, one is showing and one of on opposite side.. going in Same direction
gonna try this one - D&D PowerDrive AX25 V Belt, AX, Rubber, 1/2" x 27" OC
Considering there is a need for a shield in front of the electrical..I blew a belt and took out the relay and wires...
How can I get one
How much is it
3,500 CAD
Palm tree fronds are a nemesis for any shredder.
I have this mower, and I like it. But I need to clean the engine. The manual doesn't say how to do it and this is the only video about the mower on this channel. Why don't you post maintenace videos? I'm sure I'm not the only one that could use them.
Lot of good that did… no hammer replacement??
How do I replace the pull string
How do I replace the pull string
Mine line cutter assembly broke ordered a replacement 3 months ago hasn’t arrive yet, so I ordered it from Amazon , the problem is it didn’t come with a head shaft. And original one does not disassemble from the shaft so what can I do? Can’t order one from Amazon
Ordered new parts now I have a locked engine, most likely a spark plug problem.
How can you tighten your belt
Anyone or Earthquake have the part numbers of the forward and reverse cables both of mine is broken and I need to replace them
How do I take the engine apart? I think I may have a broken push rod.
Great video. But could you do one on how to change the oil? Specifically, how to remove the left tine guard. Do you have to remove the wheels first?
did you fix all the issues you were having with this mower (belts etc) i wanted to buy one this week but you reviews everywere are not good
thank fuk i seen this video...i was about to buy one
How to take spark plug out
How to remove spark plug in earthquake tiller
Have the old model too... they no longer sell the tri and j hammers... figyers... i love this thing, starts easier than anything ive ever owned... i guess ill run it to its grave...
So what is the problem with these front drive belts, when I broke mine I tried to get another belt but they said they were all out because so many front drive belts had broke that they had no more in stock. If it is a safety precaution to snap the belt before something more major go's wrong. Or did they make the pulley's to narrow and should have a larger belt, because it seems these belts are snapping very regular. I live in an isolated area and I wasn't able to get a belt sent to me and I was not able to do my garden last fall. When it was working it did a great job, up until the belt went out, and I live in Canada and I am still having a hard time getting this belt, because they do not ship from the U.S. so now I am looking for any belt the same size.
Mine broke likely due to me not retightening the belt after the first 20 hours of operation.
Try AGM Canada tell them ax25 size
Does this work with other brands like sportsman
How do I figure out what size of belt do I need
How to figure out what size i need
Will this have powered wheels but stopped tines whed going across the lawn?
It would be nice to have instructions such as metric or standard, what size socket and wrench. Please EDIT. I have one coming Monday. What about adding oil, do I need a long funnel?
Got part numbers and a way to order the replacement blades?
Wow, putting that together was fun, said no one ever. At least this video made it easier than the instruction manual
The mower head on mine has sheared off. I got a replacement but there are no instructions on how to remove the busted one.
I have the very same issue. Bought the replacement part because I was told it was simple to replace but I cannot get the old part off and find zero instructions anywhere!
Anyone know where to get new belt?
Sure glad this is here
I have one and it starts. You can't get 87 octane gas without ethanol. I found 90 octane, ethanol free gas at a farm store. I have the 160cc Viper engine. It is stubborn though. The best way to start it is to pump the primer bulb 3x as the front of it says. It has a very fussy tank filter that I did a video on @ T wagner RUclips. The other option is a Briggs and scrap the Viper.
I wanted to see the chip size and shape
My belt lasted about 45 minutes before it snapped when a tire went into a depression. Brand new machine
I'm confused on making sure I have all the tines going in the correct direction. I see the arrows. Do I just need to make sure they're going in the right direction?
I purchased the Toro Front Tine Tiller Model 58604 and had it shipped to my house. I opened the box and there was oil all over the inside which was a shock to me. Do they ship with some oil in the engine? Secondly, the instructions are worthless. By watching this video it helped a ton. I think I'll be starting a fire with the instructions Toro. Who writes your crap?
Hey butt heads, stop advertising 💩 you can't get in southeast.
The S bracket bolt, M8x20, did not come with the packet of nuts and bolts. I used a M8x25 bolt that was supplied in quantity of 4 instead of 3. I also recommend Ardisam show the locaations of washers in the figures included in the assembly instructions for correct placement. A label on the pivot rod, rear axle and front axle will also help with assemnbly. The video also does not show the installation of the front axle washers and control rod washers. And after assessmbly there are 4 M10 washer left over. Not everyone has access to the internet.
Quit showing things you don't have anything stock. Impossible to get one in Georgia. Spread out some, or keep your advertising local to you. 🤬
I just got my edger today and this video is my saving grace!!!
Darned thing won’t start. Switch is ON. Primed with 87 gas, no corn oil. Oil in engine. But refuses to start. Pretty disappointed at this time.
can yiu give an example on how to adjust the belt tension. I'm new to the game
I had an older model of the K33 variant; this approach is completely different than on that unit. Mine had Allen screws accessed after removing the feed tube. Needed the right tools to remove and replace (I borrowed the Allen socket and torque wrench from my neighbor) and, while I was not without a stern curse or two, it seems a lot easier than lifting the 14.5 ft-lb Briggs engine that was on mine. In fact, access to the shredder blades required removal of the top bin and the back cover, while leaving all moving parts in normal position. Pretty simple to change out J-lugs and triangle blades at that point, but it was still a two hour job. I was thinking about buying another of these, but -- after six shoulder surgeries -- I'll go with something a bit more maintenance friendly. This is insane! Going to see what the 'All American' model has to offer in making up for the mere two year (versus 5 years here) warranty.
Would be nice to see how to tension the belt as well.
Alternative forward belt is AX25, it's $12 !! And generically available vs the oem recommended metric one that is unavailable for months at $40
Where did you buy this belt?
Great video! However; front tine tillers will beat you to death! I'm getting a kick out of the plastic wheels. 🤣😂😅
The belt 32993 BELT V 4L670 is unavailable; what alternative generic belt can be used?
Thankfully these are posted since I received none with mine
